This little shop is tucked away in a modest strip mall, but surprisingly, so charming and unique! Their menu of toppings was extensive as was their yogurt selection and obviously a popular place but what made this place especially wonderful were the people who work there. They were so happy and helpful. Just the sweetest servers. I can't remember the last time I've been somewhere where the people who work there seem to really be enjoying their jobs! Like many of the other reviewers, I have been coming for YEARS! I had moved away and whenever I came to visit family, they knew I would have to pop in and get my favorite peanut butter yogurt. About a year ago I moved back to Florida to a community where literally my boyfriend and I can walk to the Emporium so we had frequented quite a bit. With that said, I've had some unusual and uncomfortable encounters here. We learned very quickly not to show up past 9- they start to pull signs off all the flavors and get annoyed with each person walking in as they close at 10. They do so much business that if they chose to close at 9, I honestly don't think they'd lose customers, they would just adjust to their operating hours. Making us feel bad for coming in with an hour left on the clock is not the way to conduct good business. You shut the doors at 10 and then start shutting down the counter. Second encounter- I popped in mid day mid week. Thought what could go wrong? I walk in to an EXTREMELY uncomfortable banter between the lady and one of the male employees where she is arguing that when she is working she is not taking breaks or on her phone. Then turns to me to say could you believe he said he was going to punch me in the face?! And he then proceeded to say- and if I did you couldn't fire me! Honestly, after that situation I didn't visit the store for MONTHS! I was so uncomfortable. Fast forward to today I had a hankering and figured you know what, it's been a minute so why not. I popped in around 6pm, one customer was ahead of me. I order my usual, peanut butter and marshmallow fluff- he fills the cup with the yogurt- no topping. So I asked, where is the marshmallow fluff? He was annoyed that he had to take the top off to then put the topping on it. Then as new customers walked in he kept huffing and puffing. I then order my boyfriends to go cup and while I didn't come in prepared with my stamp card- I noticed he looked at me and then took the stack of reward cards and flipped them over as to make sure I didn't ask for one. Trust me- I don't want it nor do I need it. Bottom line- the customer service has gone down the drain- yogurt is good but I want to feel like I'm coming into a friendly neighborhood joint not a place where I'm an irritation spending my money on an expensive product. read more

Back here for the "upteenth time", we love their yogurt. We usually combine the visit with dinner at Rise Sushi first, since it's conveniently just down the road. First of all, the guys that work the counter are the best! They always remember us and greet us warmly when we arrive. Second of all, you can ask to taste any flavor offered of their soft serve. They will even mix flavors. We love the no sugar added flavors. You can buy quart sizes to take home too. On Mondays, there is usually a big assortment of 2 for 1 on the yogurt in the refrigerator case. This place was great on every level!! Definitely a gem and their look feels like you walked back in time to the 80s/90s. I think it's a very cool place and they give you huge portion sizes. I ordered a small and it was really filled. The worker was really kind and gave us samples to try as well. Not sure if he was the owner but he seemed to be the only one around. In fact, when friends visit Boca and I take them here, they ask me to ship some to them. All their flavors are fat free, and most are sugar free. A cup of medium runs you only about 80 calories!!!! You can try any flavor you want if you ask, but the classic vanilla is the BEST. Also, their low-fat caramel and fudge sauces....to die for. This store has a fair amount of nostalgia built into it. I went there with my daughter in law who wanted to go the night before Thanksgiving because she had many happy memories going there as a child. Even though I had never been there before, I could immediately see what pulled her back.
