Took my car in for a tire and oil leak and told them to get it up and running. Ended up paying over 2k just for them to tell me last minute ( a day before picking my car up) that the engine block was actually cracked and that I'd still have to pay for the oil pan and other repairs done before they realized when I had brought it in for a diagnosis as well. They insisted on selling me a full set of tires when I told them no and they tried to replace the single for a few hundred $ but I also told them no to that and when I went in they literally had a new tire on it when I never approved of that. Between the mishaps and the miscommunication from this crew, it was way too much. I'm a long time customer and have consistently brought my vehicles to Dobbs locations throughout the St. Louis County area and this is my first time at this location and I will not be back. Now I have to find another shop in my area to go to due to this. This location is the worst I've been to.

Went through my insurance company for road side assistance. I missed his call originally. I called…read morehim back and he told me what the next steps were. I went to my van and did as he requested. I texted him to see if he got all the information he needed and my number got blocked by the driver. Because I had no way of knowing if he was going to pick up my vehicle, due to my phone being BLOCKED by driver I called my insurance to let them know the situation. The representative told me the driver was rude to her for following up and he hung up on her. He called me and started getting very rude asking why I called the insurance company. I ended up disconnecting my call because of his rudeness and had my insurance call a different towing company. I believe the driver said his name was Michael Hemann.
