My mother is downsizing & needed some work done on her garage door & garage door motor. I called another company on Tuesday, 4-26-16 that advertises same day service & scheduled an appointment for 5 hours later. 3 hours later they called back advising they were overbooked & wanted to reschedule for 6AM the next day. I was surprised they would be out that early & asked again to confirm the 6AM appointment in which she did & also advised they would call 30 minutes in advance. About 7AM the next day I called them & they said my appointment was re-booked for sometime before 5PM (in which it was NOT). I waited about 2 hours, called back & spoke with their scheduling manager. The new excuse was that on Wednesday's their techs are in a meeting at the warehouse where they pick up all their supplies, if it had been any other day of the week they could get out faster. I canceled the appointment & let them know they promise a lot on their website & they do not deliver. I then found DistribuDoors on Yelp & called them, Michelle was very helpful & advised their scheduling manager would call back asa he got into the office. He did & I scheduled an appointment with them Wednesday afternoon. John showed up on time, inspected the door & the motor, he addressed a couple other items as well. He had answers & explained the options, he repaired the door, reconnected, centered & braced the motor, etc. Getting this job done was important for us so that we can move onto to other projects. I called Distribudoors and the woman I spoke with was super nice and helpful. She said with the COVID-19 that they had a skeleton crew but sent a message to Bernie who will contact me and see if he can help. My garage door wouldn't open!! it sounded like it was the motor, it really struggled to go up and I couldn't even release the latch to raise it myself so was totally stuck. When Bernie called, we chatted and he had enough information to deduce the spring broke. He then said he would arrive in an hour or so and he did. We kept the 6ft distance and he went to work on repairing and replacing the spring. Took about 45 mins or so and garage door was up and working again!! he also oiled the parts and so glad he was able to fix it. Very nice man, very efficient and really appreciated it. Then when I wrote my check, he said it was to Cressy Door so posted here and there too =). Assuming, they are affiliates/franchise? anyway. great job Bernie and didn't get the name of the woman on the phone but thank you so much! My first encounter was Heather and she was great, we met at the house and I was in a huge hurry and she was prompt and informative. I ordered the doors and they came when I was told they would. Will was the first to arrive on site and on time and started to remove the old doors, he was very quick, friendly and hard worker. Mario arrived a bit later with the doors on his truck (from the Everett Office) and the two of them worked like a well oiled machine installing the larger of the two doors we had ordered. Will left to go to another job and Mario finished the job by installing the smaller door and getting the fit "just so" on both doors. He was very friendly, worked really hard, did not waste time, got his work done, cleaned up and I was quite impressed with the entire process. I very rarely do ratings but I feel compelled to comment on the service of DistribuDoors, and in particular John Vicenzi. I had a lift cable come off one side of my 40 year old wood double garage doors. Through much effort I was able to get the door closed (it failed in the up position). I intended to fix it myself but decided I'd had "enough fun" just getting it down. John arrived promptly as scheduled. He recommended and installed new rollers but suggested we didn't really need to put in a new cable. In other words, he didn't up-sell us anything we didn't really need. John really knows his stuff and I learned a number of "tricks" on servicing. But as long as I can call John, I'm not even going to think about servicing garage doors myself anymore. I wanted to take a second to tell you how impressed I was with my experience with your company. It started with a very pleasant call with your front receptionist. Who then put me back to scheduling. Very nice experience with them. They were able to schedule Justin out the same day. He kept me updated on his arrival time at my house. He was very thorough and knowledgeable and we wrote up the order that day. Ron was very good with rescheduling due to your tech's wife going into labor. I know those aren't easy calls to make when customer's are waiting on their installs. Lastly Quinn was courteous and efficient when it came to install time. I had a spring break a couple weeks ago and needed a new garage door anyways. My friend told me to call Distribudoors and I am happy I did. A woman from the company came out the next day and gave me an estimate and they rushed my order and got it installed within a week of my spring breaking. The installer was friendly and I was happy to see he cleaned up after himself. I have had some maintenance guys leave huge messes and thought this was going to be another big ordeal. Although the doors are good quality the installation lacked quality. The wiring was not done properly so I had to re-do that and the hinges on the door sections were not lubricated and creaked when the doors opened and closed. I also took care of that myself. The old existing opener was damaged when removed so I had to fix that also before it could be re-installed on another door. Need to really watch the installer to make sure the work is being done correctly. read more

These folks are extremely reliable and professional. I believe if you buy all the materials yourself from Home Depot, know exactly what you need, and get a contractor to do it, you can scrounge a ~20% savings from Distribudoors. That's what I tried to do and it was a nightmare of coordination and incorrect measurements and flaky contractors. We had an issue with our garage door going out. It was suggested that we call Distribudoors. They were at our house within an hour and installed a new garage door opener within 2 hours. The installer John Vicenzi was misleading. I wanted a garage door opener that is WIFI capable but he sold me one that requires the purchase of another gateway device. He didn't make it clear. I couldn't resolve this over the phone with Michelle however, Diane the GM called back and was very apologetic and cared enough that she sent me the extra gateway/device for free to compensate. read more

Excellent service and a great local company! My garage door had a broken spring and a bad hinge. The technician, Rigo, was running late but the office called ahead of time to let me know.
