I wish I would have looked up reviews before coming, because what a lot of yelpers have said is pretty spot on. It's very similar to a Chipotle in terms of their offerings/how they have an assembly line (though you order first, not as you walk through). I'm giving this place the benefit of the doubt since they were so new when I went and are probably still working out the kinks. We ordered on the kiosks when you come in and opted to pay in cash. It took a while for someone to acknowledge us and take our payment (plus they don't get started on the order until after you pay, regardless of when you place it). It then took 20 minutes for them to prepare 4 tacos and a burrito. Again, I'm hoping a lot of this is just organizational and they'll get the hang of things soon. The food itself was OK. Smaller portions than a Chipotle or Moe's, though more expensive. read more

Passed this place a few times and was really excited to try and hoped it would be great. They have a self ordering kiosk but when I walked in didn't notice for 5 minutes so stood there and was ignored. Finally figured it out and placed an order for tacos. Not a huge menu but got the meal to stay. Sat down to eat and tacos immediately fell apart and were soggy. Just awful. Awfullllllllllllllllll. spend almost 45$ for a fish taco, queso & chips, and a chicken bowl. Now I understand they just opened, but the lack of care, the portions, and the unprofessional response when I called to get something taken care of. We had hair in our queso, underneath of the meat, we only saw it because I stirred it good. I called and they told me it was probably mine. It wasn't, no way it couldn't have been. Totally unprofessional and wouldn't spend another 1$ there. As a new business you'd want to make customers happy right? Guess they want to close soon! read more

I think that in the past month/month and a half District Taco has settled in as a business and has started to offer better service and food compared to the previous reviews. I've been there four times in the past 2 months and have always been able to place my order quickly at the self service kiosks which is very efficient and easy to order. I will say that when I have gone in there were not many people there and I felt like my wait for my food should not have been as long as it was considering the low amount of people and that I just ordered a bowl every time which should be very quick to make. I would say the service of the workers is just average, sometimes they're friendly and sometimes they're stand offish just depending on the person. I think this is a good fast food Mexican option for the area as of now until the new Chipotle opens down the street, then I'm not sure how this place will hold up. read more

if I could give this place a negative 5 star I would. I cannot see how this place will last. Way overpriced for what you get - and then that is if you even get what you ordered. I ordered the California Burrito which was supposed to have protein, guacomole, potatoes, rice and beans. I asked for no beans (they go that right). The rice was cold and sticky and way too much, I upgraded to steak for $2.60 - I think there was a tablespoon of steak and maybe 4 tiny potato squares. The steak had no flavor, was cold and hard. They forgot to add the guacamole. People who ordered after me with larger orders got their food before me. The place was not overly crowded - actually it was basically empty other than myself and 2 friends - maybe another few people came in after. Very over priced for the quality of the food received. Oh yeah since I had high hopes - I signed up for their rewards program before going there and the cashier didn't even know what it was or how to enter it. Awful, awful! Workers weren't friendly. We waited over 45 minutes for our food when they said it would be 15minutes. Everything was cold when we got it. And a bonus hair in our food. Workers kept going out back for smoke breaks. I know they are new but come on! Wasted 45.00!! Just awful! I hope the owner steps up and watches what is going on. read more
