Look no further than Armando and Armando if you want a hardworking, honest painting crew. They use high quality Benjamin Moore paints, give very reasonable estimates, and don't cut corners. They repaired my eaves including scraping, sanding, and sealing - even replacing some sections of dry rot with brand new wood. They spent time where it was needed, including patching the stucco where my walls were slightly damaged. The end result is that the guys were a pleasure to work with and my house looks brand new. Well Armando Gutierrez, owner of Doorman's Painting inspired me to give him the credit due him. I got his name from Next Door awhile back and finally called him to give me an estimate on painting the outside of my 2 story house. I sent 4 or 5 painters a video of the job for ballpark and called in 2 to see it in person. He was $10,000 lower than the other company and you wouldn't know it from the fantastic job they did. His team of 4 swooped in, patched stucco and fixed things I did t even ask them to do. They came on time, didn't miss a workday, cleaned up after themselves every day, and they were so polite, respectful, hard-working and eager to please. I didn't want to pay a lot to paint as I'm doing some other projects, but it had been 20 years and the house was screaming for a facelift. You are all wondering what I paid for my 2 story house- less that $12,000. I couldn't believe it either. Nothing was a problem for them- like can you work on other parts of the house so you don't disturb people in guesthouse until 10 am? No problem. Armando and his dad (Armando) are both extremely pleasant to have around, and excellent painters. They were so careful and neat, yet pretty quick and efficient, too. I had them do walls that had to match existing stuff, cabinetry that needed to match a factory spray job, a detailed front door, lots of trim, louvered doors with a lot of detail... meaning, lots of changing textures, colors, and things that needed minute detail, and they handled it all beautifully. When they finished inside, we had them come back and do all the stucco and eaves as well. Again, a superior job, and Armando Jr. even tipped me that Sherwin Williams was having a 30% off sale that month, and he let me go grab the savings, instead of taking that as profit for himself. They came out quickly to give me an estimate for exterior painting, stayed in contact before the job started, and were 100% reliable. They finished a few weeks ago and my house looks terrific. Wow, where do I even begin with this wonderful company! From beginning to end, our experience with Armando and his team was outstanding! We purchased a fixer home with wallpaper in every room, wood boards on random walls, cracks on almost every wall, pop corn ceilings... and they repaired and painted it ALL with impeccable quality. Every step of the way, they were accommodating to our needs and our schedule (which we changed over a dozen times and they were completely understanding and kind about it.) I honestly think it's not necessary to get any other quotes when you go with these guys. We compared quotes with 3 other companies for painting and 1 other company for installing floorboards, and they were by far the best rates. And at the end of the project when all was complete, Armando even took us through a walkthrough of every party of our home to make sure we were satisfied with everything.
