I'm not a frequent donut eater, but I wish I had a Do-Rite near me! The Blueberry Crumb was like no donut I'd ever eaten, similar to a muffin in it's airy texture, but far better than that as well. I went on a donut run after hearing about this place. I was not disappointed. The place appeared nice and clean on the inside. There was a good variety of different donuts to choose from. They even offered a vegan donut. I have found that the donuts up north are a little different from the south. The donuts are larger and the dough seems to be more raised. Old fashioned glazed is also very good. Outside shell has that crisp when you bite into it. But inside is sooooo soft, moist and delicious. The flavor is good but it is INTENSELY sweet. Sooooo much sugar I couldn't finish it but in hindsight eating 3 donuts was kind of a happy mistake. But very yummy, if you have a sweet tooth this is will be your paradise. Had I paired it with some coffee I would have finished it. Vanilla regular glazed was a mistake. It was bad the first time and it was bad the second time. Like the flavor is there, the inside is soft but dry. And the outside glaze is also dry. Just not a pleasant experience. Never gonna get it from here again. I'd much prefer stan's regular glazed. These donuts are it. They are delicious. Highly recommend the old fashioned donut. It actually might be my favorite old fashioned I've ever had. The outside is crisp and I think that somehow makes the biggest difference. Maple bacon is always a winner as well. I am a big fan of a chocolate iced donut but their chocolate is a bit too dark for my taste. I am, admittedly, a milk chocolate fan. All in all, though, delicious donuts. I've had them delivered on multiple occasions and I've never regretted it. Just make sure to put in your order either first thing in the morning or, even better, night before. Went there for lunch and ordered the Breaded Pork Tenderloin Sandwich it was ok with one exception the meat was a little "skimpy" when you compare it to their Fried Chicken Sandwich. I've been to their Streeterville location and their Pork Tenderloin Sandwich is much bigger, that's why I ordered it again at Wrigleyville. The coffee and the glazed donut were good. I ordered a medium coffee and a chocolate old fashioned. Coffee was decent. I believe they serve Dark Matter. I prefer to add cream & sugar myself so the girl behind the counter had me add those to the empty cup and then she added the coffee. Kind of weird but they have no bar to do it yourself. I also tried their blueberry crumble, pumpkin, and coconut donuts. These were all pretty boring. The pumpkin only had a slightly hint of pumpkin flavoring and the creme on top wasn't very flavorful either. The coconut donut was filled with more coconut and was overwhelmingly coconut flavored and much too heavy. The blueberry crumb was again plain and had too subtle of a blueberry flavoring for me.
