I cannot recommend this venue based on my experience. I rented this space for my baby shower, which was one of the most important days for my family. Unfortunately, the venue and the customer service did not meet expectations. Before my event, I originally requested July 18, but I was told the date was unavailable. Then, on July 18, the owner actually called me saying she was at the venue waiting for me, only to later admit she had confused my reservation with someone else's after their booking had been canceled. It was frustrating knowing that the date I originally wanted had become available without anyone ever notifying me. The biggest issue occurred during my event. It rained, and multiple leaks developed from the ceiling. Water was dripping directly over the gift table and another area of the venue, creating safety concerns and forcing us to move things around during the celebration. I have photos and videos documenting the ongoing leaks. What disappointed me even more was the owner's communication throughout the process. I often felt like my concerns weren't important because my event was relatively small. Communication was slow, unprofessional, and lacked empathy. Instead of focusing on resolving the issues, I felt dismissed. Thankfully, my family, friends, decorators, and vendors came together and made the best of the situation, so we still created beautiful memories despite the venue's condition. If this venue addressed its maintenance issues, improved communication, and treated every customer with the same level of respect regardless of event size, it could provide a much better experience. I'm very disappointed with my experience. When I first booked the event, I specifically asked Shauntel if the Christmas tree lights could be turned off, as neither I nor anyone in my family or friends celebrate Christmas. She flatly refused, even though Max, the assistant, initially said they could work something out. On the day of the event, I paid for the "dancing on the cloud" effect to simulate snow for my winter baby shower theme. However, no one contacted me to let me know it wasn't ready. The gathering started at 5 PM, and by 6:30 PM, I still hadn't received any updates. I finally decided to go to the venue myself, only to find the dry ice machine sitting at the entrance, unused. No one thought to notify me that they didn't have the dry ice. To make matters worse, Max called me the day before the event asking about centerpieces and suggested using Christmas ornaments, completely disregarding my clear instructions that I wanted nothing to do with Christmas decor. My baby shower was on December 28th, 2024, and I don't think it was unreasonable to ask for the Christmas lights to be turned off or for the decorations to be neutral. We didn't mind the tree itself--it was the explicitly Christmas-themed elements that were the issue. Now, on January 3rd, I've finally received a refund of $150 for the "dancing on the cloud" effect, but it doesn't include the taxes I paid. The effect I paid for was never delivered, and even if it had been, it only lasted an hour. Additionally, they only allowed one hour for setup, which was insufficient. My gathering was from 5-9 PM, and I arrived at 6:30 PM to make a grand entrance with my husband and children. Unfortunately, the entrance was ruined because there was no snow effect as promised. Overall, I paid $1,500 after taxes, and it was absolutely not worth it. Most of the decorations and winter theme came from my treat/cake table and the hot chocolate and fondant bar that I provided myself. The venue offered a limited winter-themed more so Christmas decorations, which I explicitly stated I didn't want. I hate to write this review as I had so much respect for the owner. However, the customer service I received today was heartbreaking. I rented items for an event and did not receive all the items. I paid an employee 40.00 to meet me and load the items because I didn't read the invoice and see they were closed early on Saturday. I didn't have a problem paying the $40.00 it was my mistake. However on Sunday I noticed I hadn't received the chair covers. I immediately text the owner and informed her. Went to the shop to return the table covers and was told by the owner I couldn't get a refund for the chair covers because it was my fault I didn't make sure her employee put them in the car. I ve uploaded the invoice someone from HER company wrote that says 250.00 refund, chair covers not received..but evidently the Owner feels otherwise so she offered me 25%..60 bucks.. Truly disappointed as I thought so highly of her.. if the items weren't given to the customer upon pickup why wouldn't you refund the money... read more

I was never considered Bridezilla until I signed the contract with Shauntel, Her attitude was self absorbed and my initial consultation was rushed &effortless.#Redflag! The assistant that works in her office was not trained in decorations or event planning so I recieved a couple of calls from the assistant second guessing Shauntel's contract#Red Flag! I clearly tried not to contact her unless unless it was Do or Die but moving forward to my day of my wedding..(3pm start time) Shauntel had the audacity to change the colors of my wedding without consulting me and had no flowers added to the "rings of love"..no flowers on my "welcome mirror" and an empty glass backdrop and had the unprofessional nerve to say to me, I dont see why you upset,what's the problem and its gold, its matches (my colors were coral and gray) She stated that my chair sachets came in 2 days before,color was off.... Then you have the nerve to hand me $20 back for your ultimate f*ck up.. I strongly feel that she tried to sabotage my decorations (few reasons) #1-I told her I was an event planner, very bitter acting #2-I was a black female, getting married at the Country Club and she acted so " Non-Excited,Detached" about my being excited about my wedding.So I guess we can all agree that the Shenanigans like this is what caused you to being fired from Eagles landing country club,Contract stop..Cant water a plant there.. This is one day, We cant redo and you show up looking disheveled and tired but I hired you to do a job and you failed!!
