Discount tire rocks! I've had a nail in my tire twice and they've fixed both free of cost. They also do free tire air pressure checks and fill the air for you. I went in today and a worker told me my front two tires really needed to be replaced. I asked him about my back ones and he said they're okay for now but he's worried about the front ones. A lesser salesman would've told me my back tires needed replacing for the extra sale, and as a young woman that happens a lot where they try to upcharge me. They didn't try to add anything, and I appreciated the honesty and went ahead with them to get new front tires. Service is very speedy and the waiting room has comfortable seating while you wait. Always a solid experience! I've been visiting this location almost since they opened. The manager is consistently friendly and the staff is simply stellar. A high tech gadget, aka, a digital tire tread scanner, shows the techs exactly where your tread depth currently stands. They simply run it over the tires and beep boop beep, they've got an accurate reading. It takes all of the guesswork out of the equation and ensures a more complete picture of your tire life. The techs then refer to the large in-store guide, explaining their recommendations in detail. This visit, I popped in for a rotation. As a rideshare driver, I have the need for new tires far more often than Sunday drivers. I utilize their sister company, Tire Rack, find the most economical deal for my vehicle. I then have them sent directly to Discount Tire, who notifies me when they've arrived. I can either schedule an installation appointment - or just drop by. My experience here has been that they usually underpromise and overdeliver, especially when it comes to estimating how long I'll be waiting. On one hand, I understand how a system can be inaccurate and mix up things including store inventories. That said, there's no excuse for me, the customer to be correct on the location of my ordered tire, and for you all to not check around your store to make sure that my order is there. If a customer shows up, give them the benefit of the doubt, rather than telling them the tire is at another location. I drove because I didn't want to wait any longer and because I had faith that my tire was where it was said to be, just to realize it was at the original location the whole time and sending it right after you realized so you didn't have to have a confrontation. I will not return to this location unless absolutely necessary. Learn to take initiative and double check next time. read more

It has been a week of dealing with this location, and honestly it has been nothing but a headache. I rarely leave reviews, and almost never bad ones, but this whole situation has been ridiculous. I've always liked Discount Tire, but this location is not it. We got new tires and they went flat two days later. Annoying, but not a big deal stuff happens. What turned it into a nightmare was the manager. He just doesn't do his job. I talked to him twice and he promised he'd communicate with the other store we had to tow the car to, and he said he would check in on us as well since the tires were bought at his store. But when we showed up to the other store, they had no idea what was going on because nothing was ever passed along. When we tried again to finally get it resolved after everything had been ordered, he told me on the phone everything would be taken care of. My partner showed up and, once again, no one there knew anything. My partner ended up sitting around for about 5 hours while the store tried over and over to get ahold of the St. Peters manager, who never picked up. In the end, we had to go through corporate just to get the issue worked out. That says it all. The manager doesn't follow through, he doesn't communicate on time, and he wasted hours of my life. If you promise a customer something, you follow through immediately. That's the bare minimum, and this manager couldn't even do that read more

They did a great job installing my tires a couple years ago(and at an affordable price). I have came back for the complimentary tire rotations a few times but I think my most recent visit has made this the last. A tire rotation(with an appointment) should not take long but every time I wait for 1-2 hours. This most recent visit I asked them to keep the tire pressure where I wanted it as it was very cold out and a snowstorm was coming. Well, I drove home with a very bumpy ride to discover 3 tires were inflated 4# over the recommended PSI(6# over what I wanted) and 1 tire was well below. I could have taken my vehicle back but I had waited long enough and was just tired of wasting my time. I think I'll just pay elsewhere next time. I purchased 4 new tires for my Honda CRV last Fall. Good price and service. However have a complaint ...and it is a BIG one. Apparently the tires were not "round"! Our car differential system kept reporting an "AWD System Problem" alert. We went to the dealership 3 times and spend $3000 trying to fix this. The 4th time...this last week...we were told we would have to pay $4500 to completely replace the differential. We took the car to another dealership...after a test drive, we were told the problem was simple....the tires were not "round". Replace the tires and we would have no more problems! While we saved about 15% on our tires buying from DTA, we spent $3000 in unnecessary repairs and potentially would have spend another $4500! Continue to great service and pricing, but sell ROUND tires! read more

Less than 2 weeks ago, I had a very low tire and another shop recommended I try Discount Tire. I drove straight there without an appointment first thing in the morning and they took care of me right away. There was a nail in my tire and all of my tires really needed to be replaced, so I went ahead and purchased 4 new Michelin all season tires. I would like to note that they did NOT try to upsell me and were initially only recommending replacing the back two tires and when I asked about replacing all four they gave me a great deal. I found out that all of their technicians are in training and have relocated from other DT locations in Texas and California. They are a welcome addition to the community! I wish I would've taken more photos, because there are two long counter height tables & chairs with electrical outlets at each seat so you can work/surf the internet while you wait. They offer free Wi-Fi, however, it was not working on either of my visits. They also have a mini fridge with bottled water for customers. I was very happy with the service I received - everyone was very friendly and helpful! Fast forward to this morning when the tire in the same location was flat. My new tire was flat! I took it in and they saw me within 15 minutes and found yet another nail! Tires were under warranty so they fixed it for free and I was on my way. Fingers crossed I don't run into any more nails. I went to this place for 4 new tires for my vehicle. Had wanted a specific make and model which is advertised. on their web site. The salesperson advised that they did not have the tires in stock but would have the tires delivered to this location from another store. After an unacceptable time, the tires were never delivered to this location. This company appears to advertise product that they so not have in inventory. My husband and I have been returning customers since moving to St. Charles, and have nothing but great things to say about the staff at this location and their service! They have always gotten us in, in and out in a timely manner, and practiced the most professional customer service. They are patient with customers, communicate effectively, and are HONEST! I bought a new set of tires for my car about 4 months ago. I made an appointment and It was a very simplex process! This morning I woke up to a completely flat tire. So I filled it up with air and drove to Discount Tire to see what the issue was with it. When I got there I was immediately greeted and I told them about my issue. They had their team look at my tire and apparently I had a huge piece of metal stuck in it. They worked on it about 30mins and were able to get it fixed for me. When I asked how much I owed for the repair they said, "There is no cost sir." I was kind of flabbergasted and I said, "No cost?" He said, "Yes, sir! There is no cost for the repair." I was kind of stunned. He then handed me my keys and smiled then said, "Have a great day." I am the unluckiest person when it comes to tires and I have been to several of their competitors over the years. Discount Tire will be my goto spot for all my tire needs in the future. read more
