I planned to get my nails done, was there early as requested, the owner/employee said via text they're coming in a few minutes. I waited an additional half hour after my appointment time and they NEVER ARRIVED. No texts within an hour, nothing. What disappointing and unprofessional behavior. The manicurist who did my nails didn't apply dehydrator nor any primer when I asked her about it she still didn't apply it and instead continued applying gel, unfortunately if the proper primer isn't applied the gel shellac will chip right off. My nails were completely chipped off within 2 days of getting my nails done. It was really disappointing. read more

This was a pretty expensive nail and pedicure for what I received. I went in for just a reg. manicure and clean up my cuticles. My sister in law notice my cuticles looked worst then when I went. She put lotion on my hands and then painted the nails. All of the polish slid off the next day. They do not have Pedicure chairs with the built in foot spa. They use a home version that you can get at CVS and the water got so cold. Me feet were lightly scrubbed and again lotion and then polish? My toe nails looked like a child painted them. It was the worst service I have ever received. I get my toes and nails done 2 a month. read more

I came in with very irritated (I think Sheila called it "reactive") skin, lots of redness and dryness around my t-zone. Sheila gave me probably the best facial I've ever had and I left with calm, glowing, even-toned skin that only got better the day after. I really appreciated her blend of education - talking me through my skin issues and how to address them and a meditative spa experience - wonderful facial/neck/shoulder massage, custom face mask, aromatherapy, and a comfortable atmosphere. Best pedicure ever! I brought my best friend to WallaWalla to celebrate her birthday last month. One of our treats was a spa pedicure at Divine Serendipity Day Spa. Our technicians were amazing! They pampered our feet, made us feel so relaxed and comfortable and beautified our toenails for a weekend of sunny sandal wearing. If I lived in Walla Walla this would be my new "go to" salon for sure. It's been 6 weeks now and I just renewed my pedicure for a Hawaiian vacation. The polish from Divine Serendipity was still on and looked great. Even the technician at Gene Juarez mentioned how good it still looked. My BFF and I celebrate our birthdays together every year, and we've started calling them "bliss-days" instead of birthdays. Divine Serendipity Day Spa truly put the "bliss" in Cathy's Bliss-day weekend and I hope you go there for some bliss of your own. Serendipity means "fortunate accident". For us, it really was. My sister and I use the Spa's water massage tables. The treatment is so relaxing. It helps loosen the knots in my back and legs muscles by self-regulating the water pressure. We found this place on a recommendation and weren't disappointed. We had been camping and wanted to treat ourselves to a simple pedicure. What a treat! Jennifer and Ayana (apologies if I spelled it incorrectly) worked with my sister-in-law and myself. They were wonderful! We felt like we had booked a spa day. All the employees engaged with each other and their clients. It seemed like they all enjoyed working together. It made for a nice atmosphere. My friend made appointments for herself and for me. We arrived 10 minutes early. The door was locked and there were no lights inside. One of the manicurists (Reena) arrived shortly admitted we did. She was called in for my friend's pedicure and another woman was called in for mine. The other woman did not show up. Reena was not given a key. For a business that states on its door and website that it's open from 9 am to 7 or 9 pm it was quite disappointing and maddening to find that we had wasted our time. read more

I was a little skeptical walking into the small space but they make up for it in quality. I would love to see them move into a retail spot that is representative of their high level of service but until then I recommend them and look forward to returning. read more

We were in town for her birthday and I really wanted to surprise her with a spa day. Because we were only in town for a short time, Jeff worked VERY hard to to set up the only day and time that could work for us. Everything went perfect. I got a basic pedicure and gel manicure on Oct 5th, and I've waited 3 weeks to review so I could provide the best feedback. The gel manicure was spectacular and has lasted longer than any other gel polish I've ever had. It hasn't cracked or chipped AT ALL because it has a slightly more rubbery (for lack of a better word) feel so it can flex a little with your nail. I think the brand is Shellac. Sheila left just enough space at the cuticle so the polish went on without a rough edge so it doesn't snag on things/hair as the nail grows out, which is usually what leads to the end of my gel manicures. It's also still shiny like glass, and I can't believe it looks just like it did the day it went on (minus the nail growth!). The basic pedicure was nice - a good footbath with scented salts and a bit of a scrub, and the nailpolish has also lasted as expected. I highly recommend the gel manicure here, especially if you need it to last (vacation, holidays, wedding, etc). I've posted a photo of my nails after 3 weeks as proof. Sheila also provide a free mini-bottle of almond oil cuticle conditioner to keep the nail bed moisturized, as they can dry out if you have polish on for a long time. I think I paid $66 before tip for everything, which was cheaper than most places I've come across in Walla Walla! read more

The environment at Divine Serendipity is anything but relaxing. The entire spa is crammed into a very small space, and the decor is very hectic. It did not feel like a spa and was very unwelcoming. It was the kind of space that you do NOT want to spend leisure time in. It was not clean. The staff was not professional or knowledgable. I went in for a package deal that I had called to schedule the day of, and when I arrived the staff had no idea what I was there for, even after I told them I had an appointment. Then, I had a massage, and the winds were so strong outside that the trees were scratching and banging up against the walls the entire time, so there was no way for me to relax. When we were done, the masseuse had me get dressed and almost had me pay before the other employee deme members I was supposed to get a facial. After my facial, they were completely oblivious to the fact that I was supposed to get a manicure/pedicure service, and the area was so unpleasant that I didn't want to stay anymore (even though it would've been $20 extra dollars for a manicure and a pedicure), so I just paid full price for the two services and left. I went in for a variety of services that would help me de-stress and enjoy my afternoon, but I left really uncomfoetable and with a huge hole in my wallet. Id really consider other options before going here for any services--unfortunately I won't be going back. read more

Best pedicure ever, and I've had dozens, many more expensive than this one. It took a long restful time because Maggie refused to cut corners in any way. She actually felt the edges of each nail as she looked for rough edges that snag stockings or make polish chip. The salon has a laid-back, comfortable, homey vibe but services are very, very professional.
