I was not home when she cleaned due to my crazy & hectic work schedule. She was absolutely AWFUL at cleaning, she & whoever else cleaned w/her cut so many corners basically she took the money & left a dirty house. I tried & tried to give her many chances to redeem herself but she always had excuses to her poor cleaning job! I agree w/S.K, ROBERT C & BREANNA S, she is basically worthless as a cleaning lady! She and her husband are so kind and courteous every time they come to clean. They are swift and efficient, paying attention to details and inquiring if there is anything else they missed or we would like done. They have great pricing, too! Zelia and her husband Nelson did an OUTSTANDING job for us. We hired them to do a deep cleaning of our 3000+ sq.ft. home and they did not disappoint. They spent the entire day cleaning fixtures, blinds, window casings, tile, and grout. They were efficient, professional and courteous. The attention to detail is what makes them stand out from other cleaners. We were so happy with the results we have decided to contract with them for regular service every other week. **Zelia should be a car salesman rather than a cleaning lady, SHE'S ALL TALK & A SCAMMER ** We were new in town and in need of a cleaning lady and of course who do you turn to, of course "yelp." When we first read Zelia's review she had nothing but 5 stars so of course we were going to use her services. We live in a townhome approx 1100 sq feet. When she first looked at our home. She told us she would charge $500 for the initial deep cleaning, she even told us she would clean in areas that I wouldn't think of cleaning..once again she was all talk, it never happened. She was scheduled to clean once every 2 weeks and she didn't clean well at all! On numerous times I noticed areas that were not clean, when I addressed it w/her, all she said was that she cleaned it and would clean it the next time she cleans which was a lie since she never cleaned it. I even had to send her pictures/videos of areas that were not cleaned. When she needed to reschedule cleaning days I had no problem w/her rescheduling. We all have busy schedules and things come up but when we had to reschedule she would charge a fee of $25 to reschedule, what a rip off! and lastly I don't understand how she has 5 star reviews, are these account false information Zelia herself made up...My advice don't believe her reviews on yelp! I can't comment on her services but I can comment on her prices. $500 for a first time cleaning of a 2200 square foot home home owned by someone with OCD. My house is spotless to anyone who enters except myself. I thought she'd be perfect for the job by her description of services. I'd get all the deep cleaning done that people don't see and that I don't have time to do. I'm sure she does a great job but I can get the same services for a lot cheaper. read more

Zelia has been cleaning my home for almost a year, and every time she comes over, she does a great job. She's flexible, and even when I've requested a different time for her to come, no matter how inconvenient it is, she makes it work. She's extremely friendly and nice, and I feel comfortable having her in my home even when I'm not there. She can text, so that's really nice when I need to communicate with her when I'm in a rush. I've had house cleaners before but they didn't do that great of a job, but they were cheaper. But you get what you pay for. If you're willing to spend 150-200 bucks a month, then you should go with her. She cleans EVERYTHING and not just quickly dust things off then leaves. She's worth every penny. I called her 4 Days before a major holiday and she came and gave me an estimate, she was super reasonable and she cared about customer service. I was a bit nervous at first about somebody coming into my home, and wondered how well they cleaned, but I have been so impressed - EVERY TIME! Didn't Disappoint. I wanted to have my house clean for the start of the new school year. I checked on yelp and Zelia's House Keeping popped up. She is local and came with high ratings so I decided to try her out. She had her husband come help since this was a first time clean. Both were very friendly, brought their own supplies, and both were dressed like professional housekeepers. My house is a modest 1500 sq foot home and they took about four hours to clean it. It looks and feels like a brand new house. They even cleaned my ceiling fans! I am having her over next month to do another once over and to do my sons room, which was just way to cluttered at the time for any cleaning. I would do 5 stars, but I wish her services were a little more affordable. Though I am certain her rates are competitive. I just know, based on our income, that this is going to be a service where I will have to see what months I will have extra money to spend. However, if you can budget around 150.00 or so, it's worth the investment! read more

Zelia and her husband Nelson always come on time, remind me the day before and call me when they have left their last job and are on their way to mine. I am a disabled adult that literally cannot push a vacuum or mop. I can do little things, like wash a dish immediately after it's used and winded kitchen counters and fold clothes, but if I didn't have these two lovely people in my life, not only would my life be more empty for not knowing them, my house would be a mess! Because I can't bend over or reach for things, sometimes I'll ask Zelia or Nelson to retrieve things like my reading glasses from behind the nightstand or my ESA dog's toy from where I've tossed and none of us can get it. They don't even scold me for popcorn in bed, even when the dog sometimes gets into it! They are two giving, Godly souls, whose rates are quite reasonable for all the work they do for me and my mom. My house was in desperate need of a deep clean. I have had other services to my house, but I never felt satisfied with the results. I spent a lot of time of Yelp and kept going back to Zelia's page and reading the posts. I thought I am going to contact her to see if she will come and give me a quote. I emailed her and by the next day I had a response, and then she called to say that she could come and provide a free estimate. Zelia fit me into her schedule. I was at work while her and her husband came, when I got home I felt like I was in a new house. My house is not messy by any means, but just walking in it smelled to clean and fresh. I went upstairs and looked in my shower, I was shocked to see what I had scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed and couldn't get out, was almost out, it looked almost brand new. I wish I had taken a before picture to show you what I am talking about. Zelia is the only person that has made the shower floor look that clean in YEARS!!. I cannot wait to have her back. I've been using Zelia and her husband for about a year now. I've always had housekeepers. They are far and away the best I've ever had! I've never once had to point out anything they missed (and I'm pretty picky). I hate to say this, but I've even "tested" dirt before to see if they would catch it (early on), and they always did. They are always on time, always remind me that they're coming, and they take my special requests that are not on the "normal" list of things housekeepers do (they change my sheets for me). If they have extra time they even do things that I would have never expected them to do, for example, one day I was so busy I just left my clean clothes on the couch to fold later because I ran out of time, I told them just to ignore it and I would get back to it when I got home. When I got home, my house was spotless and all my clothes were folded! They didn't have to do that! It's not in their job description, but it's little touches like that that surprise and delight me week after week! Their rates are extremely reasonable and I love the way my house smells when they leave. Our family LOVES Zelia! We started with a one time deep cleaning of the downstairs of our house. Zelia came by and gave us a free estimate and explained everything that she would be cleaning and answered all of my questions. The day of cleaning she was on time and prepared! She went straight to work with her husband and it was obvious from the beginning that she knew what she was doing. Half way thorough the cleaning I begged her to add us to her rotation. I've tried several cleaning services in the area, from individual self-employed cleaners to the franchise type of services. Although I've been somewhat satisfied with each of these services, I was not completely happy. The self-employed individuals were cheaper but unreliable and took too long. The well known franchise service was always available as scheduled and were quick but cost way too much, particularly for the poor quality of cleaning that they provided. I've now been using Zelia's cleaning services for about two months, and I don't have a single complaint. She always texts the night before our regularly scheduled cleaning to confirm she will be there. She and her husband are always on time and bring all of their own supplies.
