I can't say enough great things about District Printing. After dealing with two other printers who either failed me, or gave me attitude because I needed an immediate turn-around earlier in the week - both a complete waste. I found District Printing via a Google search. It was Thursday afternoon and I needed t-shirts printed ASAP for an Idle No More - Los Angeles Flash Mob taking place at The Grove at noon THE NEXT DAY. I needed to have the t-shirts by 9am on Saturday morning. Crazy fast turn around. I called District and they kept me calm and said they could complete my order. Of course, me doing a million things at once for a bunch of different projects, it wasn't until Friday afternoon that I was FINALLY able to get all the artwork to them and approve the proofs - I was sure, it was too late and they were going to tell me "sorry, we can't do this now." But they DIDN'T! Chris, Donovan and Andrew were amazing throughout the entire process. My blood pressure was at an all time high worrying I wouldn't be able to deliver the t-shirts, but the boys at District never stressed about the timing and told me "don't worry, we got this for you." And they did! In fact, when they finished the order late Friday night, Andrew called to see if it would make my life easier if they delivered them that night,. I couldn't believe it...so considerate knowing the time crunch I was under. Unbelievable I kept thinking! So Andrew, when he finished his shift delivered my order - to my front door - from Culver City to Palmdale (over an hour out of L.A.)!! He even got stuck in traffic and it took him nearly 2 hours to get to my house, but he kept on truckin' to get the order to me at 2am. Who does that these days? Amazing customer service! I ended up staying up the entire night prepping the shirts, tagging them with the names of all the key people who needed to get one. I worked none stop from 2am until I had to leave for The Grove in L.A. at 11am. I totally underestimated how much time I would need getting the t-shirts ready. If Andrew had not delivered them to me at 2am, I would have been totally screwed if I had waited to get them Saturday morning as originally planned. District Printing saved me by being able to get the order done super fast and timely, and by giving me that extra time I didn't know I needed to get the order prepped for the event. At the event, the t-shirts were all handed out and were a huge hit. Printing was beautiful, t-shirt quality excellent and people WERE EXCITED over them -- all thanks to District Printing! I told EVERYONE about District Printing that day, and I will continue to do so because of their quick service, professionalism, customer service, kindness, and amazing capabilities. Forget this place with a capital F*. Called to get a quote for a large 2 color print on a t-shirt. The guy who I spoke with told they could do it no problem and gave me a quote - it sounded fair so I sent him my artwork and emailed to confirmed everything. I could not get a response or reply to my email, after days of trying to get ahold of this guy I finally got an email back that said they got my artwork and it was no problem. I went to the shop to drop off the T-shirts they were going to be printing on. This place is in the ghetto, on Normandie in a shady unmarked building, behind a locked gate. I knock and they turn down the blasting mariachi music and let me into the sweatshop. Of course the guy I spoke with is not there, so I talk to another employee. They have no idea what I was talking about, no details of the order I was about to place. They start called the first person I spoke with on his cell phone and hand me the phone. He tells me it is all good and not to worry. OK, great I hang up the cell phone and hand it back to the guy and the shop. Now they guy at the shop heard the conversation and I've filled him in on the detail of the order - he tells me they can't actually print that large on a shirt - And they don't have the equipment to handle it. WHAT?!?! So I've got 2 people at the same shop telling me exactly the opposite - one says they can print my shirts and the other says they can't and they should have not taken the order in the first place. Confused and pissed that my time was wasted by these guys, I leave. Here is the thing, the website advertises they can do over sized prints and all over prints - but it seems like they can't do half of what they advertise. Save yourself a trip to the ghetto and find a legit screen printer. read more

I've worked with many printers and manufacturers over the years and I have never worked with a company that has such lack of communication and unprofessionalism. Our company placed an order back in June of this year and it took *3 and a half months* (!) until our goods were finally delivered to our warehouse. Every time I emailed to ask for a follow up it would take days to receive a response. They messed up our initial order, we asked for revisions (took a over a month to complete), did not follow up with us when production was completed, sent us wrong tracking numbers so we were unable to accurately track our packages, and promised a credit that we never received. I'm really surprised at all these good reviews because I didn't receive any positive experiences with them and I'm surprised they're still in business with such terrible customer service. read more

I used these guys for a small run of t-shirts with custom artwork, which I provided. The initial interaction with someone was good, then I never heard anything back from the girl. I followed up again and dealt with another person, Andrew who was helpful, got me a fair price and in the end, got the shirts done within my schedule and hand delivered to my door at no additional charge on a Friday night(the night of Carmageddon). Overall, their followup and communication could have been better, but they hand delivered a quality product to my door at a fair price on schedule. Given that, who cares if the print shop is located in an industrial part of town? I did it all via phone and email and it worked out fine. read more

Customer service was excellent! They helped me get my logos together and re design the ones I had trouble with for my clothing line. At little cost. These guys are awesome! I found them online in my search for a t-shirt company. I was doing all at work and needed to do online as had little time to make phone calls, etc... They responded with a reasonable quote and help via email and from there were just awesome. So many other online printers were cagey and non-responsive seemingly expressing how they would not assist unless we had a large order quantity and credit card on the ready. District responded immediately. They responded quickly with a fair quote and promise to help. They understood our project, designed the art, and did it all in super rapid fashion - just 2 days - all with a smile via email! I called these guys for a last minute order and they were AWESOME! They got a rush order done in 24 hours, offered to hand deliver from LA to OC, AND when given the reigns on the creative design (since the shirts were last minute I asked them to actually design everything that went on the shirts along with pick a color scheme) they did a fantastic job. They definitely performed. I strongly recommend these guys. On top of everything they were polite, quick, and were never short on communication - the followed up and kept me updated with the progress. They even stayed a couple hours late for me to get there after work and make a flight. When I got there, I saw that I underestimated the size of one (this was my mistake in lacking size judgement, not theirs - they were on point and made exactly what I initially requested) and asked if they might have time to make another, they didn't hesitate (remember this was already well after work hours) and made a new one at no extra charge in 15 minutes! The shirts were also good quality and flattering. They take orders from all over the place so don't hesitate to order something if you're not in LA. I contacted District printing 2 weeks before my printing deadline. Andrew followed up with me. Although the back and forth communication was slow, I was assured that we were on the schedule to have things ready by my due date. As the deadline approached my apprehension grew because I thought that things should be moving forward sooner. Again I was assured that we were set for the deadline even after I reiterated that the deadline was the day before I left town for a tattoo convention and the shirts needed to come with me. The day of my deadline, I gave Andrew my credit card # for a deposit and he was supposed to pick up the blank shirts from American Apparel, print them and then deliver them to me. That was early this afternoon. It is now past midnight and the deadline has passed. I left several VMs on his cell and with the company. Nobody bothered getting back to me to explain the situation. I depart for the convention in 7 hours with no shirts. Because of the unprofessional dealings with District Printing I will have an empty booth, a huge profit loss and the embarassment of not having the threads that I told my clients I would have. I am still in awe that someone could lead me on to the last minute and then screw me like that. I am a successful business owner myself with 13 years experience of business dealings in which I have never had such a rotten experience. I would advise you to take your business to a more deserving company that works hard to deliver on their word and fulfill set obligations. read more
