At first, they told me they would have to pull the bumper to get to the lights. And they pulled into the bay, came into the waiting room and told me that that was not the case told me would be $238.65. Since they already had it in the bay, I told him to go ahead. Took them about 40 minutes. When I got the bill, it was $185 for labor & $49.98 for the two lights. A few days later I happen to be driving by the dealer and ran in to see what it would cost. It was $162.00 that included labor and two lights. So I dropped into Legacy And questioned the bill. I was basically told I could've shopped somewhere else or told them to pull the car when they told me the price. I figured they'd at least try to match it but they didn't. So I won't be going back if I have to pay dealer prices I'll go to the dealer. They were friendly enough, just not up front and honest. Like I said, according to their website, their prices are better than the dealers. That's definitely not true.

I decided to get another bid and drive by Bobby's Fenton Auto Repair everyday. So I stopped by and he was getting ready to close but was so kind. I explained the check engine light was coding a bad catalytic converter and the vehicle was barely running. He took down all my information and called the very next day. His estimate came back at 1/3 of the first bid. He scheduled me in within a week. He was very affordable and fast, I was even able to afford a tune up w/ new plugs. I dropped off the car before work and it was done and ready to be picked up by the time I got off work. Our vehicle is like driving a new car, we are so excited, no more issues at all and the check engine light hasn't come back on. I have taken our Prius, Odyssey, and my sister's cruiser there for everything from oil changes to AC work to Axle work to inspections. They are thorough and efficient. I am usually in no rush and drop off the vehicle then walk home. They don't do more than they need to - by that they don't intentionally try to generate more work. They have told me when I have gone in for work that (a) wasn't a safety issue, (b) part was OK, just needed to be tweaked, or (c) maybe get it checked the next time. They will have our business for a long time
