My original review was many years ago, when DJS was a small independent operation, they have since come under new ownership and I'm not a big fan. This is a terrible mega business with call centers from out of the country now that "the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing" in my brief experience. I called DJs to come out and snake out my kitchen drain line,two guys showed up,got out his iPad ,came out with a price of over 500.00.also said jetting would be way more expensive but would throw in a camera inspection ,free.holy crap,that's way too much money,he said yes but everythings expensive after covid???.so I said ,no thanks,and charged me $29.00 for the service call, ok,than said I got a cheap service call because today the prices changed and it is now over 200.00.these people are scary,fast talking and acting as though it's all natural.Be careful when you call these people. read more

I should have read the review before I used this company. They replaced part of the toilet and the water pressure and charged me over 2000 it took them less than 3 hours to complete the job. This is outrageous and I should have not been tricked into signing the agreement and ending up paying this amount. Never again I use their service. Stay away this company's unethical business practice. read more

Beyond amazing! They were quick to come out (we are over an hour away) and try to repair our old boiler system. We discovered we needed to replace and Mike, Dave and Spencer were the best during the whole process. I would strongly recommend Dj's. read more

Does not stand behind their product or warranty. Don't return calls or emails in a timely manner. Left me without heat in February in Wisconsin. The furnace was installed a month earlier and was under warranty. Avoided my phone calls and took weeks to return emails. read more

I requested an appointment to get my gas fireplace serviced. We were able to get an appointment within a week. Costs were reviewed in advance. The serviceman came when promised. He was personable, explained options, and taught us several things about our fireplace we would not otherwise know. A part was replaced in short order and we are happily able to use our fireplace gain. read more

Gave them one star because in order to review you have to give them at least one star. They truly deserve zero. Went in to the Monticello DJs. Later called and ordered their top model hot tub paid in full. We were quoted 4-6 weeks for delivery. Called back after 10 weeks of not hearing anything from them and told they had to find our order. They said that they would call us back. We called back multiple times before they answered the phone after again not hearing from them and we're told 3 more weeks. Then, two weeks later we received a call saying that they could deliver Friday. A couple hours later received a call saying our hot tub arrived damaged and they didn't know when we'd get a new one. We were again told we'd get an update by the next day and again never received a phone call and had to call them repeatedly because they wouldn't answer their phones. Finally, after getting a hold of someone they said that they weren't who we needed to talk to and they'd have her call back. Finally, Ann called and said that she couldn't control her employees, she couldn't do everything, and that she was upset that it came broken too. We were upset due to the lack of communication, customer service, and a broken hot tub we just paid over $8,000 for. As a manager she had zero accountability. She charged us a 3% credit card fee (almost $300) even though we received nothing except bad service, a run around and now have to wait 8 weeks for a new hot tub from somewhere else because they couldn't follow through or communicate. Not even sure the charge was legal since we never signed anything. Very thoroughly disappointed in the whole experience and they will never get our business again. read more

Our heat went out this evening and in a panic I started calling around for an emergency visit for someone to come fix our furnace. I called one local place who said they can come out tomorrow. I then called dj's and left a voicemail on their emergency line. Within 5 minutes Donald had called me back. He listened to the issue with our furnace and gave a quick diagnosis. He advised that we clean our fire sensor and gave instructions on how to do so. Thank goodness that did the trick!! Thank you Donald for all your help tonight, you're a lifesaver !! Bought a Reznor garage heater from DJ's. Best price out there. Figured I would just have them install it for me. That is where everything went wrong. I pick the date for installation and take my last day of vacation for the year so I can be home and on-site for the install. I'm pretty excited about this. Welp, after waiting 2 hours past the 2:30 p.m. CST appointment window I called to inquire about an ETA. Get a call from the installer an hour later (now 3 hours after arrival window) to tell me that, "Oh geez man, I'm really busy today and can't make it." Okay, so I've taken my last day of vacation and now you can't make it. We, cordially, talk some more and decide that the very next day would work better. Also, since I took my last day of vacation, I wouldn't be able to be home until 4:30 p.m. CST. He agreed. Welp, 4:30 p.m. the next day came and went. Now that I have the installers cell phone number, I text him to see where he is at. He gets back to me indicating that someone named Megan was supposed to call me and reschedule something with me because, well, he is so super busy again. Call Megan. Megan sounds approximately 18 years old today and, like, starts to, like, tell me, like, well, I'm like new here, and like, I don't know, like all the ropes yet, and like, like, like, like. Whatever. Okay, I schedule yet a new, 3rd appointment another WEEK out, again at 4:30 p.m. CST because I don't have any vacation remember? Day of, I get a call from the consummate customer service professional that, well, they can't like make it today because, "Like, well, I'm new and like I didn't even know, like, that I wasn't supposed to schedule installs after like 4 because like, of all the things they have to do, like put it up and, check certain things, and like...." At this point I ended the conversation, told them to watch for their glowing review out on the interwebs and moved on. DJ's is a small-town outfit incapable, or unwilling, to provide professional service. Unaccountable and excuse-ridden. I should have realized this when I went to purchase the unit and was led to a dark, remote corner of Ace Hardware (DJ's apparent corporate office) where a depressed looking middle aged man in yesterday's clothes sitting at a cluttered, marred-up desk could barely be bothered by me to make a sale. I'm from Albertville and absolutely want small businesses to stay in this town. This one, however, is not worth your time and sanity. Keep looking. read more
