When my sister arrived, the tech asked what lash type she wanted without explaining that a "classic" was the $99 special my sister is young and didn't know to specifically ask for it, so she showed a picture and was steered into a volume set instead, even though we clearly booked for the special online. I had personally called and told staff we booked a classic (the special) lash set, and asked them to confirm that with the tech before starting. Despite this, when I called during the appointment to make sure they were doing a classic set as booked, I asked to have my sister told that the classic was $99 compared to the volume set. My sister later told me they never relayed that to her, just saying she mentioned the price and said that the manager said the tech had "already started" even though the appointment was at 3:00 and I called at 3:03. Even accounting for a few minutes to get her settled in the chair, there is no realistic way an entire lash set was started in that window just setting up alone takes longer than that. They also ignored my request to tell her the classic was what we booked. My sister was charged for the volume set regardless. This is unacceptable. I gave clear instructions, and the studio still upsold my sister into a more expensive service and a membership she didn't ask for. She did not tip and was met with a passive-aggressive "mmmmm" in response. Horrible business. On top of this they told her she had to pay an extra $20 for booking a "MASTER" keep in mind i had the same appointment on July 1st and i did not have the same experience because i am pretty sure i didn't look like they could play with me. I had given this studio my sister's and some friends business and had a fill appointment booked for tomorrow, but I cancelled it and told all my friends to never go here. I don't want anything to do with a business that operates this way. I will not be removing this review until my sister is refunded the extra $60 she was overcharged. Advertising one price and then pressuring clients especially young, first-time clients into paying more without clearly stating that the special applies "if you mention it" is deceptive. I have documentation of everything the booking, the calls, and the timeline and I will be taking this to the Better Business Bureau and pursuing it in civil court if necessary until her money is refunded.

The advantage also being that it doubles as eye moisturizer as well. (Serious advantage in that even given the fact I should have some sort of beauty routine I still use soap and water on my face. But I digress...) Re: NATURAL BLONDES: Mary ALSO is the the ONLY person I know who can match eyebrows to my naturally light blond hair. Which, given their super light /nonexistent natural state is pretty impressive. She is part aesthetician and part artist. Re: DRIVING UP NORTH Yes, she's worth it. I live right downtown, and it's a 15 minute drive straight up 1-35 if there isn't any traffic. I can spend that much time getting across downtown sometimes.

She fit me in as a first timer. They look very natural. I am now a week out for my appointment and I have no shedding. Everything is still fluffy and beautiful highly recommend 10 out of 10. Her sweet is clean and relaxed. It's in a quiet part of the building so it is very relaxing. Her touch is so delicate with dealing with your eyes that after you get taped down, you could really go to sleep.

She is very timely, precise, and really listens to what you want. So great that she is also one of few lash artists that offer LED glue, but even when you get the regular glue your eyes never burn or stick when you open them. I can't speak for longevity since I have very oily lids and no type of lash extension lasts very long on me. Even though I find myself having large gaps 2.5 weeks in, temporary lash cluster pieces bonded to the "bald spots" holds me over until my next visit. Casey's prices are fair, and sometimes she even offers special discounts on full sets. Her appointment slots do fill up very quickly on the Vagaro app, so I always make sure to book my 3-week fills in advance!
