They explained step-by-step all that they were gonna do. Price was very affordable. They were to arrive within an hour window and they actually showed five minutes after the start of the hour. Laid down drop clothes. Left their work areas cleaner than when they arrived. Had an electrician and permits set up. The only company that told me about the rebates and they actually applied for them on my behalf. They even registered the air conditioner for warranty. All of this without me even asking. I had an appointment scheduled on October 4th between 2:00pm and 5:00pm with a 20 minute phone call. I received a phone call from the tech at 2:30pm stating, "I am a few minutes away from your home". I shared, I will be leaving work and will be there in 20 to 25 minutes. He was not happy with that by his tone, but said, "okay". At 2:39pm, I received a call for the office stating, "he needs to leave, and did I note on the schedule to give them a 20 minute call when arriving." I stated "I did," but was told by the office person, "he had to move on and then come back to my house later." I left work to make sure I would be home when they did come back; but at 3:00pm received a call stating they left and I would need to reschedule the appointment. I shared, " I am on my way home, now". But they left... I will NEVER use them again after being a customer since 2013 and spending thousands of dollars with them. I kept hearing, "I am sorry and if there is anything I can do". I kept saying, "I am a customer, wait for me, or come back". They were not willing to treat me like a customer. I was referred to another company by Renters Warehouse but I'm so glad I called HC2... your service was $250 less than that of the other referral!! The gentleman that did the service was very nice and the job was done well. I appreciated the over the phone quote even when I was only able to give problem without your technician making a visit. I had called yet another company (Deans) and the young lady only wanted to book me an appointment and wouldn't event attempt to give me somebody who would even give me an estimate. HC2 worked on my unit before, so they had the advantage of knowing what exact unit was involved... so they did have a leg up there. read more

Overpriced, $275 for a weekend diagnostic and $150 for a 5 minute pressure switch installation. Installed an inferior product (furnace issues throughout my neighborhood within and outside the 2 year warranty window) in a new house and failed to properly communicate the issues with the pressures switches until after the builder warranty expired despite it being a known issue. read more

I had to replace an 8 year old furnace (not from these guys). I had three estimates, and Heating and Cooling Two was the fairest priced. Their installation looked so much better than the guys that did the other one 8 years ago. (again, not them). They cleaned everything up, and corrected an out of code venting on my water heater and the chimney drip thingy. read more

Hired Heating & Cooling Two to replace my furnace. Sales rep was excellent to work with. They were able to schedule the install quickly. On the scheduled day, the workers arrived on time and did an excellent job not only installing the furnace but fixing a few things with the ductwork and leaving the work area clean. Called Heating & Cooling Two about putting in a duct fan. Mark came out to the house and after looking at all the possibilities, recommended against the fan. He also offered several suggestions to help redistribute the air in the house to help warm our cold family room. He re-set the furnace, closed some heating ducts and recommended some insulation around the duct leading to the garage. He said to try it out for a few weeks and if it didn't help, then there were some other alternatives like a wireless thermostat. I was VERY impressed with the service, the knowledge and the willingness to find an affordable solution to the problem . Thanks for the great service. read more

Terrible experience from these guys. They came out to my place last year and diagnosed a leak in my AC line. I didn't have the cash to fix last year. I called this summer to have the work completed. They told me a tech would call me before doing any work. The tech came out and performed the test again and didn't fix the problem. I informed the tech that I wanted the problem fixed, not to have them come out and bill me for another test and tell me what I already know. The tech then ordered the parts and completed the repairs. I paid the tech the day the repairs were done. About two weeks later, I received a call from the billing department telling me there was an open invoice from the initial service call. After informing the billing agent that I didn't ask for that work to be done, he said they wouldn't be doing any further work for me in the future. Don't go with these guys. They don't listen, have poor internal communication, and poor customer service. Time to find a new HVAC company. read more
