We spent that first summer moving an old-fashioned sprinkler head connected to our hose from place to place in trying to save our grass... it just wasn't a long term solution. After researching different sprinkler companies and getting different quotes, we decided to go with LC Sprinklers and Lighting. The owner, Luis, gave us a reasonable quote (comparable to others that we got), but he won us over with his knowledge of irrigation systems and his professionalism. He was responsive and patient with us in answering our questions as we had never owned a sprinkler system before. On installation day, Luis and his team installed the sprinkler system in one day! While we were nervous as to how our yard would look after being opened up for the installation, Luis and team did a great job putting it back together (see picture). After the installation, Luis did a walk through with us to explain the sprinkler system and how to run it with our phones. He was patient with us as we navigated the sprinkler remote app and asked a number of questions. We highly recommend LC Sprinklers and Lighting. Luis runs a great business!

Their response for an appointment, their reasonable price, and communication were different than the other 7-8 companies I've dealt with in the past. Miguel showed up and did a walk-through, asked a few questions, and went to work. He put the system through a test run, we walked each zone to discuss my concerns and issues; and then he came up with a plan to make the irrigation system more effective and reliable. Miguel was very professional, efficient, organized, and very knowledgeable. As I watched Miguel make adjustments to some of the sprinkler heads, you can see the care, work quality, and caring attitude in his performance. He recommended driveway resurfacing instead of resealing to ensure a long-term fix for the large cracks, which I agreed to at a fair price. The team did an excellent job. They used quality materials and professional machinery to remove part of the old asphalt and to lay and smooth the new top layer perfectly. Metropolitan paving did what was contractually obligated but service and quality could have been…read moremuch better. They showed up with their asphalt machine inoperable and then had to shift the install to premixed asphalt that hasn't held up well over the past three years. They then tried to upsell us on a promotional crack fix and seal which we committed to but they said would not be honored if the appointment had to be rescheduled due to weather, equipment breakdowns, supplier issues, etc. As a customer, we asked that they would honor a deal for matters outside of the customers' control but then they reneged. We found them to be a low quality company with poor sales and customer service.

We were extremely happy with Carlos and Advanced Irrigation and Lighting. Carlos arrived promptly…read moreat our appointment time to start up and make certain our irrigation system was functioning properly. Thankfully due to reliability issues with the previous irrigation company that we'd used we had to find a new company. Carlos showed us how the main irrigation pipe was installed at an angle and basically the irrigation back flow valve was forced into the PVC pipe and the possibility of it cracking under pressure and flooding our basement was extremely high. Carlos did a perfect job of fixing that and solved any other small issues with our irrigation system which is now working perfectly.
