I was an out-of-towner visiting a friend over the New Year's Holiday, and I was quoted $40.47 to repair a slow leak in one of my tires. While I was relieved that they could repair the tire, I was perturbed when I was presented with the final bill in the amount of $45.47 (a 13% increase). I was told that the discrepancy was due to "shop supplies" (what a scam!) and Ohio sales tax. Why didn't the technician just quote me $45.47 to begin with?! My rental car had a leaking tire and I needed it fixed quickly for work. I called late on a Saturday knowing Firestone was one of the only auto shops open on Sunday. Marius was very helpful and managed to squeeze me in despite having only 2 workers for the day. When I arrived, his crew was out helping a customer whose car had broken down. Despite the set back, he had a new tire on my car in a few hours and I was able to get back on the road! Great customer service, they truly went the extra mile for me. read more

I normally don't go to Firestone for auto repairs as I prefer another shop that I frequent, but they were closed for the evening. Needed a power steering belt changed on my sons Scion. I dropped it off around 4pm and they said it should be done by by 6pm... sadly they found issues and needed to wait till morning. In the morning I was told the A/C pump was bad. So needless to say my car didn't get fixed. But why the 4 stars then. Well a) then didn't charge me a dime to look my car over, and b) they were very polite and helpful. I went here for the first time to get a full check up that was for $10. I'm not a car person, don't know a lot of terminology and he likes. So when they came back with the report, Alex did very well with taking his time to explain what was going on and answer my questions. I didn't feel the need to pretend to understand since he had such a great attitude about it. He was also super patient with me when going through pricing of services (what's priority vs. What can wait for a little bit). I spent a whole day here (got there at 9:50 finished around a little after 6 pm?) which is the only reason for a docked star. It wasn't a huge deal for me, since (I can't figure out how to spell his name, but it begins with a M...I think) a worker offered to drive me somewhere to keep me entertained/ensure didn't have to wait in the shop, I did take the offer. It was ultimately my choice to wait for the car, and I'm not sure if it really could have gone quicker, but it would have been nice. Also, I had a old 2002 car, so it was a surprise to hear there were issues lol. Anyhow, I am believing they did their best with it being packed in the garage. Still putting this here because I know someone be upset about this. Overall, I valued the friendly, patient, and helpful attitudes a lot. So despite the wait, I'd definitely come back. I don't know why this place has only a 3 star rating. The people I came in contact with are all professionals and strive to serve their customers well. Before I purchased my current car that came with complementary dealership maintenance package, I've always taken my old car (a 07 G35) here for maintenance both major and minor. Admittedly, their service speed is not as fast as, say, Jiffy Lube or Valvoline, the quality and prices are both first rate. Most recently, as my dealership told me that my upcoming 60k maintenance will cost $1,000, I decided to give Firestone a call for an estimate. The quote they gave me came in at less than 1/3 of what the dealership quoted me. They even gave me an itemized list of what services they will provide per the manufacturer's maintenance schedule, and they thought what the dealership quoted as basically exploitative. In any case, it looks like I'll be taking my business back to Firestone for the foreseeable future. read more

Twice this Firestone location tried to scam and rip me off. First time they said I needed new brakes and rotors for $700 which I didn't. They lasted me an additional 2 years. Second time was an alternator which they original quoted me $675 and then later told me it will be $1000.00 for just an alternator. I said what happened to the original quote. The guy just kept adding more additional costs like for testing of the battery and alternator even though I was going to have them do the work. They also tried to scam me once again about the brakes and rotors for a cost of $700. By then I did need the brakes but not the rotors. I took it to another garage and they said my rotors are fine and charged me $200 for the breaks and only $600 for the Alternator. Beware of this place. They try to add unnecessary charges and make you pay for something you don't need. read more

They over-torqued my lug bolts on BMW, causing one to brake while driving. The Manager lied straight to me saying he got the lugs off easily and then even accused me of breaking the lug! Absurd, rude, unprofessional and offensive that he would accuse the customer, especially after a different employee agreed it was the cause. They have lost a loyal customer read more

I recently took my car here because the check engine light came on when I was in town visiting family. I was given an estimate of over $900 which included an oil change (had just been done about a month ago), replacement of a belt (had just been replaced 3 weeks prior), tire rotation, etc. Once I got the mechanic to tell me what I actually needed to have done to the car it was still around $700. I paid for the diagnostics and drove my car back home (it did fine!) to my mechanic. The total was $20--all they had to do was tighten the belt that they had put on a few weeks before. This place totally took advantage of the fact that I was from out of town and told me I had to have a ton of work done on my car. Glad I had the sense to take it to my trusted mechanic. read more

I wish I could give this location a negative rating. Firestone should be ashamed to have their brand being represented by these people. I had repairs done one week ago on 3 tires and within 7 days the low pressure light was on again. I called to get the car back in as I had just paid over $200 to have fixed. Justin handled the call and I made an appointment for 1:00 the next day to have it looked at. When my husband dropped it off, he was told it would be two hours before it could be looked at and that I had been told that. That is not true. I was told that it would be two hours if I had brought it in the day of. I had made an appointment for a reason. So four hours later I was told by Mario that my car needed a two new tires because I had metal in one of them that could not be repaired. I should also think about replacing all four. These are 70,00 mile tires purchased from them and I am 40,000 miles in. This is a total scam. Obviously the leak was there last week and they didn't fix it and claimed it was other items that needed fixed. I have no idea if what was wrong last week was even true. This is the source of the leak. Now he's telling me his tires don't even last. I am so disappointed in Firestone and this center. I will never come here again. I will post everywhere to save your time and money and go to a competitor of theirs. I asked for a district manager's name and didn't receive it. I will be attempting to get it tomorrow. I hope they are reading this though and know how thoroughly upset they have made a customer. I can purchase tires anywhere. I will never choose Firestone again. I hope Firestone sees this as well. I had my tires rotated 10 days, 105 miles ago and today noticed a thud thud noise. Brought my '06 Explorer back to the Firestone on Kingsland Dr in West Chester Ohio to discover all 5 lugs on one tire were lose. WOW....glad I was not on the highway. This is the 4th time lugs have been lose on 3 different cars over the past 1-2 years at the same Firestone. After arguing with the store manager James Cunningham for about 30 min trying to get him to recognize that it could have been the technician error, he insisted it was not the service tech error but due to issues with my car (worn threads, bent spindle, maybe someone tried to steal the tire). REALLY!!!!!! First of all, all 5 lugs on 1 tire would not become that lose in 105 miles of neighborhood driving. Secondly this was the 4th time this has happened on 3 cars in the past couple years. If he is really that dug in that it was not due to his service techs, I am really concerned about him not taking action to correct the problems in the shop and the future potential danger with future tire rotations. On November 12, 2021 we had a flat tire repaired. While picking up our truck, a canopy which was set up for a special Firestone event, blew into and over our truck, which an employee had parked on the side of the building, damaging the truck in many spots on the body and, also, causing minor damage to the cover on the truck. We have been trying to get paid for the damage so we can get the truck repaired since the incidence occurred. After getting no assistance to submit our repair shop estimate, and frankly excuses such as someone at the regional office is in a meeting, the person who can help is traveling, someone is on COVID lockdown, etc. we finally emailed our estimate to an employee via his personal email address on January 5, 2022. At one point someone actually told me that we wouldn't want to have it repaired in the winter anyway, implying that it was not a high-priority matter for Firestone. After providing the estimate I went into the store again to talk to the manager, in person to no avail. The last correspondence was a voicemail from Firestone Claims on February 11, 2022. He said he was trying to get with the repair shop to understand the estimate. I just called the store again today on April 18, 2022 and spoke with Aaron. At first he said the claim was being worked and had been escalated. Then he looked at the case and said that it had been closed but would be reopened if the repair shop or truck owner called. No one told us it was closed! He said he would find what number I needed to call to get it reopened and call me back. He hasn't done so yet. He implied that they don't want to pay because they think the estimate is high. It did minor damage in many places around the truck and the bed even has to be removed to fix it. We didn't even ask for compensation for the cover. I don't recommend any Firestone or Bridgestone products or services. Over 5 months is ridiculous. read more

Damaged my car. Worst place ever I recently took my car for tire balance. It took longer than expected i was in the store. I looked at my car no one was working on it. After a while, cashier comes and tells me the stud is broken ( Stud is a metal rod 5 or 6 of them sticking out of the wheel where u insert tire and screw the log nuts) and it is gonna cost me $100 if i want to fix it. They said they didn't break the stud. How the hell log nut was screwed if the stud was broken before i got there. The stud was not broken before i got there , they broke it how can they expect me to pay for it? The worst part was manager giving me attitude when i called them idiots. Of course I am gonna be pissed because All they had to do was balance my tire but these Stupid ass Mofos broke my car i had to take my car to dealership and get it fixed.
