I brought it in, thinking I might have altered a setting, but it turned out there was a technical issue with the laptop. Tristan reached out to discuss my options and is currently arranging for a replacement unit in space gray, as they only had rose gold in stock. I am extremely satisfied with the service. This is how business should be conducted--standing by products and honoring warranties. I wish more companies operated like this. Tristan truly is the best.

It's a glorified drop off location. They have no FedEx labels, no FedEx air bills for you to fill out in the event that you have a FedEx account. Fedex needs to take them off their map as far as an inside location with staff positions. The staff offered me no solutions. As I read other reviews of the printing/shipping area, it appears they lack either training or the ability to assist.

All still run flawlessly, though obviously the technology has passed them by. You get a clean install of Windows with no bloatware or OEM "enhancements." You can get something for less at a big box store, but you get what you pay for.

Upon walking in it took them a minute, but somebody finally asked if we needed some help. As we were talking to the lady employee about which laptop to purchase, another person randomly comes up and starts talking to the lady employee who was talking to us clearly. She continued to address the man as if we did not exist right there. It was really offensive and we end up walking away and looking at the computers ourselves. After some time went by we decided to walk out because the customer service was just absolutely dismissive. We end up leaving, but then I felt convicted because I couldn't let that type of customer "no" service slide. I end up going back in asking for a manager, and the manager told me that the person who disrespectfully inserted himself is a vendor with another company. The Best Buy managers name is Tia (who I talked to) and the vendors name is Milo. The manager said that she would have a talk with upper management to let them about the situation however I have gotten no follow up or anything! Honestly seemed like it was a way to dismiss me, because there was no additional action. No getting my contact information or anything. This place definitely needs help in the customer service department in my opinion. I see now why those reviews are rated low.

After shutting it down, it would no longer turn on. I had voided my warranty by opening it and wanted to take it somewhere that would not be crazy expensive but still good service. Anyway, their old location, "Laptops of Houston," had great reviews so I brought it here on a Friday. I asked them if it was the same staff and they said yes. It was $25 for them to take a look/diagnostic at my laptop. They were honest and said there was a good chance the damage may have gone to the motherboard. They told me they would give me a call on Monday. They did call me on Monday and said it was ready for pick up. They got my laptop up and running with a working mouse pad as well. I was so happy because I have had this laptop less than a year and I really needed it for school. It was $125 and their service was excellent.
