I had a great experience here! My parents and I went at 8 pm on a Saturday night. We walked in, and it was incredibly clean. They were actually mopping when we walked in. There were two woman working, and they were very helpful. They allowed us to sample the froyo and they were very friendly. I went with cookies and cream with some fun toppings. They have a lot of toppings and the combinations are endless. Typically, ice cream shops are a little run down and dirty. Everything was so clean and the energy was calming. I would have never found this sweet spot if we weren't craving froyo on a rainy night. The search lead us to this bright place and it did not disappoint. There is a good amount of flavors and toppings to fill up on. The swirl of strawberry and original tart yogurt was delicious. I added granola, strawberries, white chocolate chips, cheesecake, and caramel sauce. It was plentiful and did a tummy good. There's a check in offer on the app and it's still reasonably priced. It's an ice cream place near a gym and it appears they only want that type of crowd and are not child friendly at all! All the condiments hang on the walls and if your child so much as gets a sprinkle on the floor you will get looks from the owner and his family that work there. My friends and I had just had dinner and were craving something a little sweet. We decided to try DIY frozen yogurt. The layout was a little weird. When you walk in you feel like you're in a vitamin store as they have many different protein powders and weight gainers for sale, as well as various power bars in the like. You have to walk all the way to the back of the store for the yogurt. I believe they had about 10-12 flavors a frozen yogurt to choose from. Their toppings bar offered a lot of different choices, from Candy, to chocolate, and even popping boba. And then they had a completely different sauce bar with many choices to finish off your delicious dessert. When we asked for sample cups, the employee, who was not very friendly, didn't let us have the cups but had to come out and pour the sample for us which I thought was odd. The frozen yogurt itself was tasty, but nothing out of this world. My very small cup cost almost $8, and my friend who got at least twice the amount I did, paid like $8.26. So I didn't feel like it was much of a good value. I laughed upon check out when the register asked if I wanted to give a tip. Literally the place is called DIY frozen yogurt. If anything I should be tipping myself for doing the work All in all, it was a decent frozen yogurt place, but not one I feel I would return to. It's a weird vibe since the front is a protein supplement store. If you walk through to the back there is frozen yogurt. The flavors were the BEST. Seriously so good. And they had great customer service in my opinion. They came over and made samples for us to try everything first then we picked which ones we wanted. This is a family owned business, it's a cool place! It's super hip, different from the typical chains! Neon lights and wavy architecture as well as wavy mirrors! They have a TV, preworkout, energy drinks, smoothies, wifi, etc.! Loads of seating & space, good for big groups! They have the basic flavors & some different ones, they said they tend to change up the sorbets more often! The toppings are on the wall! It's 59 cents per ounce! Great Frozen Yogurt Place with relatively cheaper prices compared to other yogurt shops! 59 cent/ ounce froyo with a decent assortment of flavors. The only reasons for 4/5 stars come from the limited selection of flavors (about 12 total) and one of the only flavors I wanted to try (cookies & cream) wasn't working. This was made up with the amazing toppings selection though- like pretty fantastic topping variety. Pleasantly surprised. My kid loves going here. It's a little far from the house however, it is very clean, the mall that it's in has a lot to offer from book stores, bars, restaurants, great shopping, easy to get into plenty of parking. I tried out Boynton's newest froyo place tonight. And let me tell you.. it was delish! Very creamy froyo that has a great flavor. With 14 different flavors (.42 an ounce) that they rotate, you can definitely find something to satisfy your sweet craving. The store itself is very clean. White and a pale blue color combo, with a sofa, tv, flavored filtered water and free wifi to make sure your time spent is both relaxing and comfortable. My only gripe here is the toppings station. While it is a cool concept, you cannot control the amount of toppings you receive very well. They have them setup on the wall with dials that you turn for the container to pour out the topping you want. The man working the counter said they did it that way so kids can't put their fingers in the toppings. While I LOVE hand free toppings, I am not in love with getting a lot more topping on my froyo than I really wanted. Either way, I will definitely be back! It's OK as yogurt shops go, but there were several things that I didn't like. *Wasn't greeted when we walked in, not even a glimmer of eye contact. The two women behind the counter were discussing Groupon with another couple at the register. In fact, were still hotly discussing the use of Groupons when we checked out. *Back by the yogurt cups, was a disposable container (think Gladware) of chocolate chip cookies and another of waffle cones. Just seemed, not so sanitary... Not sure I saw tongs. Would have been more appealing if they had been individually wrapped. *Toppings were all hung on the wall in dispensers activated by a turn knob. In my experience, those containers get gummed up, don't dispense the product correctly and just look icky. Also, they're hung on the wall too high for some consumers... *No hot toppings available... What an Epic place! This was a late night stop for a craving. I was amazed by how many flavors they had. The guy at the counter was really helpful and was very forthcoming with giving us samples. I was impressed because it was close to closing time but even so, he was very accommodating. The toasted marshmallow froyo was delish! My boyfriend and I were on the hunt for a new ice cream shop and we discovered this gem nestled in a shopping plaza not too far from my job. He was eager to visit because of the 'Do It Yourself' tag in the name. When we got there, there was only one other customer eating in - an older gentleman. The girl who works there was pleasant. After creating our bowls and paying, we decided to enjoy it there so we sat on the [comfy!] couch and watched TV - which was on the news channel. Cuddled up next to my boyfriend with my shoes off and feet in the seat, I felt like I was at home. It was honestly the best way to end a challenging work day. We stayed there for about half an hour. The froyo was delicious! I'm beating myself up for not taking pictures to attach to this review. I tried boba for the first time which I really liked. I also liked that even though we ate a lot, we didn't feel full and bloated like we do when we eat ice cream.
