Flour Moon -- 5 (and I don't say that lightly) Let me start with this... I didn't even come here to work. But babyyy, the vibe pulled me in and sat me down real quick. The atmosphere? 10/10. It's one of those places that just feels good. Calm, airy, aesthetically pleasing without trying too hard. Perfect for getting work done, studying, catching up with your friend, or a cute little meet-up with your boo. And it's family-friendly, which I love. Inside + outside seating, so you can really choose your mood for the day. Now let's talk about what really matters... the BAGEL. Listen... it has been YEARS since I've had a goooood bagel sandwich. Like the kind you think about later. The kind that makes you pause mid-bite. This is THAT spot. The menu isn't overwhelming, but the options?? Whew. So many bagel choices, cream cheeses, jams--because let's be real... what is a bagel without cream cheese?? I went in fully planning to get two sandwiches just to try more (greedy, I know ), but this one humbled me real quick. I got the BlueBird... and I've been eyeing it for a minute, so I already knew I had to. Turkey, jalapeño cream cheese, banana peppers, blueberry jam... Yeah. Let that sit. Sweet, savory, creamy, a little kick... it just works. I was SOLD. While I was sitting there working, I asked a couple next to me if they were regulars (because their food looked too good not to ask ). They told me they come all the time and basically get everything. That told me everything I needed to know. And honestly? I believe them. You will NOT be disappointed here. And the drink?? Oh it had a little punch to it--in the best way. Not watered down, not playing with you. One of those "okayyyy I taste it" moments. IYKYK. Overall, this was such a great experience. The food, the vibe, the energy... everything aligned. I will absolutely be back--especially when I'm on that side of the river again. Flour Moon, you did your thing.

Great space. Indoor and outdoor seating. There's always a line but they move through fairly quickly. Yummy bagels. Great cocktails. $$$$ for bagels in my opinion.

I loved my BLUEBIRD (smoked turkey, jalapeño cream cheese, blueberry jam, arugula, pickled hot banana peppers). I chose to have it on a Bialy instead of a bagel. The Bialy gave it a little extra mmmph with the crunchy center. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cool as they allow dogs in the outdoor area! There are also food items for sale to take home like their delicious beet horseradish cream cheese!!!

Stopped along the Greenway and decided to check out Flour Moon for the first time... and wow, what a great find! The weather was beautiful, so it was the perfect excuse for a mid-morning snack break. The staff greeted us right away and were super friendly, taking time to explain the menu and a few of their specialties. They make food items fresh. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and they were delicious--fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed after a great fitness yoga session hosted by Heart N Hands on the Greenway. One of the best surprises? Seeing Gruet on the menu! Being able to split a small bottle of bubbles with breakfast felt like such a fun treat. The outdoor seating is perfect--lots of space to relax, hang out, and enjoy the views of the Greenway. Great vibes, great food, and a great stop if you're out walking or biking. Definitely adding this to my list of favorite Greenway pit stops! I will definitely be back.

Came to report that this is still my favorite breakfast bagel ever! You cannot beat this NOLA gem!

I love trying bagels when traveling to a city and saw Flour Moon had great reviews so wanted to give it a shot. I ordered two bagels to be delivered to my hotel and they were delivered quickly and were fresh. I ordered an egg and cheese on everything and a sesame with cream cheese. The egg and cheese was tasty. I think there were anise seeds on the everything that threw me off a little bit was still tasty. The sesame was also good. Good portions and good prices.

I went here two days in a row, and I honestly could stop the review right there! But no, I like this place a lot. My first visit I had a satsuma mimosa and the hot smoked salmon bagel with a poppyseed bagel. The mimosa was great and a generous pour. The bagel, I really enjoyed, but I should have asked for light cream cheese. This is a me problem with texture and what not. But it was still enjoyable. This day, I dined in the indoor area. My next visit the next day, I dined in the outdoor area. This day I ordered the sirius rising cocktail (frozen) and the rare roast beef. Both were amazing, but the rare roast beef really stole the show. This is going to be my usual. I'll be back until I'm sick of bagels!

Fantastic bagels. Lots of fixing options. Someone took the wrong sandwich which happened to be mind the staff working the food truck were cool, funny and kind about it. Fresh bagel and sandwich as a whole. Sometimes with lettuce, tomato on a sandwich it looses its crispness. That wasn't the case with this bagel sandwich. The chopped cheese was delish.

the best bagels in New Orleans by far. It's not even a competition. the quality is insane and the flavor combinations are unique and elevated. You can tell they are dedicated to using quality ingredients. Their frozen drinks are also busssssss (the coffee t hini and the frozen aperol drink). my favorite is the blue bird but also love the classic breakfast. I've been twice and was blown away both times. Can't wait to go back to try specials and to build my own. Plus it's so cutesy inside and lovely outdoor patio. Staff is friendly too :)

This is my second time here and although there is a bit of a wait, it's very much worth it. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and on days where the weather is nice, I can see the appeal of sitting outside. I got the classic breakfast sandwich (added sausage and cream cheese) and it was amazing 10/10. Probably the best bagel sandwich I've had. I will say if you decide to add cream cheese, it will melt and make the sandwich slip and slide! Overall, I would highly recommend.

This place was semi out of the way but my god the bagel was so with it. By far the best bagel I've had. Everything bagel with an outer crips and airy inside with the perfect amount of chew! Service was fast, came to the counter and picked up! Gosh, wish there was one near me. Definitely would recommend.

What a treat this place turned out to be. If you've read my reviews, you'll know I that I try to avoid carbs like the plague and almost always fail. I've ridden past Flour Moon Bagels on my long bike rides along the greenway over and over and I finally decided to stop and indulge. I ordered the classic breakfast bagel with all the add ons (tomato, bacon, avocado). It also just so happened that they had the creole everything bagel that day and my goodness it was really amazing. Turned the flavor on a classic breakfast sandwich up a few notches! I honestly can't wait to go back...but next time I'll have a tartine which I believe is like half an open faced bagel sandwich. The menu options looked amazing!

Flour Moon Bagels has quickly become one of my favorite morning stops. The bagels are clearly made with care--chewy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly fresh. The everything bagel with their house cream cheese is a personal favorite, but I've also been impressed by their seasonal flavors, which keep things interesting. The coffee is solid and pairs well with the bagels, and the staff is friendly and welcoming without being overbearing. The shop itself has a cozy, modern vibe--plenty of natural light and a warm atmosphere that makes you want to linger.

I cook a lot of both at home--I'm someone who is dedicated enough to my Louisiana cooking to order Steen's syrup from Louisiana to my Florida doorstep even though Florida makes perfectly good cane syrup in its own right. (Side note: any New Orleans restaurant you venture to serving pain perdu with maple syrup and not Steen's--ask what the hell they're even doing.) Like most worthwhile restaurants, the menu here changes up. The specials as well as their famous sandwiches seem the way to go and I got the fried shrimp with bread and butter pickles. Exceptional--a small amount, it may have even been a starter but regardless was perfect for me. The sandwiches other diners had on their plates were large and looked delicious just glancing around at other tables. Everything comes up fast and the atmosphere is . . . just ideally New Orleans. It feels all the way "working CBD lunch" yet unhurried, a reflection of Cochon's greatness but scaled down and with utterly no pretense. There's simply a real sense of both care and expertise in everything done here no matter how simple or complex. Beyond all else, they're doing what they love here with no scaling back or dressing up to make it anything else. A winner through and through.

However, I know wait times can be out the door so plan accordingly. We were dropped off by Uber, but in terms of parking, it's mainly street parking. Overall, the shop is pretty small. They have a handful of tables outside and more seating inside but it's not huge -- hence the longer lines. It's also quite eclectic with serving on plastic McDonald's plates and the music that was playing. We ordered: The ham sandwich, wedge salad, and a delicious pickle cocktail The ham sandwich had excellent flavor! I wish it had a but more ham on it, but overall the flavor was 10/10! The wedge salad had too much salad dressing. I LOVE blue cheese and blue cheese salad dressing but the lettuce to dressing ratio was off. Could have used less as I felt so much went to waste. The thick cut bacon on the salad was the exact salty touch it needed and the fresh dill was such a fresh touch. The pickle cocktail was delicious! I wish I would have ordered another one! It was slightly sweet, but also salty... SO good! Overall, I would highly recommend Turkey and the Wolf and totally stop by again if I were visiting New Orleans in the future.

After a couple of beers, we noticed the little po'boy counter tucked in the back and figured we'd give it a shot. Best decision of the day. I love finding places like this, no hype, no gimmicks, just really good food hidden where you'd least expect it. The ordering experience was a bit gruff and rough around the edges, but from then on, everything went right. First, you can hang out in the bar area at Erin Rose (I swear the crowd was friendlier than they looked) and eat there if there's space. I highly recommend their Paradise Peach, which seems to be from a local brewery. The bright, peach flavor of the lager does well to wash down the sandwich in the summer heat. I went with an order of the Braised Beef Debris Poboy and this is hands down not just the best Poboy I've ever had in my life, but the best beef or steak any sandwich I've ever had in my life! I wolfed it down so quickly and have to say the pickled green bean and banana peppers with that spike of horseradish sauce really sent this Poboy soaring! The braised beef was absolutely perfect and tender, amazingly so! I can get a bit picky about beef because I hate it when it's tough or gristly or has too much fatty parts that won't melt down, but I didn't have a problem with any of that. I'm no butcher, but seemed like they used a good part of the beef of what's already a fairly quality cow (Louisiana Wagyu Beef I recall reading) or maybe it was the whole braising process, but I wish I could have this for days! I'm going to be sad going back to Houston and not being able to eat this, but hopefully it'll still be around and just as amazing next time I'm back in town.
