I'm new to the area and always have a hard time finding the right place for my pedis. I don't just get basic ones because I need callous treatment and acrylic on my two big toes. Terrible! From the second I walked in I knew it was going to be a nightmare. Walked in for a pedicure (called 1st of course) Lady in the front was RUDE because I was sitting for 10 minutes then asked how long is the wait bc I have an event to be at. I had 3 different people do my pedicure. First girl was on my feet for 5 minutes then someone came and she took them in while I waited for a 2nd lady to come complete her work....2nd lady came..worked on me for 5 mins burned me with the hot rocks didn't apologize..she then says someone can do my cuticles better than she does... 3rd person starts on me. Relatively new to the area and this place is right next door to my gym so I thought I would pop in. I've been here twice as a walk-in and both times they have done a good job on my toes/feet. They were friendly and offer a lot of colors. The only weird thing I don't like is they ask that you tip in cash instead of on card. So this was my very first time getting my nails done professionally since I've always done them myself. I asked for a pink to white ombré dip powder, which was 40. The lady who did my nails were really nice and friendly to me but cut my cuticle on three different fingers using the buffing tool and it badly stung when applying a liquid to my nails. Now knowing why they weren't fully booked, my friend asked for a light pink color and got a neon orange color instead. When asked to fix it they insisted she pick a darker color although she wanted a light color to begin with. My mother and I have been going to Diva for over 3 years and have always had the best experience except for this past time. Angel did my set and Katie did my pedicure. While using the tool to make the powder smooth that she had just put on my nails, Angel casually let the drill tool dig into my skin of the lower part of my nail! Now, I understand that getting the edges of the nails is kind of a tedious task because the skin is so delicate and the head of the tool is so big and I usually would not complain because a tiny cut is not bad... but my finger was BLEEDING. You can clearly see the red in the picture I have attached. After saying ow from the burning sensation of the powder residue of my acrylic on my open wound Angel finally said "hurt? sorry sorry" and after legging the manager/owner aware all she did was laugh at me. When I went to pay she didn't offer me a discount or any give any apology but asked me about my personal life. Definitely will not be coming back anymore. On the bright side, Angel did a good job smoothing our my nails. read more

FYI: This place does NOT accept AMEX. The price on their old website called Sachse Nails & Spa's different. Apparently they are under new management. I was greeted upon entering. The guy (I assume is the owner/manager) asked me what I want. And I respond mani/pedi. He pointed me to the wall of nail polish to choose one. I didn't take long, this was my first time here, but I was looking for neutral colors. He recommended a light pinkish color which is great. Pointed me to the back where the chairs are. The ladies were very nice. So, if you're Asian they'll bombard you with questions on are you ____? and where are you from? do you speak Vietnamese and such. There was other people here and they were relaxing. I felt like I was being interviewed. Sorry I don't speak Vietnamese. They had one lady working on my feet and the other lady working on my hand. The massage chair is comfy but it was weird (to me) that she's doing my hand nails while I'm sitting on the chair. Luckily the towel caught a few drips and didn't ruin my clothes. But I found it very weird coming from Boston, MA. Usually, they do the nails AFTER the feets done. I mean, they offered me a drink but I can't even drink it because you're working on my nails. It was quick. I chose classic mani/pedia. The 3 stone massage was great. After all that was done one of them guided me to a table with 4 chairs and told me to stick my hand under there... I had NO CLUE why? Turns out it was a heat lamp. No one said anything so I was just sitting there... and afterwards another lady who I assume is a regular said it's a nail drying station. Couldn't even tell. I guess you pay and leave on your own. The mani/pedi was mediocre since my nails/skin around the cuticle were both uneven and poorly done. The mani was rushed. Sure it was 30 minutes... but damn... I paid the same price back in Boston for a 1 hour mani/pedi with massage and the care was better and the nail polish lasted two months. It's been 1 week after my nails are painted and it's already chipping. I would not come back here. I had better, longer lasting nails, and massage/care back in Boston, MA. I've had my nails done for over 20+ years. When it comes to knowing how I want them & what I prefer, it's pretty set in stone. This shopping center has my gym, hair salon & pet salon so I decided to try Diva Nails & Spa. This was an excellent choice & addition to my convenient "one stop shopping " needs. The only confusion involves the name. Sachse Nails is posted inside the salon & in some online ads, but apparently it underwent an ownership change & this wasn't changed. First of all, they're extremely accommodating to anyone's schedule. If you establish a preferred tech, although it isn't required, I would suggest making appointments. They're pretty busy & make everyone feel important. Yan is my primary nail tech, but in a bind, I've used others & have never been disappointed. Yan has been there for 9 yrs & is obviously invested in her customers. It's always a joy to spend time with her. We have a routine & very rarely, if ever, do I have to ask for something to be done. Yan quickly learned the shape, length & thickness I like. It's so refreshing not having to explain every time. The atmosphere is always pleasant, seasons & holidays are tastefully celebrated. It's definitely more than a cookie cutter salon. They offer gift certificates & people I've purchased these for have been treated well. I would suggest writing what type of services you purchased & encourage your recipient to present GC upon arrival. Sometimes there's uncertainty about expectations when using GC & this minimizes interpretation for everyone involved. If you're looking for a great place to settle into, search no further. Recently moved to Sachse, and needed a new Nail Salon. Based on reviews, checked this place out. Boy, the reviews were Wrong!! They staff was nice and all, but the quality was awful! I asked for Nexgen nails and within 3 DAYS a nail came off!!! To top it all off, THE WHOLE SET WAS OFF WITHIN 1 WEEK! Not sure if it was a poor job or poor quality of Nexgen nails. I'm very disappointed. I would have returned after the 3 days to see if they could have given me a whole new NexGen manicure, but my Grandfather had just passed and I went out of town. read more

I've gone here for about two years and am usually beyond happy with the services! Kim is the absolute best for pedicures! She spends a lengthy amount of time on the massage, takes extra great care of you, and makes sure you're happy! However, I had Nina tonight for a manicure, and it was the worst manicure I've ever had. She was rough, cut me multiple times, yanked and pulled at my cuticles, and was careless. I had to tell her that she missed half of my fingernails and left at least five or so fingernails halfway painted at the tips. I usually never complain, but I told the manager I was unsatisfied with the manicure. The manager replied with, "oh" and said nothing else-not even an apology. I was shocked at the terrible customer service by both Nina and the manager. I will only come back for pedicures from now on with Kim. I realized I'd written this review a while ago. I met my friend here this last week and got a gel manicure. I instantly regretted it when the girl that was doing my nails had a terrible attitude and seemed put out to do her job. She didn't ask me if I wanted a drink, didn't ask me how I wanted my nails shaped, and was all the way finished with my manicure before my friend had even finished with her leg scrub. She was rough - especially when trimming the cuticles. She did a sorry job, as my nails are already beginning to chip, and we just had them done two days ago. The polish toward my cuticles is uneven and she painted them to where they already look grown out. She made absolutely zero conversation until the very end when it conveniently came time for the tip. I saw Kim (it was her off day), and she managed to come over, say hi, and make more conversation in five minutes than the lady doing my nails did the entire time. Again, i have been a customer for four years now, and I would ONLY go here if Kim is doing your toes or nails. The manager even has an unfriendly disposition. Go elsewhere unless you're using Kim. I promise it'll be a waste of money ... not time because they hardly spend any on you! read more

I looked up the prices online which was $17 for a gel manicure when I got there they told me the price was $28 I showed them the website with their location and prices and the lady told me that was 5 years ago and they haven't changed it. After telling her that that was false advertisement she said I could pay $20 because they would still loose money. Keep this in mind that they should update their website so this wouldn't happen but they advertise this so they can get people through the door and charge them more than what their website says. How ridiculous is it to not honor what their own website states because it's "old" and that was "5 years ago" on top of that hey do not use new nail filers but old ones never going there again read more

No matter how busy they are the wait is never more than 10 minutes because they have so many people working there. Or you show up at your appointment and they say it'll be 5 or 10 minutes and you're still waiting 30 minutes! I've been here about 5-6 times. The first time was absolutely incredible. I got a nexgen manicure and a pedicure. The manicure was flawless and the pedicure was so relaxing because she massaged my legs longer than any place I had ever been. I'm new to the area so I was excited that I had found such a great salon. Each time I have gone after that, it has slowly gone downhill. I just went there yesterday and I swear that will be my last time ever stepping foot into their salon. The woman doing my pedicure was too distracted by the tv to focus on what she was doing. She filed my toenails to the point they were raw and entirely too short and then used a sharp tool to poke and scrape under them for whatever reason. The lady doing my manicure....seriously awful. I had decided to not get nexgen this time and just get a regular polish. I swear on everything I could have done a better job than this. And she also nipped at my cuticles so much that one actually bled then she proceeded to spray rubbing alcohol on it multiple times. I have a high pain tolerance and my finger throbbed until about an hour after leaving. And like the lady doing my pedicure, she filed them entirely too short to where some are raw also. The paint is bumpy and she missed the sides and she messed with my cuticles so much that I look like someone who has had a habit of biting their cuticles for years and I have never once even done that. I was so frustrated by the time I went to sit at the drying station that I didn't care about anything being fixed, I didn't even want to complain even if it meant getting a discount, I just wanted to get the hell out. I'm not sure what happened from my first time going there to my last but the first time I went, everything was flawless and like I said, every time after that just went downhill. Save your money and frustrations and do not ever step foot inside this salon. read more
