Jim and his crew were excellent. Jim designed us some beautiful cabinetry! They were fast, efficient and overall a joy to work with. We love our new cabinetry! Highly recommend!!!

I recently used Zefferry's Cabinets for a kitchen makeover (refacing). From the beginning Jim and his staff were attentive and knowledgeable in the art of cabinet refacing. The onsite staff was professional, polite, and didn't miss any scheduled work. Their prices were competitive and it's obvious why they are rated so highly on

A+ Timely, Professional, and truly talented. Thank you Jim! Jim had some great ideas to really pull together what we were looking for in our kitchen remodel. They were very patient, and thorough.

Finished cabinet, with the pipe hidden.

We are very pleased with our new storage closet built by Jim and his crew. Jim helped us figure out what would work best in our space. He was professional and ready to help when we weren't quite sure about what we needed. Our installation was tricky because of a pipe that could not be moved, but Zeffery's Cabinets made it work. We made a mistake and had to request a modification during installation and it was no problem. Jim matched the doors and finish to our other cabinets in the kitchen. The price was affordable and the construction time was reasonable. We recommend Zeffery's Cabinets. We are already thinking about our next project!

Brian had to Completely sanded down from Waite LA tile and Mosaic company and San Dimas did to our cabinets

Jim, a pleasure meeting you and hiring you! Brian was out standing! Hard worker! Brian paid attention to every detail ! He covered our brand new tile floor and quartz, countertop and backsplash. He was very careful. He was polite and considerate, careful, not to leave anything behind. He cleaned up before he left for this evening he was on time if not early, I would work with him again and again, and again no problems no hesitation. We did have orange peel on the cabinet doors Which Jim reminded me this is 30 dear old, solid birch wood cabinets and that's what I need to remind myself as these are 30 year old wood cabinets. With that being said, the kitchen cabinets are beautiful we have one drawer that doesn't work correctly. Very hard to open and doesn't soft close. Jim made beautiful, maple, solid wood drawers for the kitchen. * First we hired a different Company to remodel our kitchen That was a disaster from day one ! We had another company, LA tile mosaic company come in first job and destroyed our kitchen. We had to hire Jim's company to repair all the damage that LA tile mosaic Brett huckleberry did to her kitchen ! Because Juan from La Tile & Mosaic broke a kitchen drawer. Hiring Jim's company was the best thing we did. If you hire Jeffries cabinets, ask for Brian, he's the best wish we could clone him !

I wanted to update our 30 year old kitchen cabinets but still retain some of the beauty of the golden oak finish since we still had quite a bit of the oak trim throughout our house. Jim was fantastic to work with. He painted the lower cabinets but retained the original oak on top and helped us achieve the kitchen we were hoping for. He was pleasant, professional, and profoundly knowledgeable. We had a deadline to meet and we finished way ahead of schedule. I would definitely recommend Jim Zeffery's Cabinets!

Jim, Brian, Jose and the rest of the team did an amazing job transforming my dated kitchen. I was unsure of what I wanted to do and Jim gave me many good suggestions like staining the island to match the cabinetry in the rest of the house and painting the cabinets. That really gave the kitchen a classy fresh look. I knew I would be happy with the results as Jim and team have done other projects in the house including a buffet, entertainment center, bathroom and armoire. I have a beautiful brand new house. Beautiful workmanship. Thank you Jim!

We had the pleasure of working with Jim Zeffery and his crew at Zefferys Cabinets on our bookcase/cabinet project. We are new to the area and finding a quality cabinetmaker to add a multi-use cabinet to our dining room was not an easy task. We were looking for someone who actually listened to our vision while providing valuable feedback from their own experience and expertise. When we reached out to Jim, he was quick to respond and guided us through the entire process. He came out to meet with us and began by discussing with us what we envisioned in our space. We discussed different options, and he even drew up a rough sketch of what we wanted to make sure we were on the same page. We were deeply impressed by his and his crew's expertise, work ethic, and attention to detail. We didn't imagine anything looking so nice in our home. The cabinet compliments the room and the rest of the cabinets in our open concept home. This project was our first addition to our new home, and we learned so much from Jim. It was truly a pleasure working with him. We recommend him unequivocally for your cabinet needs.

We were looking for an update on our kitchen. The cabinets were in good condition but the dark wood was just not our style and painting the cabinets was a simple solution. Our island was pretty plain, Jim was able to give us a farmhouse style. He was also able to add pull out drawers to our bottom cupboards. Ben was the crew lead that worked at our house. He made sure that the area was cleaned up every day. I was a little picky about some of the repairs before they painted, Ben made sure that the wood repairs were perfect.

I can't say enough how happy and satisfied I was with Zefferys cabinets. Was hesitant to start my kitchen remodel because was not sure if it would be taken seriously since it was not a full kitchen remodel. We kept the original boxes but got new doors, drawers, countertop, molding. The pantry got new sliding shelves , the new drawers are soft close. We got a new pull out lazy susan, a small additional cabinet under the counter bar which now stores my plastic ware. I love that we got to keep our original back splash that matches so well with the silestone countertop we handpicked with their reference. The hideous crown molding was replaced and the same wood installed in the window sill. We were never asked for money in advance but paid as per our agreement as each phase was completed. The price was reasonable, service was quick and reliable. I totally recommend Jim and his team.

    High cupboards with ladder.

Fantastic quality work by Jim and his crew on a large master bedroom upgrade. They created 5 custom cabinets and a ladder so we could have access to ones mounted above a closet. All custom work to fit in the existing spaces. The bookcase cabinet included a glass front to keep areas of dust to a minimum. For the under sink cabinet we coordinated with a marble company so everything would fit together. The work was of very high quality which is what we wanted, not fast prefab work. The only issue was a door that didn't close all the way, and the crew came back to correct that issue immediately. I'm way behind in posting this review as this work was done in the beginning of the year. After 7 months there are no signs of ware or issues. This project was done in the middle of the Corvid crisis and the staff was mostly masked up and aware of our concerns. I will be calling Jim back for our next bathroom and Kitchen upgrade.

Oustanding service AGAIN! I use this company for everything when it comes to finish work in my home. Since moving to CA in February, i began remodeling the interior of my new home with the help of Zefferys Cabinets. Jim and his crew are so detail oriented and make sure my wife and i are happy with the job before they leave. New countertops, and cabinets, trim, doors, plumbing and custom tile work. I will always use this crew for home remodel and repairs.

He identified the issue quickly and highlighted the lazy workmanship from our kitchen installers (Taranto Construction, Inc in Claremont, CA) who were subcontracted through Lowe's (who we purchased our kitchen from). The shelves collapsed because of loose screws from lazy installers at Taranto Construction, Inc. It's infuriating to have to pay someone to come solve an issue that goes back to completely loose screws in the hardware that would've taken an extra 5 seconds to properly tighten at the initial install. But they know people won't see it, so they cut corners. DO NOT EVER USE TARANTO CONSTRUCTION INC in Claremont CA for a kitchen install, or any Lowe's in the surrounding area, as this is who they refer the work to. After spending a short amount of time with Walter, it's clear he knows what he is doing and is a professional. He even tightened and adjusted other cabinet doors in our kitchen he noticed issues with that had nothing to do with the cabinet shelves he came to fix. He was a very nice guy and I was glad I called him. Thank you very much.

Walter worked with us to pick the right product and colors. We went with Shinnoki real wood veneer panels. They are beautiful and durable. Once they got the veneer up, they routed then hand-filed all of the openings. Then that meticulously painted the face frames to match the veneer. They even painted around the drawers where you can see very little of the painting they did. That shows a lot of pride! Walter also gave us the look of frameless cabinets even though we would have had to replace the cabinet boxes in order to make them frameless. That's a lot of extra work. We got a custom job for less than the price of a non-custom job. In the photos you can see the detail I'm talking about. I've included before and after pictures. The before pictures are all dark, ugly drawers and doors. The after pictures are the modern, two-tone look. In one photo in which I have a drawer pulled out with hot pads in it, Walter designed that and made it fit. There was not a drawer in there before because it's under the stove and the gas line was in the way. But Walter moved it. Walter's very conscientious and not afraid to tell you if he thinks something is not going to look good. He'll do whatever you want, but we learned that he knows what he's talking about. Upon viewing it, he asked for dimensions and gave me a price. I gave the go ahead and left a deposit. A week or so went by and I called him and asked how it was going and if I could stop by and see it. I get there and he had the frame built out and it didn't look like the photo at all. I expressed my dissatisfaction and he then went over the details or my expectations better and he said he would raise it 6 inches to 36 inches as I am tall. He charged me $375 for this error of his and called it a prototype on the receipt. With the first cabinet not looking like the photo at all.... I was anticipating seeing the redo. I called and he was short/rude with me on the phone and later apologized. Fast forward to the vanity being pretty much completed minus the hardware. He was having an issue sourcing the slides for the drawers. They deliver the vanity.... and it's Sam and a helper. He has the vanity the wrong way in the hallway and trys to force it in the doorway, and damages the lower front moulding. He doesn't say anything, but puts forever soft putty on it that quickly comes out and the damage is prevalent. (Who does this with a custom and expensive piece?!) He says he will try something else.... Meanwhile, the two doors on the vanity are cut wrong.... Way too short so you see a big gap. He redoes the doors and now they're too large and hit with no way to adjust for the mis-measurement. The wood panel above the doors is twisting and has gaps..... It was just a bad experience on so many levels. I will never go back or recommend him. I should have just ordered something from China, but thought I would get a better product from the local guy. I spent over $2700, for crap. Oh on the last day he was at the house, all he cared about was getting his final check and had zero intention of taking care of the damaged vanity from his carelessness, and was done with it.
