My misinformed experience at this shop began Friday October 25,2019. I walked into the shop somewhere around 4pm and ask the employee, if they had any dry herb vaporizer's. He then proceeds to show me the Gpen nova and the Atmos jump. I was dashing at the moment and just received an order, so I decided to think about the two some more as I attend to my dash. I then returned back to the store around 9:30pm after my dasher schedule had come to an end for the night and purchased the gpen nova *( FYI this is not the same employee that first guided me to the nova)*. Excited about my new purchase, I wasted no time and unboxed it right there in the lot. I threw the pen on the charge and begin reading the shortest manual I've ever read. The manual reads " instructions for use: Step 3. Remove mouthpiece from tank and use tool attachment to load CONCENTRATES* into chamber. * THE G PEN NOVA IS INTENDED FOR USE WITH CONCENTRATES ONLY", clearly stated in the manual. I walk back into the shop and tell the guy at the counter this manual say CONCENTRATES only, he tells me "it's good for both, dry herb and concentrates". Being that I'm new to herb vaporizing, I figured the employee knows his shit right? Fast forward, I try a small amount of herb and the shit would not work. I bring it in to the shop the next morning October 26, 2019, I explain my situation to an employee who greeted me but I feel like he's the shop owner (unimportant detail). He also tells me that the G Pen Nova is both dry herb and Concentrates, interesting, THREE different individuals within this establishment are misleading a customer like this... I knew I wouldn't be able to return this pen since I attempted to use it, but as a shop y'all fucked up, point blank. I was guided to this product by your air quote trained and skilled employees. The shop should've just taken that loss, because Their Product Knowledge wasn't up to par and unintentionally sold me the wrong product. Great selection to choose from and quick delivery, its a shame their return policy is only 5 days from the time you recieve it which may include a restocking fee. I've looked at several different sites, all of which have a 30 day return policy with 100% money back. I bought my pen as a gift so had to wait until I saw my friend, they tried it, but the cartidge they used was too big. By that point it was 11 days since I recieved the pen, I reached out to Discount Vape Pen to ask for the RA number to return it, but was told I'm no longer able to return it since it has been more than 5 days. I was contacted by Mark, the owner, a few days after posting my review. He apologized and made an offer to correct the situation. I no longer had the part in question so he instead offered me a discount on a new juice. I went to the shop today and met with the other owner, whose name is escaping me at the moment, and they followed through on their promise. I picked up a new juice, was given a free small bottle so I could try something new and was also give 2 entries into a raffle they are currently running for a Smok Alien 220 kit with all kinds of extra's. Would really be nice to win that. Overall, very satisfied with the service and their willingness to correct a mistake. I will shop there again when looking for new juice or coils. read more
