After a referral, I scheduled an appointment via their web site. The place was packed even with an appointment. I had two to three people in front of me. (The line was worse later.) The team member examined the tire and suspected a puncture. The waiting room had a refrigerator with bottled water, so I helped myself. Seats lined the main area, and I never observed anyone having to stand. A bathroom is present. I was surprised to hear my name called by a technician versus an associate. I was sent on my way with a patched tire at no charge. I will definitely consider having Discount Tire replace the tires in the fall. read more

I called to see if they serviced trailers with tires. I had spoken to a very nice gentleman named Adam a couple of weeks ago and gave him all of the information on the tires for my trailer. He told me they had the size I needed in stock and quoted me a price and informed me that I could bring my trailer in anytime. I had 2 fairs to do and after unloading my trailer I decided to make an online appointment for 3:15. I arrived at 2:00 so that I could be there. Parking is limited so just beware there is parking on the street which is definitely where I parked. Jeffery was the associate that helped me. After looking at my tires he informed me that they didn't have the ones i had on in stock and would have to order them. I didn't want to have to come back so I asked if there were any other tires that would be a good fit as well as in my price range. He did go and look it up and found tires that he said would 99% be a good match. I paid for my tires (they give military discount with ID) and Jeffery said I will get a text message when they are finished. As u took a seat, the people started coming in. Glad I came early because there was a line out the door at 2:50pm. The associates were great. They acknowledged the customers coming in, waited on the ones at the counter, picked up the tickets to check customers out, answered the phones, pulled vehicles in and out of the bays and ended the transactions. That's not counting the ones working on the vehicles. They take appointments and walk-ins. They have plenty of open space seating inside and nice clean bathrooms. My recommendation is to schedule online, come in early, bring a snack, something to do or read and enjoy the comfortable seats. They had my trailer in the side of the building where they were working on tires for a truck as well. I had a flat tire on a Saturday and brought it to be repaired. It was about 3:30 pm and there was quite a few people already there waiting on their cars. I was greeted by a gentlemen at the counter and was quickly given a consolation about my tire tread life then started the process of getting my flat repaired. It was fixed in a few hours (because of the wait) I was not charged for the service and went about my day. I got a flat the following Thursday and guess what I brought it back. It was earlier in the morning so I only waited less than 30 minutes. Same great service same result. The staff at Sam's Town Hotel recommended Goodmans' Discount Tire in Southhaven, MS, to get it patched. When I got there, one of the staff informed me that I needed new lugs for the tire with the screw in it and a replacement part for my tire monitor system. I declined the $248 tire monitor system part but agreed to the $90 lug kit. Once I got home, I realized the same issue remained on that side. I came to this area to visit Graceland with a mentally disabled gentleman I take care of. On the way I noticed that my right front passenger side tire was low on air. I thought I better get it fixed before we head home. I took it to Discount Tire. From the very beginning everyone was so friendly and helpful. They looked at my tires and discovered that the tire that was low had a bad valve stem. They fixed it, aired up all four tires at no charge. That was very appreciated! I was so disappointed. It took three visits for me to receive assistance. I needed a tire replaced. I arrived at 5:08 and was told that no one could assist me because it was past 5 pm. I purchased the tire in hopes that a family member could help me (and no luck so I tried to return first thing in the morning). I arrived the next morning at 8:15, with my new tire still in my backseat instead of my tire rim, to learn that there was a 2 hour wait - I had to go to work, so on my way to work I called them back and asked to speak to Cory since he was who sold me the tire. I explained to him that I needed my tire replaced and that I worked long hours at work. He said he'd help if I come back at 5 pm. I arrive a bit after 5 and he looked annoyed I returned. They said there was another 2 hour wait since I needed my tire I waited - they got it done in about left than an hour. The pro is that the prices are decent. The con is that it's crowded, and the inconvenience I experienced because no one could assist me when I originally arrived. If you go, regardless of the time in the day, it's crowded. read more

I made an appointment online. When I dropped off my car, the employee went over the scheduled work to be done. I told him I wanted my tire pressure monitor sensors replaced as they were old and had been causing a dash warning. When I picked up my car, the employee told me there was no charge for the service performed. After questioning why, I learned they had not replaced the sensors as I had requested. He said they had reset them and claimed the request to change them was not on the work order, but offered to preform the service. (The sensors did not reset and still showed the error warning on the dash.) That's great, but I didn't have time to wait for them to work it in... which is why I made an appointment. Where I appreciate their speed, I still walked out with half of what I requested. For me, attention to detail is important and I don't feel that happened in my circumstance. I went to the Southhaven location today to get a tire patched and to possibly buy a new tire. I had the misfortune of getting CJ as the person to work with. He was very dry and unhelpful. I wanted to get a specific tire he tried to upcharge me on the one that was covered under the warranty and would not negotiate. I have never had this experience with Discount Tire. I have 4 cars under warranty. I decided to get the one tire under warranty and buy the other one somewhere else. When I got the car back no one bothered to put my spare and Jack in properly. Colton overheard me say something and jumped right on it. He immediately told me that he would take care of it. He even googled my jack and car type to make sure everything was in Perfect. WASTE OF MONEY. Took my car here a little over a week ago to get my tires balanced. The next day I'm driving down the interstate and start to notice that my tires do not seem balanced like they should be. I told my husband he needs to test drive my car because it doesn't feel right, to which he agreed. My husband took my car to a friends shop to test out whether the wheels were really balanced or not... needless to say they were COMPLETELY off. Recently purchased four tires and had them mounted to wheels at this location. Initially, the service was good. I was in and out in less than two hours without an appointment. I mounted the wheels and tires to my girlfriend's car and noticed that three out of four tires were low. I filled them to factory spec and the GF drove around for half a day before three out of four tires were nearly flat. I meet her with an air compressor and aired up the tires again and told her to go back to Discount Tire and ask that they check the valve stems/TPMS sensors for leaks. I had to go to work so couldn't go with her. Upon arrival, the service manger remembered her and got a tech to look into it. They admitted fault, apologized and said that they would fix the problem. Unfortunately, the tires and TMPS sensors were not installed correctly ... again... and leak. So, I sent her back there AGAIN. And again I have to work so couldn't be there. This morning, the 6th of December 2021 around 9am she was REFUSED service. They said that they didn't have time to "do any customer returns," that it was probably "because her car is old (it's a 2010 and what would have have to do with leaking tires?)" or "maybe it's something else." That's terrible customer service and I'm morally certain that they only did that to her because she's a woman. Unfortunately, she didn't get the name of the sexist that sent her away with a leaking set of tires sold and mounted at that location. She said that it wasn't a tech, that it was a male with strawberry blonde hair, short, that looks like he has never done any hard work in his life. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these people. The manager "Blain" called me to notify that my tires were not at the shop prior to my appointment at 0800 hours (it was a July 4th), but expected to arrive that day. Blain made three calls to me and personally took my keys for tire placement. They gave me a quote on tires for my F150 that was cheaper than the competitors and were able to fit me in the same day even though they had all bays full when I arrived. Everyone I talked to was helpful and professional. The warranty is no joke. Sunday night April 25 2021 at about 8pm I hit a deer and the front bumper cut a groove in the tread. Called the next day the 26th to see if that was covered. They said bring it in and we will get it replaced.
