It wouldn't roll back up and had come so far off track that it was sitting crooked. I had to manually get it back on track just to keep it closed until I could get an appointment. I called Legacy on a Thursday afternoon, and they let me know they could take a look at it the following Monday. I was grateful to get an appointment so quickly and decided to schedule an oil change as well since it was about time for one. After scheduling, I received a text confirmation and then a reminder the day before my appointment, which I really appreciated. On Monday morning, I arrived around 8:00 a.m. when they opened to check in and drop off my car. I was greeted right away, and the check-in process was quick and easy. They already had all of my vehicle concerns in the system, so they simply confirmed the details with me. Since it was my first time at this location, they also suggested a full vehicle inspection, which I knew would be helpful. Later that day, I received a text with a link to a detailed vehicle report. It clearly outlined what needed immediate attention (the driver's side window) and identified a few other items to keep an eye on. I really liked how the report included photos and easy-to-understand explanations. I called to review the costs of the window repair and oil change and also asked whether there were any other priority issues. The employee I spoke with was honest and straightforward, explaining that the other items could be addressed during a future visit if needed. A few hours later, I received a call letting me know my car was ready for pickup. Unfortunately, I was still at work and wouldn't be able to make it before closing. They offered to send me a payment link and explained that they would place my keys in a secure lockbox outside so I could pick up the car later that evening. Super helpful! Overall, I really appreciated the honesty, communication, and level of service I received. The entire experience was smooth and professional from start to finish, and it's reassuring to know there's a trustworthy automotive shop nearby. I'll definitely be returning for future maintenance and repairs.

I have used Dobbs before and I have been happy with the service and price. This time there was a serious breakdown in communication between the manager and the mechanic working on my F150. It was well established between me and the manager that with regards the rear differential that they were to extract the oil using the positive displacement suction fluid extractor to remove the oil from the rear differential. I did not want the housing cover removed or the gasket R&R. However a two hour job became a four hour job because somewhere the communication between the manager and mechanic broke down and the mechanic did remove the rear differential housing cover. This was a 2017 F150 with less than 100,00 miles and had never experienced any leaks what-so-ever. Only when I inquired as to why it was taking so long was I informed of the situation. I am not disappointed in the work quality, except for the fact that my rear differential looks like a third rated shop performed the task with all the sealant all over the housing. However, I am disappointed with the system failures at Dobbs. One being the lack of communication and staffing. The manager was also performing tasks on other cars while the other mechanic worked on my truck. The computer system there is jury rigged and the manager had to quite frequently shuttle from a computer in the bay to a computer in the reception area, and he was overwhelmed. The shop was severely under staffed and the manager was overloaded with other tasks probably contributing to the communication failure between the two men. Also, they should have provided a lifetime warranty against that seal leaking. It had never leaked since day one and as I said I had almost 100,000 miles on it. I only got 12 months, 12,000 mi warranty on the rear differentisl for leak as I see it. Common knowledge would be when seals are changed the is a greater chance of leaks after that. Now I haven't given up yet on Dobbs, but the higher up guru's need to take a better look at how that shop is managed and operated.

I decided to get another bid and drive by Bobby's Fenton Auto Repair everyday. So I stopped by and he was getting ready to close but was so kind. I explained the check engine light was coding a bad catalytic converter and the vehicle was barely running. He took down all my information and called the very next day. His estimate came back at 1/3 of the first bid. He scheduled me in within a week. He was very affordable and fast, I was even able to afford a tune up w/ new plugs. I dropped off the car before work and it was done and ready to be picked up by the time I got off work. Our vehicle is like driving a new car, we are so excited, no more issues at all and the check engine light hasn't come back on. Life has been so much better not worrying about what to do about repairs to the car. I will never trust anyone else with my vehicle. Thank you Bobby for great and affordable service.
