I walked in and was greeted , not the friendliest by some man then I was directed upstairs to their showroom. After about 10 mins some lady came up asked what I was looking for and said I should send them an email with what I needed. I am doing a minor remodel to my kitchen and we are changing the cabinet doors. I asked around and was referred to Norm Tessier Cabinets by some friends. I showed them what I wanted and they gave me the price which I thought was a very fair for Hickory doors. They estimated 3 weeks for production and they delivered in 2 weeks. The doors look amazing, they are unpainted so you could feel the raw wood. The finish is very smooth, the joints are tight and seamless and the shaping on the center panel looks great. The office staff was very helpful and courteous as well. I would recommend them for kitchen doors or a full kitchen remodel. read more

We had NT Construction redo our entire house...BIG mistake. Three restrooms, kitchen, countertop etc. The price...over $80,000. It was a disaster. After signing the contract they started demolition, they did not clean up, stained my driveway with oil leaking vehicles etc. I spent dozens of hours arguing with them. I was accused of "injecting" myself in their business (in my own house at the $80,000 + price). This company spent more time fixing what they did wrong then any other contractor i ever hired. After signing the contract they demanded more and more money at every opportunity. It only stopped when I threatened to take them to arbitration ( based on the signed contract). A four to six week project turned into four months. They argued everything they did wrong. It was never their fault and always me being "too demanding." Unless you have countless hours to spend on the phone arguing with them, time to stay home to supervise what they do,and a big piggy bank, do not hire these people to do anything for you. I spend more time arguing with them the I got along with them. The entire project was a money grab. They sign the contract, get in your home and then demand more money. I resisted and became the bad guy. I could go on and on about my experience with them. It was a HORRIBLE experience. They lied, accused and only took action when threatened. They delayed the project after they scratched my new $40,000 floors because they refused to pay for the replacement of the scratched planks. Their plumer caused a 10 day slow leak in one of my bathrooms due to his incompetence (lucky for them I was replacing the wood floors). The water damaged the cabinet snf it had to be rebuilt. The leak also soaked the soon to be replaced wood floors. This is literally the extreme short version of my issues with this company. I would love to list my phone number and have any and all considering hiring them call me, unfortunately I can not. When you read the reviews please take the time to check the dates the reviews were posted. All positive reviews were posted about the same time, the negative reviews are actual reviews. Norm Tessier Cabinets did our complete kitchen remodel. After visiting their showroom We decided it had to be them. Jennifer came to our house and helped us design what we wanted. Our old kitchen and family room was gutted in one day! We were involved during the entire process making visits to see the construction process. Everything is Réal wood and quality constructed. Jennifer helped us pick custom slide outs, pop-up mixer stand, knobs, etc. we had custom cookie tray inserts constructed as well as wine rack. Custom pot filler faucet over stove, custom design ceiling that mirrors shape of counter top below. It is beautiful. I had one individual from this family-owned company come to my home named Dylan to change out all my kitchen hinges to soft closing ones and it was the biggest mistake ever! It's been a disaster ever since he came and replace them. They don't shut, they stay open, and worst of all... the doors completely fall off upon opening them!!! Just ask my husband who has to put them back on after they fall off. He used the worst hinges ever that stick out and jut out into my cabinets and take up space and room I asked him to use different ones and he argued and insisted these were the only ones he could use when in fact that was not the case. He also made a drawer below my cooktop which never closes flush and sticks out on one side. When I called the company looking for him and I explained the issues they wanted nothing to do with the situation and said they don't want anything to do with the work he did for us. I paid him $400 for his work and it was subpar and fell apart soon after. When I finally got a hold of him he was really rude about the whole thing and did not want to take any responsibility. He came back out and tweaked the cabinets made adjustments and then soon after the doors started coming off again. I wish I had NEVER had him do the work. The drawer he made worn close properly. Another cabinet guy I had come out to fix all of Dylan's work said he took no pride in his work and split all my wood inside my cabinets installing the soft-close hinges. He left a big mess I had to sweep and vacuum and wipe down everything he left. The pics show the poor workmanship. Now I'm out that money and am forced to hire another guy to fix what he did. Maybe they do better with cabinet refacing or replacement but not for what I had done. read more

We converted an existing structure into an in-law suite for my parents 5 years ago. We had Dave and Denise build and install the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom and I am pleased to say they look just as good as they did on the day they were installed. Dave and family exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to use them again or refer to them to family an friends. I just wish Dave would start building storage drawers for trucks!! Didn't think I could afford custom cabinetry as part of entire kitchen reconstruction with beams/posts and downstairs flooring remodel, but the family and team had the best estimate, were the most prompt and professional, and then during the work itself, which took us into COVID, was always beautiful craftsmanship, included great communication and consultation, frequent organized updates with photos online at portal, and I was able to pay for work as we went, making all costs, permits, etc. very manageable. The family and all workers were very respectful and courteous with my elderly and health compromised parents, even sectioning off a separate part of the house for them. They always left the worksite and house spotless at the end of each day, and were super responsive with all follow-up inquiries and needs. Can't wait to work with the Beavers family and their great team of plumbers, tilers, electricians, etc. on our upstairs. Special shout outs to Jennifer and Dylan on being super accommodating and creative during design and trouble shooting ideas, like flattening our entire ceiling line between the kitchen and family room with a matching custom mid-century wooden box to hide venting. Got some custom cabinetry done by this company. I give them credit for their quality materials but...they made some mistakes on the specs which I designed and would not take responsibility for it. Immediately blamed it on specifications that they had to follow, and how it is not their fault and gave me attitude about it. Became super aggressive and unprofessional when I voiced that I needed it fixed. I remained pleasant, but was infuriated inside. Why did the project get approved, and why did they say they could create my design to a tee? This is a company which needs some work in how they treat their customers, and need to fess up to their mistakes. Ended up with a cabinet not flush and off by 1/2 inch, and is extremely visible. Do not depend on them to treat you well after your money has been taken. Should have went elsewhere. Save your money and go elsewhere cause if something isn't done correctly they won't take accountability for it. read more

I've heard so many horror stories about working with contractors on remodels. My experience working with Norm Tessier Cabinets could not have been more opposite. From beginning to finish, I absolutely loved working with Dave Beavers and his entire family at Norm Tessier. My custom kitchen cabinets are just what I envisioned. Beautiful! I worked with Dave Beavers to establish the basic layout and design, and then Jennifer Beavers guided me as I made all of the fine detailed decisions. This family was amazing at collaborating with me. They provided the time necessary to discuss options and work out the decisions and details. We designed a place for plates, built in coffee bar, china cabinets, pantry, cubbies with shelves for display items, crown molding, and a magnificent island. I felt like Jennifer and Dave really listened to discover what look I wanted to accomplish, and then they designed and built it all. The craftsmanship is amazing. And, work was completed in a timely fashion! Every day I thank God for the Beavers. Not just because they built us a dream kitchen, but because they invested time and personality into the process.
