We were flexible on start date (and we needed it for some weather), but his crew got right to work. We wanted the grout between the bricks on the front stoop and walkway to be repaired and rotted boards replaced in the yard shed. The project was done on time, fully cleaned up after, and the team didn't block the driveway in the process. His guys even found a way to reused some of the removed boards to fix some spots in a way that really hid the repairs. His communication was good and timely. Ayala Masonry recently repaved my parent's backyard patio and while I was not a part of the direct interactions, my parents spoke glowingly about the work and service provided. A little bit of background: my parents are getting up there in terms of age, yet remain fiercely independent and like to handle things on their own. So when they told me they had hired someone to redo their patio, I was a little nervous. They aren't naive, but I would be lying if the thought of my elderly parents (who don't have any experience in this sort of industry) getting ripped off didn't cross my mind.
