Worked with Eduwin to repair the brick steps and landing area at the main entrance of my townhome. Eduwin was very responsive fromnthe beginning and clear as he sent the proposed project and cost estimate. Provides a detailed scope of the project and was responsive addressing any questiins we had. The price was reasonable after comparing with a few other contractors in the area. We had to reschedule the original project date once which was no problem as Eduwin communicated about in a timely manner. The crew of two employees did a good job which was completed in one day and came back to wash the surface a couple of days after completion. I am very satisfied with the result and would not hesitate to consult/rehire Ayala Masonry again.

My husband and I hired Ayala Masonry for some outdoor landscaping on our townhouse, which hadn't been updated in a long time. Edwuin was great to work with--super friendly and accommodating. He worked with our schedule to set up a convenient time for the job. Everyone who worked on our backyard and front yard was absolutely amazing. They did an incredible job, and it was wonderful to see them give our home a makeover. Since we live in a corner townhome, our neighbors also noticed the fantastic work they did. We definitely recommend their team to anyone looking for a company that truly cares about its clients.

    Step-Walkway with Pa Flagstone

Quality and Responsiveness Ayala Masonry is the most responsive contractor I have worked with. They installed a flagstone porch and front step walkway and re-graded a portion of the backyard with new sod. From start to finish, the operations manager kept me informed, answered my questions, and worked to design the project(s) to fit within my budget. There were no hard sale tactics, just recommendations and options. They kept to the original schedule (which is very unusual in my experience!) and made sure everything was done in a quality way. They even have a 2 year warranty which gives added peace of mind. I would gladly work with them again. Attached are pics of the new porch/steps.

Prompt, reliable, communicative, professional and thorough. Ayala masonry knows their craft and delivers on their promise. A pleasure to deal with and have been very clear and transparent from start to finish. Highly recommended, and will be using them for other jobs in the future.

After five years, this is what happened several places on my patio..and so many weeds in between pavers.... Ah...so this is the response to the owner's response. So, because it's poorly maintained, the pavers are popped up like this? Oh I see....

    New Front Walkway

Edwuin and the rest of the Ayala team did a great job with our fairly sizeable rehab project. They replaced the entire driveway and front walkway, as well as the entire back retaining wall and rehabbed some of the other walls as well. They were very professional and responsive to any adjustments or issues we brought up. We are very happy with the finished product.

    Herringbone pattern - love!

We had a great experience with Ayala Masonry! Edwin was always very accessible and informative throughout the whole process - from the bid, to working details out with our HOA, to writing up the contract and answering all of our questions. Any time we had a question or concern he was very quick to respond. Marcelino and his crew did a beautiful job with our brand new brick paver patio and we could not be more happy with their professionalism and craftsmanship. They ended up doing a herringbone pattern that is just stunning. They showed up ready to work and they were also very kind and patient with our curious kiddos who wanted to see all of it- haha. Overall we will be happy to recommend Ayala Masonry to anyone looking for quality and affordable masonry. Thanks so much!

    Before and after photos!

This is almost a year late, but we hired Ayala Masonry to repoint a brick wall for us last fall. Edwuin was extremely responsive, providing consistent updates on any delays, and providing excellent service. The gentleman that repointed the brick did a beautiful and careful job. We also asked for two rails to be cut, and the points that connected with concrete were flattened and filled. He also filled into some cracks on our front steps for free and cleaned the area immaculately. The job was completed in a day, and we were blown away by how well done it was--we will definitely be coming back to this company for other masonry work (and painting as well!). Thank you, Edwuin!

Initially we were given two options for the egress window. 1) cut out the top of the concrete and use a wooden header - this was the cheaper option. 2) leave concrete at the top and install a metal support. We requested this option and paid the amount for this. However the wooden header option was completed which did not match the rest of the house. We were told this was the only possible option yet we were charged the price quoted for the concrete/metal header. We didn't complain; however, soon after we discovered the window was leaking so much air that it was whistling when we had windy days. You can even see light through the side of the window. We sent photos and a video showing this and someone came out to our house twice to verify this, but they fixed nothing. We have been told repeatedly that it's an issue with the window manufacturer and someone would get back to us with next steps. Our whole basement finishing project is on hold and it will cost us even more money to bring contractors back to trim and paint the window after it gets replaced, not to mention increased utility bills and the potential for water damage. It seems our calls and e-mails are being ignored. We tried to get this resolved civilly, but it looks like we have no choice but to hire an attorney.

No sales pitch, no non-sense, down to earth, and personable, just what I was looking for. I need someone to fix it once and for all! The work looks great. Sam's crew left our yard and basement spotless in a better condition than it was in before they got there to do the work. I have complete confidence that this pesky crack will no longer be a problem for me. I highly recommend.

While…read morehe's quite personable and gave a great report, he didn't notice the basement leaks etc until we pointed it out. However as I said, he's personable. Fast forward a year, and we're finishing the basement. Our contractor went to put in the new plumbing and our foundation was a mess. Got two quotes for sump pump systems, one from Sam and one from our contractor's work experience. About the same, so we went with Sam. Sam never showed up but sent his team who appeared to work hard and diligently. Older house so they broke the main sewage line leaving our house. Our problem of course. Later, luckily before we put in carpet, noticed the middle of a room was leaking from the floor up. Looks like they agitated the line running to the upstairs laundry room. Again, our problem. A year later, the pipe that runs to our line that goes out to the culvert, is leaking all over our concrete patio. Contact Sam (third time) and he tells us, not his problem, call a plumber - should be an easy fix. Call the plumber, he comes out and says no i'm not going to fix it because this is such a poor design that it will just happen again. Oh and by the way you are lucky that the water never froze in this pipe (the design has it going "uphill") since that would have broken your sump pump. Now, we have to investigate how to re-design the layout and plumber will come back to fix. Thanks Sam - no expertise or service provided.
