Earlier this week I took my Ram 2500 in to get the tires rotated. I had just bought them a month ago, but I put a lot of miles on my truck. When I left, maybe a quarter of a mile down the road, a low pressure warning can on. I turned around and headed back to the store. They pulled me right in to fixed the tire. It had an old valve stem buried deep in the tire. The next day I call Clay, the store manager, and told him what happen. Clay told me to give him a day to get a new tire in, and offered to come in early on Saturday morning to replace it. I was back in town just before they closed on Friday evening, so I dropped it off. Deantay is amazing!! i lost my locking lug nut key and unfortunately had a flat. i was able to plug the tire but could not find anyone to help me strip them off. after a month, i found myself at discount tire on airline receiving great, hospitable service. Deantay met me in the parking lot with some tools and within 5 minutes my locking lug nuts were replaced, FREE OF CHARGE!! if it wasn't for his kindness and attentiveness, id be worried about being stranded with a future flat. thank you Deantay!!! read more

My tire pressure light came on. I pulled in and the guy checked my air pressure and said he could take my tire off and if it had a nail in it, he would patch it for free. I didn't even buy my tires there, but they said it's a service that they do. I will be buying future tires from there. What a wonderful service. read more

Was given a price for 4 new tires, mounted, balanced etc and handed over my keys. Left for breakfast and by 9:38 AM I get a text that my vehicle was ready. Not only was the service writer very competent, he didn't try to up-sell me on anything. I was greeted at the door(almost never happens) anywhere these days), I had zero wait at 4pm on a Saturday(1 hour before closing). I had a screw in my tire, and I asked them to fix it--they weren't able to because of where the screw was. Then tHey told me that he couldn't order me a new tire because they don't carry the type on my vehicle. I said "all right thanks anyway." Thinking that I was done, But He said "but since you've got a full size spare, we can mount and balance it for you" I happily agreed. He printed me an invoice--for zero dollars. They provided that service to me for free knowing that they weren't going to even get a tire sale out of me. I appreciate how nice they were. I appreciate how quick they were. I appreciate how clean it was. They were so attentive (to everyone in the building). I'm not sure about their prices, but I will be back, because I'm willing to pay for the level service they provide. read more

These guys are pros!!! I go in on Tuesday with a leaky tire. They access the problem in minutes order a new one, call my insurance and I'm on my way full of air. They call the next day that tire arrived. When I get there the waiting area is full, all bays are full and this place is hopping. I still get greeted with a smile and the guy remembers me and my EV. I am politely told it will be about 45 minutes. I get all comfortable for the wait and ten minutes later my car is out front, guy hands me the keys and thanks for my business. Why can't every business run this smoothly and why can't you get stats while you wait everywhere you have to wait. Gentlemen in red shirts with such courtesy; my heroes! Great bunch in here. So I'm giving it 2 stars, not for the work they do but for there attitude and the GMs attitude. So I get off work at 7 and they close at 6. Why they close at 6? Beats me. So I left early and after fighting traffic I get there at 5:45 to get a patch in my tire. Yeah I get it it's rig before y'all close but my tire was almost flat. While they were patching one tire I asked if they would check the other one because it's been getting low and I've been having to fill it like once a month. When they took it off they said they can't patch it because it's already been patched in a different spot by "someone else". I've only went to discount tire sense I've gotten these abs I used to live in Colorado so it's probably from them. I said okay just slap it back on there then. But when they are working on it the GM comes out and very rudely said "you couldn't of came an hour ago or giving us a phone call or nothing?! It's freaking 6:00" like it's my fault they close so early. And the look I was getting from all the employees made me feel very unwanted. Like there was 3 other cars getting worked on. Not just mine. I've gotten my free 4 tires from them and I'll never use discount tire again. read more

The business is fine, here is what just happened to me. I brought the car in to have the tires balanced and rotated under warranty. They text me within 15 minutes and said that my car was ready for pick up. I looked at all four tires to see if they were rotated, and of course they were not. The service writer told me that the technician said he rotated the tires. The other service writers at the desk said that they saw him rotate the tires. I have one new rim on the front of my vehicle. If they truly rotated the tires, that rim would have been on the rear. It's funny, One of them will lie, and the others try to cover for him. Ridiculous! read more

I visited Metairie, La and was in route back home to Texas. I have been a Discount Tire customer for more than 15 years. I contacted my Discount Tire in Houston TX and advised that my tire needed to be replaced ASAP. I was told the closest location was 54 miles away in Pineville, LA. I called the location and spoke to Assistant Manager Jeremy Borras, gave my location and indicated that I was on the way. My tire was replaced within twenty minutes. The Management and staff were EXCELLENT. The Discount Tire locations Houston TX have always been great. But the entire staff at your Pineville location has exceeded all others. read more

I bought my tires at a Discount Tire in Michigan before I moved to NOLA. I got a flat and came here to have it fixed or replaced. Came to this store, had a great experience. Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Service was expedient. Ended up not costing anything to have the tire patched and tires balanced and rotated - I thought it was free because I bought the tires at another Discount and had the warranty, but they informed me they would do this for others too. If I need new tires or rims in the next couple of years, I will definitely come back to this location. Hopefully even more Discount Tires will come into Louisiana now that this one started the precedent, but for now, I'll make the trip to Prairieville as needed read more

DO NOT waste your time at ChaBill's, Goodyear, or any tire shop. I'm from NOLA and moved to Houston in '06. My former neighbor in Houston manages a Discount Tire in Houston and is a great guy and I went to various Discount Tire shops when I needed any tire services. I purchased tires from ChaBill's recently and had a horrible experience with TPS and an oil change they did and it could've damaged my engine. I moved back in '15 and so glad DT is here in Louisiana!! The entire staff at this location is great, friendly, and they are serious about providing you top notch service. They will match any competitors rates!!! They want long term customers and I'm one that will never go anywhere else. read more

This location and specifically, Justin, Andrew, & Robert, were not only extremely knowledgeable and helpful but also went above and beyond the typical level of service. My girlfriend and I were traveling from Arizona to Florida and caught a nail in our back tire. Not a difficult fix but the only place nearby was a chevy dealer off the I-10 East. After pulling off and having the Chevy dealer take 4 hours to "fix" the nail we continued on our way. After .25 of a mile and just as we pulled onto the onramp in front of the Chevy dealer the repaired tire blew out and went flat. I called the Chevy dealer that I had just left 2 min prior and was told that unfortunately, their service center had just closed at 5 pm and that no one was available to talk to me. I asked to speak to a manager and was then hung up on. I called back and then was told to wait on hold... It then went to voicemail. Calling back several more times, I was finally told that the manager had left for the day and that they would call me in the morning... still waiting for a call. After this, we called the nearest and consequently the only Discount tire location in LA and asked for assistance, after a brief conversation they agreed to stay open late so that I could hobble over to their location and get a new tire. It was nearly 6 pm and we were 18 miles from them on a spare... The only problem was that an accident occurred between us and them and ended up taking us over an hour to get to them. When we arrived we were welcomed by Robert who knew we'd been through the ringer and told us that he would get us fixed up and back on the road. It was one of the most friendly and understanding interactions I've ever had. During the install, he talked with us and brightened up our day, helping to make us laugh and break up the tension of keeping them late for the day. In the end, they fixed our tire correctly and were extremely friendly, professional, and kind. I will continue to buy my tires from their company and recommend everyone do the same. Just went with my son to get a set of tires for his truck. The people were so nice and professional. They met us in the parking lot and we talked about what we needed and then went inside to pick the tires and pay. The price was the cheapest around. And within 30 min we were out of there with 4 new tires mounted and balanced. The floor workers looked like a pit crew. And it was all being supervised.
