Cream Cheese Danish, Vegan Orange Olive Oil, Valrhona Chocolate Cake

Do Rite did me rite! On this trip I got the cream cheese danish, Valrhona chocolate cake, & the vegan orange olive oil donuts. As expected, I loved the danish donut. It's a perfectly fluffy yeast donut with plenty of decadent cream cheese frosting on top. If you love cream cheese desserts like I do, you'll be obsessed. The Valrhona was also great. The cake donut was perfect texturally & that chocolate is something else. The combo of the glaze + ganache is bussin for lack of a better word. However, the reason why this visit is 4/5 stars instead of 5 is because the orange olive oil donut was pretty dang dry with not a whole lot of flavor - the orange flavor was barely there. Maybe the dryness is because the donut is vegan, but regardless, skip this one. Beacon Doughnuts has waaay better vegan donuts.

Chicken Sausage Sandwich, Cold Brew, Chocolate Frosted Donuts

After my workout, I was craving donuts, so I decided to stop here. Cute coffee shop right off the Addison Red line. The server (Brandon) was friendly and said hi to me. I ordered a cold brew, 2 chocolate frosted donuts, and chicken sausage with no egg and mayo. The cook messed up the sandwich, and Brandon said he was sorry about the order. 2 minutes later the cook made the sandwich correctly. I have been to other locations but this one is close to me and I will be back again

My youngest son and I stopped to grab a quick snack before the game. As I expected the donut options were minimal. I chose an apple fritter while he chose a chocolate glazed donut. From first glance the store looked clean, but when we tried to sit down all the tables were sticky. The tables and trash area were in desperate need to be wiped down, trash removed, and refreshed. Plus, the employee working the counter looked like he was in dire need of leaving. He looked exhausted! My Apple fritter was very tasty in comparison to the chocolate glazed, and you could tell they were older (as expected). I would love to stop by when the donuts are fresh for comparison.

Delicious post game sugar high! The buttermilk old fashioned was perfectly fried! The owner was incredibly friendly!

Can't believe I haven't reviewed Do-Rite previously. This is a spot that we sometimes overlook (to our own detriment), but it always delivers! This morning we got a variety of absolutely stunning donuts, a number of breakfast sandwiches, and some coffee. Although the sandwiches had to travel and weren't 100% fresh, they tasted amazing. Even the second day, we were very impressed. The donuts were also fantastic. From the presentation to the silky texture, both adults and kids were happy campers. We liked how the donuts were slightly less sweet than other options in our area that can sometimes be cloying. I generally like more plain donuts, so the chocolate cake was my favorite. A glass of milk, half and donut and half a bacon breakfast sandwiches just about made my day. Service was fast and facilities were clean when we picked up! We will definitely be back more often!

I've been married almost 35 years - but if I was just getting, these doughnuts would be my wedding cake. I have 3 grown children - but if I were having babies again for the first time, I'd give these doughnuts out instead of cigars. (To be fair, cigars are gross and aid never give them out - but that's beside the point.) We were here from TX visiting our son. But honestly, I'd fly up here just for these doughnuts! Raspberry - Maple Chai - Blueberry - Pistachio Lemon - anything chocolate. Just do it. Worth the travel....

Right outside Wrigley Field, Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken delivers a surprisingly bold twist on the classic spicy chicken sandwich. The star here is the juicy, well-seasoned spicy chicken, paired with creamy coleslaw and crisp pickles -- but the real kicker is the donut bun. It's an unexpected combo where the sweetness of the donut plays beautifully against the heat and tang of the fillings. The flavors clash in the best possible way, making every bite exciting. The Wrigleyville ambiance adds to the charm, especially on game days. The spot has several tables, making it a good place to hang out before or after the game. Service was impressively quick, even with the crowds, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also had the classic maple bacon donut while waiting for my order and the best part was being able to enjoy my sandwich inside the stadium! Love that! If you're looking for a fun, indulgent treat with a creative twist, this sandwich is absolutely worth it. Parking is scarce, worse on game days.

I have heard good things about these donuts, so we decided to try them finally! I ordered them delivery and they picked out the 1/2 dozen assortment. My review only can speak for the donuts currently although they offer chicken, breakfast sandwiches, etc. These donuts were amazing!!! Really really fresh and lots of flavor. I was surprised that I really liked pretty much every option. My least favorite if I had to pick was the birthday cake sprinkles donut- just because it had a lot of white icing which isn't my fav. My most favorite ahh probably the chocolate covered cake ones. I will absolutely be back to try more. Highly recommend overall experience 5/5!!!

Decent option for cheap eats near Wrigley, especially if you're looking for an egg or chicken sandwich. Their donuts are around $3-$4 each and there's a variety of flavors. Unfortunately they didn't have a red velvet one which is my favorite.

Good donuts and even better breakfast sandwich. The bacon egg breakfast sandwich is one of my favorite. Bacon is nice and crispy. The brioche bun toasted soft and buttery.

Wide variety of the donuts selection.

Quick pitstop for a morning coffee, and a freshly baked donut turned out to be a good choice right by the Chicago's Wrigley's field. Good donuts selection with a bit on the lighter side coffee will get your charge for the day. Excellent view on the famous Wrigley Field gives you another boost for the day. Way to go, Do-Rite team!

It's been awhile since I've had Do-Rite donuts. The last time I had them, I tried their donut chicken sandwich and really loved it. This time I bought a dozen donuts and realized how delicious these damn donuts are. There's really not bad choice here, but my favorites were their French crueller and their old fashioned. Both tasted very fresh and sweet. I definitely gotta stop by here more often.

What I can't get over is the gentleman sitting every day for hours and hours with his dirty bare feet on chairs that customers sit in. You can see his grimy feet and the slippers he leaves on the floor. It's really gross because when I brought my friends for the first time, there were no tables available except for the one he always uses to put his dirty bare feet on. So we had to sit with his smelly feet as our "neighbor" just a couple feet away. If he's homeless, I have a lot of sympathy for him. But he obviously had sandals which he doesn't use when he puts his feet on chairs, and nobody should be putting bare feet on chairs that people sit on in a cafe anyways. If he's a regular, he should know to respect the cafe, the owners, staff, and patrons better. He also takes up that whole half of the long table by the front so that no customers can sit there. And nobody would want to use that chair he has used for his dirty feet anyways. Please inform him politely it's causing a distraction and is a health hazard. There needs to be some standards at cafes for sanitary reasons even if it's not crowded. It's just pretty gross.

I went around 6:30pm on a weekday and things were pretty quiet- although this seemed to be popular for takeout, the interior was very cute and there was ample room for seating. They have an extensive menu of delicious sandwiches on homemade bread, so it was hard to pick just one! I opted for the roast beef sandwich, and it could have definitely lasted for two moderately sized meals. It took a bit longer than expected to come out, but it was perfectly toasted and truly made to order. The unsung hero of the sandwich was the rosemary ciabatta bread, which added that subtle extra flavor that would remind you this is a speciality spot. The avocado and grilled onions with melty cheese made for a well rounded rich flavor. I do think the beef could have been a tiny bit fresher and think a more flavorful aioli would have upped the sandwich, but overall it was still tasty and satisfying. I would definitely return to try more of the sandwiches and recommend paying a visit! I

I've been a customer of almost 10 years and have been obsessed since they first opened their doors at a different location. I literally live an hour away without traffic and even longer with traffic, but I make sure to stop by or send someone else to get it for me at least once a month or more. I love the amazing cakes that are so delicious and unique but on top of that, it is Asian owned, LGBTQ supporting, etc. A lot has changed since their little storefront with no seating. The bakery is now a full on cafe and I'm so happy to see how much they've grown and how successful they are. And while it is glorious, I will say I miss the sweet neighborhood charm and great customer service it used to have. Getting in touch with the bakery through phone or text can be tough and to be honest, sometimes one of the people working there is kind of...very mean. It had me questioning if I should keep coming back. I just love this bakery so much though and being raised by parents that had a small food business, I can't help but want to support. I had a particularly difficult last minute request for the bakery a few weeks ago and I was reminded why this place is so great. It had been YEARS since I made this specific request, which was an order for a slice of cake for every flavor and a cupcake for every flavor. This is a BIG and time consuming request, especially if it's last minute. Unfortunately I come to the city whenever the traffic isn't atrocious, so it's always last minute. Dom absolutely pulled through though. Even though there were other employees there (I saw two others but one disappeared and then another male was kind of walking around the cafe and such), Dom took this giant request and fulfilled it himself. The other gentleman (not the mean person previously mentioned) was actually who I made the request to, but he told Dom to do it. I was kind of confused why they didn't do it together but idk, maybe the other guy isn't allowed to handle food? Who knows. Regardless, this request obviously took a long time and the line was getting longer; people were getting a little restless but Dom stayed calm but was swift. I swear he was moving faster than most people in the industry could with a cake knife like that. He was not impatient or rude to me at all. He was just there to do his job as fast and well as possible. It's so rare to see that type of work ethic. He is also so obviously proud of the bakery and the food they serve which makes you feel good about being a patron there. So although I continue to have an unpleasant experience with one particular employee there, Dom keeps my love for this bakery alive. He reminds me of what this bakery was like when they first opened their doors. I hope Dom is cherished there and I bet he is considering his work ethic. I will continue to support this bakery and I recommend everyone else to support as well. It may not be that small little shop anymore but Dom is a reminder of the heart of the place.
