Black Truffle Pasta Purseittes from Animators Palate.

I may be a major Disneyland geek, but I was skeptic that the magic could be replicated at sea. I'll tell ya, I'm glad I was pushed to take this cruise as by the end I couldn't wait to experience it all again. Service is key is on Disney Cruise Line and they have it mastered. Here are few examples. 1) Every single staff member interacted with us throughout the ship. What I loved was when they said hi they first greeted our child (usually with a compliment on her outfit) before they greeted us. 2) When we were all experiencing sea sickness due to a storm their staff not only provided us with complimentary Dramamine, they gave our daughter a nice stuffed animal that became her new best friend during the entire trip. 3) Characters remembered our daughter day after day and made a point to make her feel special throughout the cruise, from Pluto who let our daughter "knock him over" while giving him a huge hug each time they met to Rapunzel who remembered our daughter's affinity for her multiple times throughout the cruise and grabbed our daughters hand to lead a dance throughout the dining room on the final night. You will not find better staff on any other cruise, hotel, theme park, anywhere. The food. You'll never go hungry on this cruise. From the comfort basics like pizza and chicken tenders to the never ending soft-serve ice cream and mickey bars to the high-end meals of black truffle pasta and venison prepared three ways you'll get more than your recommended calorific fill. Sure, room service is almost all free but why waste time in your room when food is served on board almost all day long. The Cabanas buffet was stocked with what you'd expect and more, especially some international surprises mixed in. We loved grabbing the fresh fruit from Daisy's De-Lites, as well as building our own burgers, and eating chicken tenders, shawarma, and fries from the snack bar throughout the afternoon. The real treat came every night though as you make your way for dinner. With four courses you will be stuffed, but if you can't decide what to order just remember you can always ask for two different entrees or desserts, because when else will you be able to indulge like this? Kids Club. Man alive there is no better daycare in the world than what Disney has setup. It's been a few months since our cruise and our daughter still talks about going back to Kids Club. This parent free zone has everything from a Toy Story playground to a Marvel room, to special character meet and greets, story times with princesses and more. Plus with messaging through the app and room phones you're alerted as soon as your child would like to leave. The perfect escape for kiddos and parents. The lesser points? #1 disappointment for our family was the small pool areas. All four of their ships only feature three pools (one is adults only), all of which are the same size on each ship. When one is closed, the other fills up with no room to even move around besides just standing to watch the movie. You'd think Disney would want to compete with other cruise lines on this. Second issue was with communication confusion. First day mandatory lifeboat drill? Navigator app said one time and the announcements over the speaker system said another. Great way to start the trip... At port today? No way of knowing which floor or side of ship to leave from and it changes every time. Even asking staff members results in different answers. Any other issues were minor and usually resolved. My review may not have covered everything, I mean I'm sure I'd hit maximum characters if I did, but in the end, we made so many amazing memories and had so much fun. So much so that we put down a deposit for another cruise and have since then booked it. I can't wait to see my daughter smile like that again!

My Orlando based colleague referred to Ramon as "Mr Disney" and I can't think of a better…read moredescription. I reached out to Ramon several months before our trip to Disney to get some help figuring out the best plan of action for a princess obsessed 3 year old. He was extremely helpful in suggesting appropriate theme parks, restaurants and other activities. And then I hired Ramon to be our "concierge" for a day at Hollywood Studios. When we met Ramon I was feeling a bit frazzled after our first solo day at Magic Kingdom. My usual daredevil 3 year old had decided she was suddenly afraid of everything and was extra cranky thanks to a cold. We were making our way to "voyage of a little mermaid" when she burst into tears that she was now scared of Ariel. Sigh. Ramon didn't even flinch and suggested we instead meet Woody and Buzz from Toy Story. My daughter was all smiles again and as soon as she started to get fussy in the very short line he pulled a book of princess stickers out of his magical bag and stopped yet another meltdown. Disney is anything, but calm...but Ramon himself is cool as a cucumber. The 4 hours we spent with him were actually relaxing. He had a great plan in mind based on his knowledge of Hollywood Studios. Because of him we never waited in line longer than a few minutes and managed to do everything we wanted to do in half a day...and make it back to the hotel in time for naptime (mom and dad sure needed a nap too!). I originally worried it would be weird to have someone with us on our family vacation, but Ramon was a pleasure to have with us. He also did a great job of being helpful, but let us have our family time. We did all the rides, attractions and lunch on our own...and he was waiting for us after with a smile. And when my husband wanted someone to ride a roller coaster with him he was more than happy to help out. Disney is always fun, but can definitely be overwhelming (especially during the holiday season). However, it really will be the happiest place on earth if you invite Mr. Disney along for the ride.

(He still can't get it right.) He promised several things and did not deliver. It definitely wasn't stress free or worry free - If anything, it was the opposite. Sure, he brought us Starbucks one morning and did a neat trick with Soarin' with the kids, and waited in line for us for the Frozen Princesses. Oh, and dinner ran late one night past our fastpass time and he managed to get us in. -- BUT so not worth the money we spent for having him 5 days!!!! It might be different if he actually put the phone down and walked with his clients instead of leaving them. He did have a friend help him, Mary, who did a better job than he did. At least she actually made sure our party stayed together! Save your money and don't use Theme Park Concierges! You definitely won't be treated like VIP. I just wished someone would have mentioned something before I made the mistake of using Ramon for 5 days!!!!!

I made the reservation over a month in advance and even paid an additional **$189 in resort fees** for **Westgate Las Vegas**, receiving a confirmation afterward. When I called Westgate directly to confirm the reservation, I was shocked to learn that a reservation had been made and **cancelled the same day it was created**--without my knowledge. I then spent hours on the phone, only to be transferred between multiple **timeshare marketing companies**, none of which took responsibility. I was ultimately told there was nothing they could do on such short notice and that I needed to make other accommodations. To make matters worse, I was contacted by a third-party timeshare broker involved in this situation and was told--while driving to Vegas with my son--that I would be charged anyway. At first, they refused to issue a refund and would only communicate when trying to sell the package. The **resort fees were never sent to Westgate**, yet they kept my money. Eventually, I received a text admitting they made a mistake and promising a refund. **It has now been over a month, and I still have not received any refund or follow-up communication.** This experience caused unnecessary stress, ruined our trip planning, and feels extremely deceptive. **Please do not waste your money--this company operates like a scam.**
