Excellent from start to finish. Omar was clear and detailed on the initial quote. Competitively priced compared to the several quotes we received. Installation less than a week later. And turned out perfectly.

We used K&L for our garage remodel and their work exceeded our expectations! We now have a clean, organized garage that we dreamed of. They are quick and professional and the work is exceptional. Thank you.

Here is our update, Mike the owner, he does what he promises, things are arrived on time to the exact date and time. Beautifully done, the crews are wonderful people, professionally installed. Pricing wise 1/2 to 1/10th of some other franchise closet companies. Ready to order garage cabinets. Highly recommend K&L. Thanks guys.

I'm responding to Mike's unprofessional response. We were never told that a death occurred by Scott. I copied and pasted the EXACT email from him. The products used and finished work speak for themselves through the photos. We recently finished a small remodel which included a new master bedroom, bathroom, walk in closet addition. My husband was set on having professional shelves/organizers in our new master walk in closet and hallway closet. We reached out to several cabinet companies on Yelp and interviewed them. We had an appointment with Scott within a few days of contacting the business via Yelp. He arrived very early, I was still working and my husband wasn't home yet (appointment time was 5:00 pm and he was here at 4:00 pm). We showed him the new master walk in closet, told him what our needs were and within 30 minutes, he drew up a design that we were very, very impressed with. We liked the fact that he heard us and provided a design plan that maximized the space and met our needs. The shape of the walk in closet was strange. He also provided a quote on the spot which we appreciated. We asked about the process to move forward: 50% deposit and the work would be completed within a couple of weeks. He actually showed us a sample of the white wood product that would be installed. We called Scott to come back a 2nd time to quote us on the hallway closet. Again, within a few minutes, he provided a hand drawn plan and a quote. We asked for a discount to do both the walk in closet and hallway closet and he accommodated our request. Our installation day was scheduled for November 14. I received the quote via email, signed the contract and paid the deposit via email. it was an easy process with Taffie. I received a call a week later that they would be able to move up my installation date to November 6. We were THRILLED as all our things have been stored in the living room and office. We have been living in a construction zone since August 2016!! Ethan and Junior, installers, arrived on November 6 around 9:30 am. They started on the master walk in closet and finished with the hallway closet. They were very quiet and completed the work around 4:00 pm. I told them that I would inspect the work with my husband and reach out to Scott with any issues. My husband came home at 5:30 and we looked over the installation. We saw many problems: gaps in many areas, scratched shelves along the corners and edges, installers ripped off the paint from our closet door trim (and didn't say anything). The shelves looked USED and bought from IKEA versus a "custom cabinet" company charging thousands of dollars. I took the photos and emailed them to Scott right away. He responded two hours later, "I will pass these pics on to the office and make sure our shop guys are made aware of these issues. It looks like the saw blades weren't changed. That always results in chipping on the cuts. " I called Taffie the following day and she said she was going to fit us in on Monday, Nov 13 to address the concerns. A few days later, Scott came by to look at all the issues and discuss next steps to address them. He again said that the blades weren't changed and this will happen once a year, he also said "homeowners shouldn't expect perfection," and when he was an installer and saw defects like these, he would have thrown them out and made the shop re-make them. His comments were extremely unprofessional and we didn't appreciate them. He made comments and wrote notes and said he would forward them Taffie. The appointment for repair was confirmed for Monday, November 13. I received this email: "Nov 12, 2017, at 8:09 AM, Sales Kl custom cabinets wrote: Good morning, . I hate to tell you this but our repairs are going to have to wait until Tuesday. I got a call from the shop manager that he won't be in Monday along with his son." We were beyond frustrated at this point as 1) the product we paid for wasn't installed correctly in the first place, 2) the responses we received from Scott about the complaint were unprofessional and 3) my husband took a half day on Nov 13 for the installer to come fix the issues. After sending two emails stating my frustrations, requested TWICE to speak to the owner and stated that we are considering having the closets removed and our money refunded, Scott said he spoke to the owner and an installer would be there the following day. The next day, Ethan and Junior arrived around 10:00 am. My husband was there and we reviewed all our issues with them. Within 2 hours, the gaps were covered with caulk, some shelves were replaced or painted. We are satisfied that the issues were fixed, but it was very inconvenient. The shelves and closets aren't what we expected and if we were to go back in time, we wouldn't have hired them or purchased these products. We would not recommend nor would we use them again.

We are sooo happy with our garage! Couldn't be happier with the customer service and the installers! They are high quality and good people!!! Highly recommend!!!

Very happy from start to finish. Company was professional, clean install, and did exactly what we discussed. The company also went beyond my expectations to design my cabinets to fit the specific requirements for my storage ideas, refrigerator, and water heater. Thank you K&L!

K & L custom designed my amazing closet ... this little area was too shallow for much, so I have decorated with my favorites !!

After she was hospitalized and moved into a skilled nursing facility, I suddenly needed to end her lease and completely clear out her apartment while also dealing with a million other things on her behalf. I knew I needed more than just a junk removal or moving company. I specifically wanted a senior move manager who could coordinate the sorting, donations, hauling, moving, and storage, because the thought of finding and managing all of those vendors myself was overwhelming. I found A Clear Path through the NASMM website and was immediately impressed that they were A+ Accredited. Their website also really resonated with me because they clearly understood the emotional side of hoarding and approached these situations with compassion. Mary reached out very quickly after I submitted my project details, and I was able to schedule a Zoom consultation for the next day through their online scheduling system. She was kind, responsive, and upfront that a project of this size would be costly. After our consultation, she emailed me a detailed proposal with the full price breakdown, so I knew exactly what to expect before moving forward. Communication was fast and easy over email, and everything from scheduling the consultation to paying the invoice online felt organized and streamlined. I was still really nervous on the first day because I didn't know what to expect, but Melody, Erika, and Tito arrived right at 9:00 AM and immediately got to work after I gave them a walkthrough. They were so thoughtful and reassuring, and they always checked with me about what should be kept, donated, or thrown away. They were also incredibly meticulous. They carefully combed through everything and set aside important documents, money, and sentimental belongings, including things I had not even thought to look for, like my mom's passport and my family's Social Security cards. Knowing they were paying such close attention gave me so much peace of mind. They worked through an enormous amount of stuff during a heat wave and remained positive and efficient throughout the project. I was honestly so inspired by their work ethic. Mary had estimated that the sorting would take two full days, but they finished early on the second day! A Clear Path also coordinated the hauling with Richard and his team at Cote Trash Hauling and Cleanup. The hauling had been estimated to take two days, but they arrived right at 7:00 AM and finished the entire job in one day! I was amazed by how quickly they worked, especially since the apartment was on the second floor and there was so much to remove. By the end of the third day, the apartment was completely emptied. Richard and his team moved everything we were keeping into storage, transported the donations, and took the remaining junk to the dump. There is absolutely no way I could have handled all of this on my own, especially while juggling work and everything else related to my mom's transition. I feel so lucky that the project went as smoothly as it did! I'm incredibly grateful to Mary, Melody, Erika, Tito, Richard, and everyone else involved. They took a situation that had felt impossible for years and helped my family finally move forward. I truly cannot recommend A Clear Path enough, especially to anyone facing an overwhelming downsizing, hoarding, or senior move situation!!

Jennifer assisted me with the pre-move planning and was compassionate and helpful. All in all, it was an exceedingly positive experience. Highly recommend!

Alice West and the Transform Your Space team are, hands down, the best in the business! I should…read moreknow because I hired Alice 5 times within 6 months. I was looking for a company because I had fallen into the trap of letting things go in terms of getting rid of older items, using my sons old room to store stuff, and generally being lazily complacent in certain areas of my house. Alice and team 'transformed' my walk- in closet and computer desk area, my son's old room (second bedroom) including closet, my kitchen cabinets, and my entire garage. I chose Transform Your Space because of my initial interaction with Alice. I found her website and saw exceptional reviews on various platforms, called, and expected to speak with an operator or administrator, but after talking for a few moments was pleasantly surprised to learn it was actually Alice after she identified herself. I had been going through some challenging times that lead my letting things get so disorganized and I was concerned I might be judged, that the tasks would be too overwhelming as I found them, and that there might be a lack of empathy. All of that went away literally in moments once Alice described her approach to her business and what she could accomplish. She really listened to me as I described what I needed done and my insecurities of letting someone into my home. The caring and ability to relate through her prior projects to me solidified my decision. She let me know that pictures were helpful to prepare her and team for how many people would be needed, time to complete projects, and gave an idea how best to approach it overall. I sent them for the first job and she immediately made me feel better that it wasn't that bad. We set the appointment and she gave me an estimate of the project cost along with the deposit required for the initial work which is later refunded. She also explained that they donate to Goodwill, work with assorted consignment stores, Working Women's Wardrobe (which I did donate some suits to especially after Alice explained that it helps those struggling to find work and need the clothing for interviews, etc). The best part is they take everything away including televisions and equipment of various kinds, and I kept asking Alice, "Can this be donated?", and she never said no! They give you itemized lists for tax purposes and email any done through organizations so you have it for your files. The day of my first appointment, I was still a little apprehensive because seeing a picture can be different from being face to face with the actual 'disaster' (as I referred to it as). Alice arrived right on time with a team member. She had a gentle and compassionate demeanor from the get go and I quickly felt like I was in good hands. She came with all necessary supplies including options to utilize her organizational bins, holders, etc. (she even got me a great plastic compressible ladder for my closet to reach taller shelves and that I now use throughout the house! She thinks of EVERYTHING!) She has a label maker that has made such a difference in accessing what I need after the fact. No more fumbling around and having to take everything out to find something! They bring trash bins and bags for sorting too. Alice is very dialed in to environmental concerns so is tenacious in the separating stages , including if something is hazardous waste. They start by tackling areas and separating items and then ask you to decide what you want to do with it. And before you know it, you start seeing clear progress which is so gratifying especially if you've been drowning in a mess of just too much stuff! As I hired Alice multiple times, it became my choice to stay nearby and work hand and hand to get things done quicker. I quickly realized I had been holding on to too many things that weren't important and she helped me 'let go' and really keep what was and is important. It was cathartic and I felt free from the burden of having so much. The finished product is so overwhelming that I felt like crying in relief! She even has a completion bell that they ring during for success made! I have never been so organized in my life now. I even say "What would Alice do?" when I now put things away in my new, neat world! I also want to give a big shout out to Jenny, Ashli, Lindsay, and Teena who supported Alice and my many projects. They were terrific! If you're reading this and really need an organizing service that does so many things, please contact Transform Your Space first. Best decision I've made in a long time! That was appreciated. We were having our pantry and kitchen reorganized because we just have so much stuff and it made it very difficult to have any somewhat of organization. Denise, another staff member showed up at 9 AM to get started. Forgive me my mind is fried I forgot her name. Things started slow, which is understandable because there needs to be some two-way communication on how things are going to be and how we wanted it to go. Once things got going, we took a step back and let them do their thing. There was a bit of miscommunication on how things were specifically being charged per hour. We had an understanding in our estimate that 10 hours at $100 an hour was what we were budgeting for. $1000. As things progressed, I asked a question regarding how late they were staying since things seem like they were moving a little slow. I was told they were working from 9 AM to 2 PM which is five hours. So the miscommunication was that I was being quoted 10 hours With five hours for each person coming. That's where there was a miscommunication. I do not believe it was on purpose. I think it was just one of those things that wasn't clearly discussed. I can take partial blame for not asking the question, but I made an assumption. The girls stayed an extra two hours to try to finish the pantry. So the kitchen portion was not even addressed. And reach out to the boss Cathy, I explained where there was some confusion. Once it was explained that we were essentially paying $200 an hour for two people to be here we quickly hit our budget limit, which did not allow for a secondary follow up for the kitchen. The girls did their best to get the pantry finished as possible. There were many items that were still left out that we were told we could now figure out where those could go. The pantry is re-organized much better than it was before absolutely. Was it a $12-$1300 worth job? No based on many other estimates we had received this was the highest we had had. But based on recommendations we wanted to go with a group that had a background that seemed to have a strong foundation in this area. This is not personal, Cathy, Denise, and everyone else were spectacular people and I do not believe that there was the slightest intent for the miscommunication on cost. Again, the pantry looks much better than it did before, but there was also a bit of unutilized space considering so many things were left out. That seemed to come from the fact that Denise needed to rework things that the second staff member had done prior. As stated before, Denise seem to have a better vision and honestly may have done a better job on her own. Communication with Cathy is fine. She did try to address the issue by giving us a slight break on how we were paying, but I did make it clear. We definitely could not afford a follow up at what was being charged. My recommendation is this. If you're looking for someone to do a house move or to deal with a hoarding situation or an overloaded garage where you just need a ton of things moved out, boxed up and gotten rid of. They are the perfect solution. If you're looking for someone to re-organize kitchen cabinets, drawers pantry space , this might not be the best choice due to cost alone. They appear to be a fantastic company that does show empathy and care but I think due to the cost loan we would not be able to utilize them again. If you're on a budget, you may have to look elsewhere. Again, if you were doing a major move or you need to clean out the top overloaded area to get things moved out and gotten rid of. They are definitely the ones you want to call. For future in-house re-organization we would have to go with a different option that's more affordable within a budget. $100 an hour per person is just a bit much for the average homeowner. I do think Cathy for her communication and attempts to make things right. Most businesses won't even bother with that. She showed integrity. Again I believe there was just a unclear miscommunication regarding the cost. Having multiple staff on site at the same time. Question apparently I should have asked, but just did not think too. I'm giving them four stars based on the fact that I think they definitely meant well and Denise really did do exceptional work in the time she had especially considered. She was reworking things that had been done prior.
