We trusted them with our home and deeply regret it. At the end of December of 2025, we hired Sunflower Cleaning for a move-out clean of our home before renting it out. We usually do our own cleaning, but due to unforeseen issues, were unable to finish. While the company was initially responsive, the experience quickly turned into a nightmare. A little over an hour after they got to our house (around 9am), they sent us an invoice for the full cleaning service. No photos of the completed job were provided, which was the first red flag. We then asked for photos as proof the job was completed. We didn't hear anything until later that evening when we received a handful of photos. From what we could see from the few photos, the house appeared clean, including the floor still being wet. However, from the photos, it was clearly dark outside. Not sure why an invoice was sent in the morning when the photos with cleaning still in process were sent later in the evening. Not sure what would have happened if we had simply paid the invoice upon receipt earlier in the day without asking for proof. Regardless, after sending the few photos they took, they then asked us to pay immediately. While we were hoping to have someone go out to the home the following day to take a look before paying, our household had a miscommunication and the invoice was paid before we could verify the job had been adequately done. The next day, a friend stopped by to check out the house since we were no longer in the area and that is when we discovered the cleaning was subpar, incomplete, and (most significantly) that our stainless steel stove and been badly scratched (see attached). When we confronted the company about the stove damage, they claimed it was already scratched--even though we had before photos showing otherwise (see attached). The individual we spoke to was immediately very defensive. They also claimed they had their own photos as proof but failed to provide them when asked. Additionally, clearly unaware we had already paid, they then demanded we pay them immediately and threatened to sue us and place a lien on our home due to services being rendered and us refusing to pay. While this is actually not an accurate recitation of the law (there is an exception to paying for services when services weren't fully performed and/or property was damaged), the fact that they threatened to file a lawsuit against us and place a lien on our home--despite having damaged our property--was completely inappropriate and a clear intimidation to force us into paying. I also want to note that I have owned stainless steel appliances my entire life and know what type of cleaners to use. So, while future potential customers can take what they want from this review, I have never had an issue with cleaning any of our appliances and have special cleaning products to avoid damaging them. I also feel the attached photos clearly show the scratches as very recent. We shouldn't have paid them before verifying, but we did and when we attempted to stop payment less than 24 hours after making the payment, we discovered the third-party vendor they required us to use made it impossible to stop or dispute the payment through our bank. This is another serious warning for future customers. BofA could do nothing to help us even though the 3rd party vendor was through BofA. Another red flag to allow them to avoid accountability. Further, even though they claimed they offer touch-ups within 24 hours, we did not feel comfortable allowing them back into our home given the unprofessional customer service, lack of accountability, and their apparent failure to understand how to clean stainless steel without using abrasive materials--something any professional cleaning company should know. We ultimately had to spend an additional two hours cleaning ourselves just to make the home rental-ready and were left with over $300 in damages to our new stove. We chose not to pursue small claims only because we were no longer local. In sum, this company demonstrated poor workmanship, zero accountability, intimidation over payment, and questionable billing practices. Would absolutely not recommend. Please take your business elsewhere.

She told me that since I was a referral I would get the $145/hr rate instead of $165, and if I paid cash I could take another 10% off of that, but when it came down to it she said $145/hr was the cash price. Initial estimate was 4-6 hours, $870 max. She told me she would come with a 4 person crew and "knock the cleaning out", but she only showed up with 3 and that 3rd person left 2 hours into the clean. When I asked how that affected total cleaning time stated not much because that person was old and only counted as 1/2 a person, so she really only showed up with 2.5 people to do my clean. Tamara and her crew spent 4 hours at my house and did not finish, she said she was tired and wanted to do a good job and and there was "a baby issue", she would take 2 more hours to do the kitchen and garage, but just in case asked for 3 total, which I approved. She complained about the job Clint was doing on the floors and said he would need to redo them, I pointed out some areas that were missed on the ground. I was leaving on vacation the next day and could not empty the garage for the cleaning, she offered to empty it and put everything back and not charge me for the time, which I approved. I texted her photos of all the areas that were missed and asked her to keep the boxes that were in the corner of the garage separate and put them back because they were to be to be installed by the furnishers. Tamara and her 2 other cleaners arrived at 0930 on 6/6 and took 4 hours to clean the kitchen and garage. 2 hours longer than her original estimate and 1 hour longer than her "just in case". I received an invoice for $674 while on vacation, the math was not math'ing so I called her and we went through her math together on the phone and ended up at $544, she had no explanation for how she was trying to overcharge me $130 other than she was sick at the time she wrote the invoice up. She asked for payment through venmo instead of a credit card, I said not until someone inspects the property. My furnishers did not find the boxes where they were supposed to be, they were all mixed up and put back randomly in the garage, they said she did a good job cleaning other than some dirt/dust overlooked in the corners, I paid via venmo which was a big mistake. Final total $1044 with couch credit. I inspected my property upon returning 6/12 & 6/13, none of the missed spots I texted her about were addressed, multiple window screens were dirty and reinstalled incorrectly, shutters in garage weren't even touched, many missed spots in kitchen. I sent pictures and told her I was not happy, she said shed come fix it that day and then 2 hours later said she couldn't and said she could go the following day. I instead asked for a 2 hour refund since thats how long it would take her to fix everything, she ranted about being a small business blah blah, I told her so was I and she was delaying my business now. She agreed, asked if she could send it next week since she had payroll taxes, ok. She sent an email on 6/23 saying shed refund me on 7/15, called to tell me it would be much sooner she just wanted some cushion, BUT she wanted to make this right. 7/15 came and went, no refund, I followed up on 7/17 at 0815 & received a reply of "I'm working on it". 7/26 and still no refund. Opinion: Tamara is dishonest, and constantly over-promises and under-delivers. I feel that she took advantage of the situation & intentionally took longer to clean my house to compensate for the cost of the couch. She promised a lot and didn't deliver, then tried to overcharge me until I called her out with her own math.
