Came here desperate as we were leaving for a road trip and one of my tires was low. They have used tires starting at 25+. I used to recommend this place to people. However, business has gone down hill. Pros: You can get used tires for 20.00 - 25.00 which is cheap, and the workers are usually really fast. Cons: The workers haven't been very friendly the past few times I've went. The last time I went one of the workers kept calling me beautiful which was really creepy and very unprofessional. Another thing is that they don't always have the right size tires that you might need. Also, a few different times after I got a tire replaced there, I later noticed that they didn't replace the air cap on the tire causing the tire to go flat. Speaking of unprofessional, the inside office is full of inapropriate signs. They also have pictures of the workers with girls dressed up in stripper gear posing outside of the garage. Lol. I can't really consider this a pro or con because it really doesn't bother me. I actually think it's kind of funny, but I can see it offending some people and it isn't professional. I'm frankly tired of dealing with them, so I'm just opting on buying new tires soon. read more

Very fast service. They had my spare tire off and used tire mounted and balanced in 10 minutes (no other customers were there when I arrived). Friendly staff. Prices depend on the size tire you need and the amount of tread desired. My tire is a 215/55R17 and my other tires have about 30-40% tread left. I got a less expensive Bridgestone because it matched my other tires tread best. I was out the door for $43.00. That's spare tire off, used tire mounted and balanced, old tire disposed of and tax. ($5 for balancing well with it) All tires have a 30 day grantee. There was no up selling. No "You should get the tire with more tread". No "You need all new tires". No "Your rotors look bad, I can do them for X-$$". I needed one decent used tire and these guys hooked it up fast and affordable. read more

Went here for a set of four used tires, in a bind couldn't afford new. Service was good getting to my car right away and they tried to find a decent set that matched even at $25 a tire. Installation on the other hand was pretty bad. The installer snapped two lug nuts and then advised me to go to Smiths Muffler to get fixed. I followed their advice and that ended up being $343 estimated to repair. As I sit here typing this, my car is still at Smiths Muffler and I borrowed a car to get to work tomorrow. I could have had a set of new tires from Tire Discounters by the end if this day with just the amount in repairs. Needless to say I'm following up to have my repairs refunded by this company. read more

Very uncomfortable interaction. Was told " You probably hit something!" "Just leave and get out of here!" I went to Quality Tires to replace two of my front tires because the treading was getting bad. I wanted to wait until December before I Invested money into all new tires. Used tires were my solution. The service was fair when I went, after I got there 3 other cars came right after so I didn't get speedy service like other reviews I read. No big deal. Today is 7 days after I purchased the tires and last night the front right blew out while I was on the highway driving in the rain. I had a spare, my boyfriend went to change it and couldn't get the nut off the tire because it was TOO tight. The nuts and bolts on my back tires loosened with minimum effort but the front two wouldn't budge with extreme. We had to spend $70 for a tow trunk company to come out and get it off because we needed a heavier duty lug ranch and tool bar. Tow trunk man also struggled to get tire off, and discovered a bolt was stripped from being over tightened. Today I went back to Quality Tire, explained what happened and was informed by a man out front that they had a 30 warranty and could replace my tires that blew out. He was very friendly. Still out $70 dollars but i'll take it. After he finished, he told me to take my receipt inside and show another man to finish the process. When I went inside, a man without greeting me rambled off a price. "I'm getting a replacement." I told him. He froze, started at me angrily and yelled at the man outside, who had just put my tire on. " Why didn't you tell me this was a replacement?" Then they started arguing, while I'm standing there timid, uncomfortable, WISHING I was out of that place! "What do you want me to do?" I asked finally interrupting the heated argument. The man at the front desk threw the paper receipt and started to move away from the desk. "Do I get a receipt for this one?" I asked.He continued to walk away and yelled "you probably hit something!" "Just leave and get out of here!" WOW!!!!! He completely talked to me like I wasn't human and didn't deserve respect. He was aggressive, didn't make eye contact and honestly I was too afraid to respond. I don't know if he felt like my female gender and NKU sweatshirt implied that it was okay to disrespect me without repercussions, but he did. VERY VERY uncomfortable experience. I had to go through crap because they put the nuts back on my tires too tight and he yelled at ME! I believe you should avoid this tire shop and somewhere else where there is a standard in place and procedure on how to deal with customers. Grown men, have no excuse for not checking their feelings and dealing with their anger. I shouldn't have felt his lash. Waving me away with his hand and then "yelling at me to "just leave" is disrespectful and demeaning. I love supporting local business. It hurts my feelings that there is no one above him that I can inform. He needs training in customer service before he interacts with another customer. I called Quality Tire after calling several places looking for a decent price on some used tires. I'm a single mom so i couldn't afford some of the outrageous prices some places wanted for used tires, and some other places were just so rude when I called that it was ridiculous. The man I spoke to on the phone was incredibly nice and even though I showed up later then he asked me too because I was running behind, he was still kind when we showed up. They got us straight, informed me of what he was doing and everything. When he was finished he pulled my van out for me and when we checked out the price was exactly what he quoted me on the phone.
