I visited the Tyler store near the new tollway on a Saturday around 2. I had a SLOW leak in a front tire I needed fixed. Meanwhile I placed an order for four duplicate tires and was told it would be Thursday likely to get them on. Shortly I was told my leak was actually a slit so not reparable. I told the tech I had to drive quite a ways on it and asked if it was safe. Keep in mind my car is front wheel drive. He told me yes. Well, by the time I drove the 30 minutes home it had lost 12 lbs of air. I aired it up but it was flat the next morning. My slow leak had turned into a fast one and I imagine they made it this way when they tried to repair it. I had to have new tires put on closer to home therefore and cancel my tire order with them. I was able to order from Walmart on a Sunday the same tires and get them installed on Monday. Price was slightly less. It wasn't as quick but at least I didn't have to drive on a flat. Shame on the tech for sending me off on an unsafe front tire on a front wheel drive car. read more

I have a 2016 Mazda Miata I have had approximately 2 years with approximately 34, 0000 miles now. I got to Discount Tires on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 5:35 pm and they close at 6pm and pushing for time......... I asked if they can just check my tire pressure and tread on my tires and I can bring my car in on Saturday if needs replacement. I was told my tire had a nail in it and showed how much tread left from their tire diagram. The service person gave his recommendation and I trust his tire knowledge. I thought I was going to have to come back later, since it was closing time. I got 4 PZERO All Season Plus tires... Cost was $130 per tire with taxes and the service that includes free tire rotation and free tire replacement added up to $730. I was eligible for a 60 mail in rebate as well. They replaced all four tires in 15 minutes. I left at 6:17 pm.. Thank you! Thank you! Discount Tire. I am grateful for your service, professionalism and most importantly, for thinking of Safety First. You have an Awesome Crew! .. I'm out of town from Houston. Nail in the tire. Discount Tire provided the absolute best experience I could've asked for. Fixed faster than expected. Comfy chairs. Clean bathrooms. Fresh coffee. And after everything it was free. They helped me for FREE. I'll need new tires soon and I'll go to my local discount tire after this. read more

The customer service was good after a long and frustrating day of mechanic run around for a wheel and tire replacement. They gave me a good deal on the wheel for my car which was 65.00. The only 2 things that I did not like was the aggressiveness of them wanting you to spend more money than what you actually came in for, and the 20.00 hold they put on your debit card if they order you a part. I like the fact they put air in all my four tires for FREE! When I went to pick up the wheel that I've order. I was told that I had to pay for shipping and handling and that the part would cost 80 something dollars and I was quoted 65.00. They took the shipping and handling off and it was fine after that. read more

I'm on my 3rd set of Mich Latitudes on my Ford Edge with 183,000 miles from Discount Tire. They have rotated the tires for free every 5,000 miles and I've never gotten less than 60,000 miles out of a set. We make an appointment online and are never there more than 30 minutes. The quality of the product and service they provide is tough to beat in this day and age. read more

As I always go to this store, today I went there, but this time it was for wheels for my wife's VW Jetta. I go to this store for customer service alone! It is always the best, whether I go or my wife or my daughter. They treat them with respect and do not take advantage of them, like other stores did in the past, before we started coming here. Do not go here. I have been long time customer and recently brought my wife's vehicle with nail in one tire into shop on S. Broaday. I was told by sales guy that it could not be patched and needed new tire. He then went on to say that sense it was an all wheel drive Mercedes that I may need all 4 new tires... seriously. The vehicle only has 8,000 miles on it. Needless to say , I left and brought the vehicle down the street to Bill Day Day Tire where the tire was easily patched (for free) and was told there was no problem in the repairing where the nail was. I think I was profiled for driving a high end vehicle by the sales rep. Completely dishonest in my opinion. read more

I've spent 10s of thousands of dollars at discount tire. Two weeks ago I ordered rims 983$ is what I was quoted in odessa with two warranty tires. Got to tyler today and somehow it turned out to be almost 1600 with my 100 dollar depsosit. Adam said he wouldn't warranty one tire even though oddessa said they would. When I asked him about my business with them he could've cared less about my business and with no concern for customer satisfaction. I told him I had another 1500$ worth of tires in the back to check and see if they are in for another one of my trucks and he said yes. I told him if he wasn't going to warranty the tire of my to cancel that order and send them back. He shrugged his shoulders as if he could give two shits less about my business. That 1500$ order is going to bill day tire in tyler and all my other business will too. Horrible customer service by Adam. Taylor seemed to work well and was very nice and cooperative with me. read more
