I walked in and there was a gentleman ahead of me ordering donuts. After the cashier helped him she took my order and then went to the kitchen to make it. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on toast. Within 6-7 minutes she was walking back out of the kitchen while closing a box as she said "bacon, egg and cheese on toast? That'll be $4 sweetheart!" It was fast! I believe I was In and out the restaurant in 10 minutes! Now the sandwich... the toast was perfectly buttered, the eggs firm but fluffy, the cheese melted perfectly and the bacon had that equal ratio of crunch and tenderness. I've been depriving my body of great food by stopping at State oil or Racetrack for their breakfast sandwiches. I'll be here every morning that time allows! I checked out the NOLA Food Truck app (if you don't have this app already, get it!) and this place popped as being parked at Kingpin, which I honestly never knew existed even though I'm in this area all the time. Anyways, $11 for a bahn mi seemed a little ridiculous, but I got one of their signatures: the Pig Shrimpin, which has pulled pork and shrimp along with all the standard bahn mi stuff.
