I've been going to this Firestone for like over three years. They have good technicians. The front staff is also very helpful and good at customer service. I would recommend calling ahead to make sure they have a time available because sometimes their shop can get busy overall I think it's a good place to get your car worked on especially if you worked downtown you can take Groove on demand public transportation, taxi service, and get a cheap ride from Firestone to your work and then back my last service there was an oil change, but I've had a lot of suspension work and repairing a coolant leak and my car is still going over 200,000 miles read more

Thought this facility was a solution to a problem. Needed basic vehicle maintenance stuff on a pedestrian, basic vehicle. Specifically, needed oil change, filter, windshield wiper blades, some lights replaced on a Honda Odyssey minivan. Spoke with friendly, helpful person at the desk. They would have a mechanic the next day. So, I made a reservation. Show up the next day at the designated time, drop off vehicle. Friendly, helpful person back at the desk, as she said she would be. Reassuring. Figure it will take awhile, head to waiting area, take care of some correspondence on the phone. 45 min later, head to desk to check on progress. Friendly, helpful desk person gone. Nitwit milling about cluelessly present. He had already frustrated another customer quite thoroughly. She reported he would go into garage area - and just stare at tires?! (Meanwhile, mult people waiting at front desk.) More wasted time. Did I mention I'm waiting in line with a rollator? And we're all being assiduously ignored. Until this persistent woman chases him down and repeatedly taps on the glass door to the shop area. She can see him ignoring all of us - and staring at tires. My vehicle? In parking area. Hasn't even gotten into service bay yet! Sorry. I had a long day at work. I'm tired; I'm hungry. Don't have time for this. (How much longer would it have taken ???) Insist on key return; I'm done here. Going home. NOTHING accomplished, except wasted time and energy. Would they do a good job? Who knows? I had ordered a tire from a third party and had the tire shipped to the location. I had a 9 am appointment. When I walked in, the man at the desk was on the phone. It was a long phone call with a distributor, but he never even acknowledged I was standing there, and I did so for 30 minutes. Someone else stuck his head in and said, "Someone will be right with you." I finally said something to the man at the desk, and he was hostile to the fact that I was irritated at being ignored for 30 minutes. I waited 5--yes, 5 hours to get my tire replaced, even with an appointment. No effort was made to explain or apologize for this. The woman beside me had arrived at 7 am for an 8:30 appointment and was told at 10 am that her tire had not arrived. She was forced to come back later in the day and still had to wait an hour to get her tire replaced. The man on the other side of me had returned because the technician had replaced the wrong tire. He, too, had to wait hours to get this mistake corrected. There is absolutely NO excuse for this treatment, and I will never be back. read more

Very poor customer service. Went to pick up my car that I dropped off on a Thursday and I was told the service would be done on Monday. I arrive back from a trip the following Thursday said I was here to pick up my car and was told the service wasn't finished. I asked the tall red haired clerk why my car wasn't done and his response was , "I don't know." with a stank attitude. I then said what do you mean you don't know then explained the expectation that their colleagues told me a week ago. Then he told me what the hold up was as if he knew the entire time. I'm NEVER GOING TO FIRESTONE AGAIN. Very rude and no effective communication. They could have called me to let me know there was a delay before I traveled 45 minutes on foot to pick up my car. Cool...a week later my sensors on my tires are going off saying my tire is low. Come to find out the notification was for the wrong tire and it was a completely different tire that was low. Firestone let's me know they have the equipment for every other Tesla , except for a Y! Please look closely for damages to your vehicle for leaving premises after receiving service here. This is the second time they have damaged my vehicle but I noticed prior to leaving. Immediately informed management of issue but they didn't notify corporate office for a month. After submitting claim and being denied I was told to file with my insurance company and the would contact Firestone due to previous improper repair they initially caused. I showed up at 7 am (when they were supposed to open) and waited outside with a line of other people until 8 am when the first worker showed up to open the lobby. The line of people filed in and when it was my turn they quoted me about $250 for 1 tire. They told me I wouldn't be seen until 12 pm even though I had a 10 am appointment. I told them okay and that I'd be back by 10 for my appointment. I went to Discount Tires and got a better quality tire than I would've gotten there for $80 cheaper and was serviced and gone within an hour. I came back to Firestone for my 10 am appointment and they told me that I actually wouldn't be taken back until 3 or 4, even though I had an appointment. Workers were rude and not helpful. I found a local place (Carson Frame and Alignment Services) to do my wheel alignment for half the price and they squeezed me in and had me out of their shop after an hour. I would not recommend Firestone to anyone after this. read more

My wife ran over a nail and Friday night and I could not get the vehicle to the dealership from downtown. I went to Firestone Complete Autocare against my better judgment and was told that I needed to replace all four tires on my 2018 Jaguar F-Pace. I called Bluff-City Jaguar and they advised me that they have changed one tire plenty of times. The employee said that they had the tire in stock and I they told me that I would have my truck back by 3 pm. Well, I looked up and it was 5 pm and I and my family had to use Lyft to travel to all day in the rain. Firestone Complete Autocare had not called and when I attempted to call them, NOTHING! That left my family with no vehicle on Sunday or Monday morning and they left oil stains on the leather and sticky substance on the outside by the wheel that was replaced. The staff never apologize to me when I walked through the door and that hurt! read more

WARNING 2 of 2! On January 2, 2024, my car finally got towed to the Firestone on Madison. The Firestone in Southaven almost destroyed my vehicle and probably would have if I did not use the commonsense God gave me to stop driving the vehicle after I realized there was no oil in it after I paid for an almost $80 oil change. I got my car there and I was told they would do a full vehicle inspection on my car. They Lied! I was called and told my tires dry rotted on the side and they would give them to me for a discount price under my warranty. I asked when I get there can I see the tires for myself? Mike said yes. He Lied! He got my car confuse with someone else and then told me oh, all the tires are piled up out back. He should have set my tires to the side until I got there. He is not a man of his word. The tires they put on my car were really old new tires. Let me explain. I told the man, I guess Addison, that these were not new tires on my car, and he came out to look at them with me. And he argued with my up and down that they were new tires. He said that "they were dated for the 16th week of 2023 so they are brand new." Well, the 16 week in 2023 was April 23rd and that makes these old, brand-new tires that I am getting in January 2024. You're telling me I need new tires on my car and then selling me the oldest ones in the warehouse, making me think I am getting new tires when I am not, so you all can rid your warehouse of old tires is not cool. They are tricking all of these customers into buying new tires when we don't really need them. A young lady just told me they were trying to do that to her a month prior and her mom called them and said she don't need new tires. I wish I would have gone down there to investigate the tires on my car when he called and told me that lie because from my recollection those tires were fairly new. They are in the business of tricking, scamming, overcharging, ripping people off and destroying people's cars and lives. After driving my car for less than an hour after the repair of the oil pan from damage from the Southaven location and con into buying new tires that I didn't need, my car started putting really bad as if it was going to cut off. I was so scared because I had my son with me and I did not want to get stranded. I stopped in a parking lot and called Mike (the manager) and told him what was happening. His reply was "Oh yeah, after we got the car it was already sounding funny." I told him my car was not doing that before I brought it to you. Mind you, they said they would do a full vehicle inspection and if my car was making this noise, putting loud, why didn't you tell me when you called me about the tires and offer to fix/repair whatever the problem was? Liar! He told me about my car needing control arms, sway bars, stabilizers, another $1,038 worth of work, but you did not mention my car stalling, putting, not running right when you called me? That's because they did not do a full vehicle inspection. My car did sit for 3 months because they refused to fix the oil leak problem that THEY caused. I am so done with firestone. So many people I know talk so bad about Firestone dating all the way back in the 80s, 90s with issues they have had with Firestone. I always told people that I never had an issue with Firestone. I have been taking my Camrys to Firestone for over 18 years and never had these types of issues, distrust, tearing up my vehicles, lying to me, ripping me off, telling people they need work or items that they do not need, mainly almost destroying my vehicle. This is so sad. I will NEVER take my vehicle back to firestone. I'm scared to take it back to get the tires rotated on the warranty. PLEASE, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY DO NOT SUPPORT US AND TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS OR OUR VEHICLES!! Consider yourself warned. read more

This is absolutely the worst run tire shop in Memphis. I had an EASY job. Mount and balance four NEW tires (whitewalls) on my newly powder coated rims. I brought the tires and rims and they said they would have them done later that day. I know this is an easy job - if you have a tire changing machine and balance machine, but I thought I would try this Firestone (yes, name brand) because it is near my work and I pass it all of the time. First problem came when I got a call from them on DAY 1. They couldn't find valve stems to fit my hubs. These are stock 1950 Studebaker hubs - nothing special, actually, just a bigger hole. The next day I call back, they still can't find valve stems - I call some Studebaker experts and they assure me that ANY tire shop should have these stems. Then I look on the internet and see that Autozone has the larger .625in stems in stock. The manager, a new person to talk to, tells me that he will take care of it and find the stems. He will call me later that night. No call. I decide to take matters into my own hands on DAY 3!! I got get the stems at Autozone, show up at the place and we all agree they will fit. It is 11am. I call at 1pm - he is short with me and tells me he will call when they are done. I call at 3pm - no answer. I go over there at 5:30pm. I see that my tires are mounted, so I load them up, even though it is clear that they got their grubby greasy hands all over my NEW WHITEWALLS!! Ugh. Then the climax - he tries to charge me for the stems - that I brought to them at 11am because nobody on the management side of this shop knows anything about cars. I will never, ever take a car to this place or even get tires mounted. Firestone should be embarrassed. read more

This review can't really due justice for the type of customer service, we received on June 16th, 2018. I am editing this to state the FIVE star review, is for Exceptional Customer Service as well as fair pricing. Side note, the "Shop" was clean, organized and the staff worked wonderful together. My experience was GREAT. On an extremely HOT Saturday, it was near or above 100 degrees in Memphis TN while traveling to Eastern TN from Central TX, pulling a travel trailer, 2 dogs, an overheated woman and one frazzled husband. We pulled into Firestone at 1055 Madison Avenue with a blown AC Compressor. If you've ever been in Memphis, on a 100 degree day plus the heat index - you would understand my panicked state. I am the "Over Heated" woman, and it was serious because I don't sweat. "G" short for Geraldine and Juanetta were two of the most welcoming associates a corporation could have working for them. I know, I was in the collision industry for almost a decade. Most associates don't "see" the people. They react to a customer walking in the door, with a hello how can I help you? While this is adequate, both "G" and Juanetta' s enthusiastic and concerned greeting immediately relieved me. I was seriously concerned that my dogs would not be welcomed, and fearful of their wellbeing as much as my own. They quelled that fear as well. Both humans and animals were offered water. Please understand that my dogs are VERY well behaved and respond to commands within seconds. Everyone was very impressed with their behavior, but regardless I don't think "G" or Juanetta would have turned anyone else's companions away in a situation such as ours. We had everything serviced before we started our journey, and I had all of my vehicles records with me. "G" got us settled, there were a few customers ahead of us and we had to unhitch the truck and travel trailer for them to be able to look at it. Knowing that it was probably the compressor, we did a quick assessment of what the cost would be as a just in case - and I agreed. Please keep in mind that being a Saturday, they were extremely busy. Each customer was treated with as much kindness, courtesy and professionalism as we were. There were a few customers I would have had difficulty with but not these ladies. It was the compressor, as it was Saturday afternoon most part stores were close to closing. "G" with her take charge attitude, got the parts delivered. It did add and extra hour to the wait, but that was ok. Husband went out and talked to the tech, and was antsy, just like most men. We are waiting, and waiting, and when the parts arrive - they brought the wrong dryer - which is part of the compressor. Without it no AC. It is now close to 5PM and most part stores are closed. "G" was professional and so calm, I thought to myself, if I was still in the business I would steal her. She took charge once again, used her contacts, found someone to open their doors and get our part. Of course, this was going to add another hour or so to our wait time, not to mention closing time for Firestone. Marcus the mechanic, had plans after work, he agreed to change his plans, and stayed to fix our vehicle. Both "G" and Juanetta stayed overtime on a Saturday night. We were in their store for over six hours. Nothing but smiles, courtesies, understanding. Marcus even offered to help re-hitch the travel trailer. I believe we got on the road after 7pm. This is not something you want to have happen on the second day of your vacation. But I thank God, that we were in the right place at the right time, with the right people. Feeling nothing but blessed. Firestone employees knocked this experience out of the ballpark. It hasn't been my experience to have the exceptional service we had. read more

The customer service was great but the actual service was mediocre/lacking. I went in for a front end alignment. When I got my car back, the steering wheel was pulling more than what it was before. So I called to see what the get the paper work explained because it seemed like it was suggestion I replace or fix something else. I was told everything was fine. So I drove a few more days thinking maybe it was in my head or it would straighten itself out. That following Monday I went back, told them the alignment should be rechecked. When I came to pick my car up they said everything was fine, but a caster needed to be adjusted and I could take it to the dealership for that. They also suggested I replace my tire because it had a gash in it. I ignored that suggestion because the gash had been in the tire for months. So I left firestone with no resolution to my alignment issue, but they got my $120. read more

DONT GO HERE!!! I had a blow out on the freeway and had AAA tow me to this shop. I have some 20" Pirelli tires on my 2015 Mustang. To replace one tire this shop quoted me $800!! The Ford dealership quoted me $425. I went online at tirerack.com and found the exact same tire for $189. I called the shop back and they purposely gave me miss information to justify their price saying I had the incorrect speed rating. They explained to me that the load rating on my tire was the speed rating. They are either misinformed or deceitful. This shop marks up their prices tremendously and is very dishonest. But when I went in to get some work done on my truck, I picked it up, and the rear passenger wheel fell off in the parking lot (glad it wasn't on the street). The guy apologized, put the lug nuts on (which had been forgotten), and I was on my way. I did not stop to tell them to check out my wheel hub for damage, since it was 7:30 p.m. Another time when I asked them to fix my power steering pump because it had a leak, I left it, and when I picked it up I noticed in the next week it was leaking again. That cost me $900. I will not be back except for tires. read more

Booked an appointment online for an oil change and A/C inspection the day before I wanted to go in. I get there and I'm told the guy who does the A/C inspections is not working today. I'm told the oil change will take an hour and a half so I decide to wait. They don't even take my car back for the oil change until an hour and 10min after I've been waiting...it's been an hour and 45min now and I'm still waiting on them to finish the oil change. What's the point of booking an appointment? Firestone online said the store would call if they had questions but I don't know why they didn't call me to let me know that A/C guy wouldn't be working. STAY AWAY! Made a 7 a.m. appointment to have a headlight changed. Was informed an hour later that the technician was "having a problem getting the component out!" At 9 a.m., still not complete. Then informed that the entire battery would have to come out (ABSOLUTELY UNTRUE) and that would be extra labor. Two hours and headlight not replaced. My response, "close it up!" Where is management? Where is the supervisor/lead technician who oversees the jobs in queue and works to manage time efficiently. Why did the technician who was unable to remove the light not ask for help after about 15-20 minutes? This location is in need of training, retraining, supervision, accountability and time management. read more

Having paid for lifetime alignment at FIRESTONE, I thought it prudent to have her take it to have it checked. I knew it was out a little because Firestone adjusted it after an accident a few years ago and said there was no damage but the alignment was slightly off. I started to realized the damage was getting worse. Long story short. I fixed what they said wasn't wrong. Took it fo an alignment and they gave my wife an estimate for $797.20. Noting; The new ball joints were the wrong size. They came preinstalled in the factory replacement control arm. Obviously flagrantly inflated so that nobody in their right mind would agree to the work, so they wouldn't have to waist any time doing work for free. The store manager, Geraldine is AMAZING. I originally got my rear drum brakes replaced at the Highland location where they did them wrong! So after spending $500 on the original job, 3 weeks later I had to take them back to Highland to have them redone because my left rear brake was making a very loud smacking sound. When I asked what happened the associate flat out told me they were done improperly! Well, after 1 week I heard another noise that I thought might have been coming from the rear brake again. So I called & spoke with the manager at Highland where he made an attempt to say the noise wasn't coming from my rear brakes because they just fixed them a second time & tried blaming me for it indirectly over the phone instead of just suggesting I come in. I reached out to corporate, who suggested I go to Madison for a second opinion & I'm so happy I did. I spoke with Geraldine who assured me that her staff would look into it & when they found the problem, she'd have the tech walk me out on the floor & show me what the issue was. It turned out that my right front brake had a pin bent (those were replaced at the Highland location last year w/ no issue) & it was scratching my rotor making the noise. I was fully prepared to pay & I was told because of my awful experience at Highland & having to miss work for a second time it was free of charge. Well, I had to go back again because all of my ABS lights & traction control warning lights came on a few weeks later. So, of course I chose the Madison location with the stellar customer service I received last time. I called & ended up talking to Geraldine again & inquired on a price to check why the lights were on. She said because it was my braking system & I've had issues already they'll check for free & let me know what's going on. They checked & it was my ABS module, which is a very expensive fix. She couldn't tell if the Highland location messed it up, but felt something wasn't right & that it wasn't my fault or normal wear & tear, so she had it ordered & installed completely free of charge because it dealt with my braking system that more than likely stemmed from the awful job at the Highland location. The moral of this INSANELY long review is that if you want to feel valued as a customer & treated with intergrity, honesty & respect please choose this location. My wallet & I are SO happy we were directed to call them after my terrible experience with Highland! read more

Had my car towed here when it suddenly died on me. They wanted $915 for a new timing belt and water pump! Same thing is only $700 in New York!! They charge $115 for the "Diagnostic" and tack that onto the bill! The price at Performance Toyota? $480!!!! Very unhappy. Was taken advantage of because I am a young female that came to the store alone to get my tire patched up from running over a nail earlier on the same day. They told me that they couldn't patch it up because the rain had damaged the inside of my tires too much. If you asked anyone who knew about cars, they could easily tell you that they have never heard of such a thing. They also tried to tell me I needed to buy a new tire, which they quoted a ridiculously high price for their cheapest one. When asked if they could at least temporarily patch it up, they told me they couldn't. I realize that they thought they could get away with this because I am a female that didn't look like she knew anything about cars.
