I went to look for items from the country…read moreof Georgia, and found several items, including mineral waters (Borjomi and Nabeglavi), they also had Naktaktari tarragon lemonade, and several Georgian foods including Thkemali sauce, khmeli suneli spice, and several other foods I used to enjoy in Georgia including Jacobs coffee, Turkish coffee, Mayo and ketchup in the pouch, etc. They have a cooler of cheeses, kefir, fishes, and meats, a deli, as well as a freezer of dumplings, ice creams, cakes, and other frozen items. There's an aisle of sweets and an aisle of baking ingredients. Another aisle of non perishables, and drinks, and bulk candies as well. Even a pharmacy. Really a great variety and different items than what I've seen at other Eastern European stores in the area. Highly recommend!

They have one of the largest selections of Kvass that I've seen out of any of the Russian/Ukranian stores and all very reasonably priced. They also sell Kefir. As mentioned in the previous review, they also sell medicine/pharmacy that you'd typically find in Russian and Eastern Europe, so it's pretty unique to see it out here. Store clerk was friendly.

They also make rice noodles and soy milk fresh. I saw in a previous review that there's a chance they don't give the sweetened soy milk but there's labels and you can check it yourself... They have it in the fridge separated by sweetened and unsweetened and it's all freshly made. I usually get their flat rice noodles a little over $2 a pound, bring it home, and stir fry it myself. Sometimes it's still hot in the bag so I bring an envirobag to make sure the heat isn't too much. Also, make sure you don't go too early because they don't usually make it until noon so if you go earlier than that, they won't have any in stock. The staff is generally friendly and are helpful if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. They'll tell you what is freshly made and what is in stock. Overall, they're a great supplier of soy milk and rice.

Some traditional Cantonese style desserts include fermented steam rice cake ($1.50) and bowl shaped rice cakes with red beans, as well as traditional Vietnamese desserts included pandan coconut milk mung bean cakes ($3.25) and coconut milk cakes. Vegans will be delighted to learn that these traditional sweets are all plant based! No modification or special request required! I am look forward to picking up some fresh tofu and soy based products in the future! On a recent visit, there also seems to be Buddhist style vegetarian platters refrigerated as well! This is such a exciting discovery, as it adds to new vegan options in this already vegan friendly neighbourhood! The vegan God must be blessing this area and sprinkling it with extra star dust!

Inside is a little cramped but you're getting your meal to go so who cares? I find it's not easy to tell the difference between some items on the menu, so browse the glorious things in the display and order away! Loads of sandwich options on either croissants or crusty French long buns, made to order empanadas, generous cookies, and several rice-type dishes. I always order the marinated tofu poblano sandwich that comes on one of those French buns, and is so flavourful you'll question if you actually ordered tofu. One of the best sandwiches in the city! Order a bowl and they'll PILE it up with all kinds of things you've never had in a bowl. My man said this was all excellent. Good though small cold section for take-home dips and spreads, as well as freshly ground coffee, and bottled/canned drinks to go.
