I received the most beautiful arrangement today from Divine Floral! My son ordered it from Tennessee for my birthday. He gave Emily, floral designer, her choice in creating it for me. The flowers are fresh and fragrant; the arrangement is spectacular with favorites (yellow and white roses, sunflowers, white lilies, "Antique" carnations) and some that I don't recognize, which makes it so unique. (I personally avoid the standard FTD designs, when I know that I am working with a talented designer, and prefer them to have the freedom to choose the freshest flowers, and use their own talent and creativity.) We put together the finishing touches on our backyard wedding pretty last minute, but Divine was able to put together 3 beautiful arrangements for us even with short notice (and right around Christmas). I so appreciated their patience and willingness to help me out. I simply let them know which designs Jon and I liked best from their website, our budget, and the general colors/style we preferred. Everything turned out so beautiful! They even delivered them the morning of our (the day after Christmas) so everything was easy and taken care of. I went here yesterday to place a last minute order for a wrist corsage. (I could seriously beat my brother up for telling me about needing one soo last minute- boys. grrr) Thank goodness she was willing to take my order since the other two florists said it was too late to order one for tomorrow. I placed my order at 6:30 pm and the corsage was ready at 3pm today. The wrist corsage came out pretty cute, little red roses with silver ribbon. The corsage was $35 which I made me feel a little violated. I mean .. come on! For that much I could make like 4 corsages. Well beggars can't be choosers and I was a little desperate. ::sigh:: oh the days of hs formals. The shop didn't have a lot of arrangements on display.. I think they're more of a wedding place since there was a bunch of catalogs stacked up on the counter. I don't think I'll stop by here for flower arrangements since I like to see the product before I order, but in a time crunch.. this place will do. :) read more

I received some purple roses for my birthday. The flowers were pretty and the instructions were to fill with cold water so I checked it everyday and topped off. This is not the first time I've received fresh flowers so that was odd to me. The arrangement died on day 6. I was like "no". I told the gifter do not go there again and he told me to write a review because I've gotten roses from other places and they have lasted when I do them as I know how which is to give them plant food (none was provided), my card with my name on it was smeared and he said he was not going to argue with the lady. I also change the water every 2 days because of bacteria, etc and it was cool in the place. So, what kind of roses cost 3 times more than others and die quicker? Not happy at all! read more

My fiancé ordered a floral bouquet for our daughter and a rose, bear and balloon for our son for Valentine's Day. The items were ordered on Friday, February 12th and they were to be delivered on Sunday, February 14th. This was his first Valentines Day with us (their bonus dad) and we were looking forward to the kids getting these special gifts from him. We did not receive any calls, texts, or emails from the company to let us know the items were going to be delayed. The items were just delivered, Wednesday, February 17th without a return phone call from the messages left previously. Although we understand weather may have contributed to this delay, there is no excuse not to communicate with first time customers. They charged him for the full amount without even an apology. Although the orders received were nice, we didn't appreciate not being notified or given the opportunity to cancel. read more

It was my husbands birthday. On a Sunday....and our initial Birthday plans collapsed. I made reservations at a nice restaurant (Trulucks) and wanted to have a beautiful floral arrangement on the table when we arrived. I called around and could not find any place that would make one to be delivered that same day. Mara at DFG made it happen. Not only was the arrangement amazingly gorgeous, she worked with the Uber driver to get it to the restaurant. She made me look REALLY good for my hubby (as if I had planned this weeks ago) and made his bdday very special. The server even thanked us for "classying up the place". Thank you Mara!! read more

Had the worst experience with this company on MY birthday... My brother was out of country and he ordered me flowers through this company to be delivered by 12pm, but I've never received it, so I asked my brother to call the company and double check the time. He had to call them twice until they actually called me at 4 pm!!! I was told that the delivery will be at my door very soon, so we went back home to receive it. At 4:45 I called back to double check AGAIN what time to expect it and I was told "15 minutes". Well, after 15 min I had no flowers and no one was answering the call at their office! At 5:30 I still had no flowers, missed my dinner reservation and no one called to tell me the time! At the end - my flowers were delivered at 6:50 pm (instead of 12) and was left at a different apartment!!! No phone call for me, not to my brother who ordered them.... So much stress on my birthday. Let me start by saying that these ladies are amazing. Now the long story: Last year I was deployed to the Middle East. I had a plan to send my wife 10 yellow roses the first month I was gone and then one less on the first of every month. The last day of each month I would call the florist over google voice and have them prepare the arrangement. On the seventh month of being deployed I had to escort a soldier back home and ended up being able to spend a few days with my family. It was a few days past the first when I went in to physically pick up that months arrangement, I was greeted with some pretty upset ladies. Because I was somewhere over the Atlantic the day I usually called (and obviously unable to do so), they began to worry and even called some personnel in the Army to check if I was okay and not a casualty somewhere. That blew me away. That they had remembered that I usually called and hadn't, and they treated me with that level of personal attachment was mind blowing. The last few days of my deployment, my Dad fell gravely ill and was not able to go in and personally and thank the ladies. Instead, THEY sent me a welcome home arrangement to my house. To further demonstrate their personal care, I realized toward the end of the deployment, they had not charged my Credit Card for the monthly arrangements after he fourth or fifth month. I truly hope that this review shows people who have lost hope in humanity's ability to empathize and connect with one another (as I was before dealing with Divine Florist) that there still are businesses out there that are different. Divine florist surpassed anything I have experienced and they have won me over forever. Please know that the ladies who work here are loving and beyond special. read more

Unbelievable excellent and wonderful service. We were taking flowers purchased elsewhere to our daughter's wedding in Arlington, and the bouquet and boutonnieres fell apart. We saw the Divine Floral sign as we were driving toward the church, stopped, explained our predicament and received the most wonderful response. We were immediately helped, and given floral pins, floral tape, and wise professional advice. They rescued us and our daughter's wedding, and refused to accept any payment.
