From the moment I met Joanna for my consultation she put me at ease. She answered all my questions from her sanitation method (new disposable tools are used) to how often she replaces her pigments (she runs out of them fairly quickly way before their expiration date). I had initially intended to have the hybrid (microblading and powder) service, but Joanna was truthful and upfront with me. She explained that due to my oily skin complexion I would not get the desired result from microblading as the strokes will be muddy and blurred once healed because of the excess oil my skin produces. I really appreciated her honesty. I'm also glad that Joanna took her time getting to the desired eyebrow shape and color that I wanted. Every decision from shape to color I was included in which made me feel that she truly listens. She also made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process insuring that there was enough numbing cream where I didn't have to feel a thing other than what felt like a nice massage on my eyebrows. My first session was on May 30th where I'll share a before and after photo. My 2nd session was on July 16th and am currently in the healing process. I will update with the final results once healed. Having done this has made me more confident. My face looks more defined because I have eyebrows again. I had over tweezed them in my teens where I was left with no shape and sparse, thin eyebrow hair. I don't wear makeup daily so I didn't want to draw in eyebrows with a bare face, and I didn't want to spend 15mins drawing them in each time. Joanna has given me beautiful, natural looking brows! I ended up going back to get permanent makeup due to her work ethic and I am beyond pleased! Not only did she make the process beyond comfortable but her attention to detail exceeded my expectations. I was her last appointment of the day and she also had to make cupcakes for her friends wedding and decided to cancel my appointment because she had too much on her plate. Said she was willing to make the situation right but had no clear rush to do so. After nearly 24 hours of no response back- I chose to ask local stylists if they were available as I was left in a pinch thanks to her and she had no clear rush to commit to a new day/time-and she took offense to me wanting to look elsewhere calling me entitled & disrespectful. If I was the one who canceled my appointment day of, I would have been charged. And seeing as the situation causing her cancellation wasn't due to sickness or an emergency just a pure lack of laziness and not wanting to commit to an appointment that was booked 6 weeks in advanced as well an obligation she committed to outside of her work hours. I understand she overbooked herself and felt overwhelmed, however she handled the situation extremely poorly. If I wasnt willing to reschedule she should have accepted the fact she would have had to stay up late to bake these cupcakes she commited to baking or been in a much quicker rush to find a time asap to reschedule me as she really inconvenienced a repeat client. Your time will not be valued by her, so be cautious who you book with here. Can't speak on the other stylists though! Hopefully they have a much better sense of professionalism, time management & care for their clients.

He has a deposit charge which you can Zelle or cashap conveniently to him prior to your visit. The deposit will be taken off your total charge for the braids for the appointment. When I finally arrived for my appointment Sunday was able to get me braided up right away! His braiding technique was so wonderful! It was soft and smooth and worked efficiently. He had me in and very quickly with my crochet style! The salon he has is really nice and open concept and the vibe was great. Very comfortable and down to earth. His mother greeted my daughter and I when we first arrived with a beautiful smile and welcome which really made us feel at home and like family. His mom laid out my daughter's individual braids spectacularly! They were so beautiful and neat! Their pricing is reasonable and the quality of their work is superb! If you want great looking braids that look good and won't take too long to style, please do yourself a favor and visit Sunday and his mom! My crochet braids feel like I don't even have braids in my hair so light and fluffy most importantly no headache or anything from tight braiding.
