The children always appeared to be learning and happy. When my grandson was able to talk, he would always come home talking about his day at school. I am very please with his progress and I am happy to say he is doing very well at Providence St. Mel. I honestly believe its because my baby was well prepared at Serendipity, for grade school. She leans on policy and punitive measures rather than developing intelligent, active, curious children. She hands out $20 late-fee notices down pick up line if you're a minute late. She hands out incident reports for every single interaction your toddler has that is negative. Pinching a teacher. Pouting and not listening. Blowing raspberries. Our kid was two. We don't need paperwork because she blew raspberries. Needless to say, we didn't make it through the school year. They're uneducated in childhood development and would rather place blame around, particularly on the children, than work with families to develop healthy kids. Do not go here!

My two infants began there in august of 2019. The staff gave me a hard time from the moment school…read morestarted at the end of August. A lady named Lisa sent 1 of my children home almost every day, which in turn means both would leave because they are twins, however the center is filing to get paid for the full month. In September, my children only attended for 10 days and was sent home the other 10 days. In October, my children only attended 8 days. At times, they were teething, so they sent 1 home, so both would be taken back home. Staff would take the child's temp while still in coat and hat, still in car seat, say the temperature is 99.0, so baby has a fever so he cant stay. I do not like the way I would find my children in high chairs sleep, so I asked the staff "do yall sleep sitting up"? The center is understaffed and small. The experience that I had with this this care was close to horrible. I thought when I put my boys there, that it would be a great experience, yet it wasn't. They dont supply anything, food or diapers. I found other children with my babies bibs on. I do recommend this center ever! My children attended from August to November 2019. I hate it there. Ms Griffin had a bad attitude and to told my children need a fifth of liquor each, wow wtf! I called the director about her comment, so the next day she said she'd stay proffessional and she did apologize, however I pretty sure she only apologized because her superiors told her too. tuh, the nerve of people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY AND/OR THEIR ASSOCIATES.
