GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR IN WRITING! Guy told me word of mouth while we made the deal in person $150 for 100 patches and 50 American Flags. Remember this fact please. The owner is rude. No professionalism over the phone, but shows more in person. Placed an order of patches that took 3 months to come in when initially that time frame was never said. I was expected to wait a month & a half or 2 months as said initially. He doesn't check on your order after you pay, I called him 1 once every 2 weeks to check in and he always had an attitude saying maybe next week or 2. I wait, then same answer after AGAIN. I get there to pickup finally and he's trying to promote me to buy some more items and when I say dude I already waited 3 months for the patches I'm going to take my money elsewhere for the uniform work the look on his face could tell it all he was upset. He thanked us for our patience then immediately spoke in Spanish for the worker to grab the receipt from the back. She comes back and he hands it to me and the only thing on the receipt is just $100 patches and he looks at me with this smug look like checkmate. No issue it's just $50 we got money. But real douchebag move, he says one thing and doesn't write it down so it's your word vs his record that he made up, not what you spoke about. This place has just about everything you could need for work if you're a first responder. The only thing that gives this place 2 stars is the owner. Mannnnnn, that guy is brutal to his employees. I was looking for something and the employee who helping me kept asking other employees for help locate the item. He kept apologizing that he couldn't find the items quickly. I asked the guy if he was new. He said yes it's my second day. I told him it's okay in due time you'll know the store in and out. I'm just about done. Last thing I needed was requested. The owner sees the guy still helping me and say what's taking so long. The line is growing. Employee states he can't locate my last item. The owner snaps and began belittling the employee. This place GETS THE JOB DONE. The owner William is a gruff, tough, no nonsense kind of guy. He may come off sounding a bit harsh at first, but once you start working with the guy, you realize that he has his whole heart into the reputation of his business. He takes his company name very seriously, which is a rare quality. He and his staff under-promised and over-delivered. My Police Academy uniforms were ready EXACTLY when they said they would be, both the classroom uniforms and the p/t gear (which had to be ordered seperately through no fault of Discount). His right hand lady was a joy with which to work and remembered me each time that I came in, in spite of seeing hundreds of customers a day. The owner is blatantly racist. My husband called up to the store for a specialty item. The owner confirmed product availability and agreed on a price over the phone. After driving 45 minutes to get to the store the owner took one look at my husband and said he didn't have such an item and hadn't had the conversation. Today he sized my husband up and loudly announced he would be changing same day order policies. We were there for a same day order of course. I visited this establishment and in spite of what was written in yelp reviews (negative comments) I decided to try them out. I asked to see some holsters and the brand that I was presented was fairly pricey so I asked did he have any other brands he says for my type of weapon no and when I said well I'm not going to get the brand here I've seen it somewhere else a bit less expensive he slams my weapon down on the counter and said okay goodbye! I then say well sir I would like to purchase a duty belt and he says well I'll get someone else to help you. Horrible customer service! Although this place has the supplies any officer may need, they are not accountable for mistakes made on behalf of the staff. William is arrogant, speaks to customers in an aggressive tone and over talks the customer. When a mistake is made William is completely on the defense. In addition to my own failed order, as I waited to be serviced I witness William talk down to 2 Hispanic customers literally calling them a liar. The stress customer's encounter is not worth the service. If you place an order I would recommend providing a copy of the request and have the associate sign, ALWAYS have your receipt handy and have the associate sign off on your order to confirm. The business seems ok at first. Like most businesses, they are all smiles when you purchase something. However, if there is an issue with your purchase. This is when they show their true colors! I purchased boots from this place a number of times & never had any problems prior. I would up buying a pair of boots here & tried them on in the store & they felt fine. I also tried the boots on once more when I arrived home & the shoes again felt fine. Well apparently there must have been some type of defect with this boot because despite them fitting me. Something structurally was off about the shoe & was causing me pain on the top of my foot. I called the store & spoke with a piece of sh** manager named William. He told me to bring the shoes in & he would take a look at them. When I got to the store his chief concern was that if he gave me a refund that he would be out of 80.00. That's all he cared about. He also tried to blame me by insisting I bought the wrong shoe size which I didn't. He also was dismissive of my trying the boots on before I left the store & again when I arrived home. William was extremely rude & didn't listen to my concern at all. He agreed to give me a credit, but then said I talked myself out of the credit because I wouldn't go along with his fabricated story of me purchasing the wrong size shoe. I would recommend that people stay away from this place, & go to Lawmans uniform store located 5814 Millwee street if they want to experience competitive pricing & great customer service! I assure you the only reason this place has stayed in business is because Security officers & Police officers have no choice but to buy their uniforms & equipment from here.
