I had acrylic nails put on. When I went back for a fill the technician kept missing her target with the dremmel tool and it burned or cut my skin more than once. She actually laughed! This location was at a strip mall, where I arrived about 15 minutes earlier than the time of my appointment. I arrived inside and all of the technicians were busy with clients. Approximately 30-45 seconds in, I was asked how I can be helped by one of the technicians and mentioned my appointment time as well as what service I was there for. I was informed to have a seat and someone will attend to me. The wait was almost a half hour in. While waiting, I toggled between two tv screens. One with a list of 80's-90's music as it played music and the had "The People's Court" tv show on. Once it was my turn, I went over to the area where I would be getting my feet done. Anna Banana told me her name while she did my feet. She was nice and pleasant. In the midst of her doing my feet, I asked if I could get one my nails redone from a previous location. My nail broken and I needed an extension. She informed another technician, who gladly obliged to help and she fixed my nail. She also informed me it would have been done for free if I had gotten my nails done at their establishment. I did take a mental note of that. My nail was done professionally and blended in with the rest of my nails. Anna did a good job on my feet. The foot scrub and the massage felt good. My regular pedicure came out flawless. It felt like I was getting a spa pedicure. Overall, it was money well spent and the staff was nice, accommodating and friendly. During checkout, I received a rewards card and the cashier market the it off for my first visit. On the 11th visit, I'll get 20% off. I like this! Overall, it was a pretty good experience that will ensure my return to Diva's Nail Spa. read more

After going to different nail salons and don't get what I wanted, I stopped by Pro Nail & Spa to give it a try. That was on 12/21/2017,I wanted my nails ready for Christmas and because I was going to travel to Florida for the holidays. I got acrylic fill and pedi,both with gel nail polish, and I have to say that this is the first time that I have waited more than a month to get my nails again,I usually have to return to the salon after two weeks because my nails begin to lift and come off, but this time they are perfect! They have resisted 10 days of vacation, pool, Disney, all the chores that I do in my house, I have two daughters, a dog that I do her grooming and more! I was a walk in that they seemed glad to take until I sat down and the lecture started about how I should have made an appointment, i felt very uncomfortable it was my first time in the salon and I had asked if they had time to do my nails. I was treated like an inconvenience and I was directed away from the color I wanted. A lot of people are iffy about this place because of the service or how they do the nails. Personally when I go the owner or his wife will do my nails and they do a really great job, the nails usually last me about three weeks before they break which is a lot longer than any place I've gone to. They also have this thing called the pink powder it's a little more expensive ($50) it's acrylic powder that's supposed to make the nails stronger and have them last longer. My friend decided to get the pink powder and her nails lasted longer than a month! And it took them about two weeks for them to grow out. My coworker and I were just transferred to Flanders and decided to try pro nails salon. The workers were great very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the co owner is a very mean spirited man. I wanted a manicure and pedicure but the wait was too long and I had to settle for just a pedicure. The pedicurist was very sweet and offered to remove my chipped polish even though I didn't have time for a full manicure. The mean spirited owner noticed what she was doing and stood several feet away glaring at us. Then he scolded her in his native (maybe Korean or Vietnamese) language. She was forced to stop and left my nails looking like a disaster. I literally looked like I had just eaten a bag of cheese doodles or buffalo wings Also another customer wanted to purchase an emery buffing block. 2 workers spoke in Spanish about how this man did not want to sell the customer (my coworker) the block. (Of course they didn't know I understand Spanish) So in front of the owner and on behalf of the owner they lied and said they didn't have Any more emery blocks. I hope to continue to work in Flanders for many years but I will never go to this salon again read more

I have been to their Hackettstown location twice. The first time the girl cut my toe nails super short and they were not even but whatever they were new. I had an appointment and I had to wait. I tried back a second time with my friend. We made two appointments only to come into one worker able to do our nails. He also had two other clients in front of us that did not have an appointment as the receptionist told us, once we realized there was one worker and four of us we left. Terrible service. I just moved to Budd Lake and my first two visits were good but unfortunately my last experience was the one that broke the camels back... I have visited this place and they refused to do my nails. Nobody was in the store at 7pm (Sign says they close at 8pm) and they turned me away. I came here for a pedicure with my mom months ago and the AMAZINGLY low price for an acrylic full set and fills were what kept me coming to this salon. For my first appt, I got a full set done with Danny (who I believe is the owner or co-owner) and he did a good job on everything (shape, polish, etc). There were only two things that bothered me. He kept trying to persuade me to get gels on my acrylics. (Gels on acrylics are unnecessary because polish does not chip as easily as it does on natural nails. A proper 2 coats and top coat will last you until your next fill. It's just a way for them to get more money). When I refused, he got an attitude. Also, he pulled his cellphone out almost every 10 minutes and texted right in front of me with my hands out on the table. My mom had her nails done by Cindy sometime after and recommended her to me. Cindy had knicked her skin a bit and caused bleeding (and then used the "thin skin" excuse) but my mom didn't really complain. However, she did notice the tools were not cleaned or changed for the next client. For my second appointment, I asked for Cindy...and that fill was a nightmare! The shape was nowhere near how I wanted it and none of my nails were uniformly cut. Some were thin, some were thick, one was rounder, one was more square....just a completely botched job! At my third appointment, I was with a tech named Tom, who did a MARVELOUS job without much instruction from me, actually talked to me throughout the appointment, made me laugh,.....and unfortunately left for a new job a few weeks after my appointment with him :/ . Just when I thought I found my favorite nail tech...... So again, I got sent to Cindy...and I figured I'd tell her this time to keep filing until I got my desired shape. After about 2-3 attempts, I just let her finish up, went home, and filed my nails myself. For my last appointment, I was with Cindy again. I showed her a picture to give her a bit of a guide. She got the shape much better this time. But what became the final straw was the end of my appointment. I got up from the drying station to pay. Danny was at a table with a client, another tech was in the back, and Cindy had left for the night. There was a new guy there who I'd never seen before who seemed to be quite angry about something the entire time I was there. While I stood at the counter, he stepped outside to talk to someone...next thing you know, Danny gets up and goes outside, leaving his client at the table. Five minutes later, they walk back in....Danny sits down and the new angry guy quickly glances at me. I say "Can I pay?" He comes over to the counter, still talking to Danny, paying me absolutely no mind. He asks me how much the service was and I said "I don't know. Cindy left..she didn't say." So he charges me the basic fill price, takes my card, barely says one more word to me. I handed him a small $3 tip for Cindy, only because I figured that that cash wouldn't even make it to her hands. After the transaction, he goes back to talking to Danny. No "thank you for coming", "have a good night." Nothing. What's also funny about this place is that it seems like everyone secretly throws shade at each other. On three occasions, my nail tech would ask who did my nails last...and when I tell, they make disapproving faces. The unprofessional operation of this place is the only reason why I refuse to return. At first, I accepted it because it's cheap and only 10 minutes from my house. But you know what..I'll find another cheap place that provides quality customer service. It makes no sense for me to keep giving my money to people like this. read more

Where to start? I first called to ask how much a pedicure is and they told me. So I go and there is a hand written sign that says there credit/debit machine isn't working. Wouldn't you tell someone who called that it isn't working? I don't have any cash so I go to leave, but log course they have an ATM with a surcharge and say they will make up the difference for me. Do they? Nope. Also there is no credit card machine in sight so I have a feeling they just don't have one. I wait 30 mins while 2 people who came after me go in first. Then after getting my skin ripped off my toes she accidentally dumps nail polish remover all over my feet thinking it was lotion. I've gone for a pedicure 2 or 3 times with no complaints but went for a gel manicure and was throughly disappointed! 2 days later the polish was chipping and by the 5th day it was peeling off. I've had other gel manicures elsewhere that lasts 2 weeks and requires soaking them to get the polish off. I can say for sure I won't be waisting my money there again read more

First two visits were good, quick, and reasonably priced. Third visit was around the holidays and had to wait an hour and twenty minutes for an appointment that I was advised to make by an employee. Decided to take my business elsewhere when someone else "raced" to the next available chair and nothing was done to remedy the situation. Getting a manicure or pampering oneself should be much less stressful and a lot more professional. read more
