We were so excited to share this gem of a store with our family, however, we could not get out of there fast enough. From the moment we walked in we were immediately followed by 3 sales people and could not shop in peace. If we were interested in any item we were relentlessly encouraged to buy. We even overheard one of the sales people comment that one of us had been wrangled up in the front. We love this store and went in with the intention to shop. Unfortunately I heard the bad news that Morgan was let go from Dixie's LLC in Sisters, OR Morgan was the definition of Exemplary Customer Service and truly has/had a way with understanding the customers wants and desires. During my visit to Sisters a couple of weeks back, I took the gang into Dixie's to look around as we wandered the city. Upon entrance to the store we were barely greeted by a fellow behind the counter, giving us a half hearted hello and then ignoring us. We perused the store and found many many quality items, made in the USA and sporting a very obvious western flare. Not that I am a cowboy boot kinda dude, I was drawn to a pair of boots anyway and gave them a look. Well crafted and built to last, I found them to be a really nice pair of boots. I then looked at the price and hey were 1897.99 bones, yowch I had no idea cowboy boots could be so expensive. Looked around a bit more at the boots as this had my mind wandering and saw some normally priced boots in the 200 dollar range and was happy to see I wasn't going crazy. We wandered the store more and a super super friendly lady came up, greeted us with a sincere hello and welcome to the store before asking us if we needed help with anything. I replied hello back and thanked her but said we were just looking around. She smiled - no problem, so let me know if you need anything and she went on her way. It is amazing how a little customer service can go a long way! If I ever do need anything of the type while in Sisters- I will be sure to shop at Dixie's. read more

Road trips are the best especially when they take you to a picturesque town like Sisters, OR & one of the best things about Sisters was visiting Dixie's. Such a great selection of clothing with exceptional customer service. If you find yourself in Sisters you have to stop by Dixie's. read more

I cannot express enough what a bad experience I had. I was poorly greeted by a man behind the counter, I believe he is the owner? He finally asked if I needed help with the $2000.00 dollar pair of boots I was looking at. He just seemed irritated that I was even there, very rude and curt. I got the feeling he is not a people person and that I was invading his home. Why these types want to be in a retail situation is beyond me. It was uncomfortable for reasons I can't even put into words. The product was displayed okay, not great for the prices they were asking. I left without buying anything and will never go back. I told another retailer of my experience and they have heard several experiences similar to mine. Huge change over of employees etc. Not good! read more

I love the clothes at Dixie's, but the prices are a little steep. I bought my western wedding dress at Dixie's and a beautiful embroidered skirt. The western style styles are perfect for Oregon. read more

It was nice to see all of the new merchandise packed in the store and very reasonably priced. When I blow through Sisters, I always stop to see what is new. Prices have really come down since the change in owners and now I don't hold back! The sales rack outside always seem to have something I cannot live without and 40-50% off is irresistible. read more

The best place to shop for western wear and accessories in Sisters Oregon. Bought a Pendleton Blanket and the Travel Bag and the service was great. Great attention to the needs of the customer and the friendly staff reaching out to meet those needs. You couldn't ask for a greater reception when shopping in Sisters. I strongly recommend a visit to Dixies when you visit Sisters. read more
