I am a 26-year-old with a LOT of complex health issues - chronic illness and pain, history of trauma (sexual violence and a traumatic assault where I survived being stabbed multiple times), and then at the beginning of 2021 I fell and severely injured my spine and tailbone. Dr. Jaime Young has always listened very intently and compassionately and gave knowledgeable suggestions for treatment options. I am very cautious about taking prescription medications and she has always answered all my questions transparently. She is very prompt with sending prescriptions, and she helped me get a disability placard for my car which was long overdue. I've had a lot of issues with my insurance, and changed insurance a few times since being her patient, but she and the office staff have always been patient and helpful in sorting it out. Dr. Anthony Jones is also wonderful, although I've never been seen by him personally, he has helped with approving an emergency refill on my prescription when Dr. Jaime Young was out of town and I had an insurance issue. I highly recommend both of them as PCPs!

I am happy to see that Dr. Konstantin is refusing to give random people narcotics. I worked in a 1000 Rx a day pharmacy and these people are doctor shoppers whose regular doctors won't give them narcotics so they seek out other doctors and then get disappointed and aggravated when they don't get their drugs. This makes me want to give Dr. K more stars! You don't go to a doctor to get drugs. You go to a doctor to get treated to feel better. It doesn't always require drugs, and you should be glad if you don't need them.

friendly and professional. i went here to get my USCIS…read moreimmigration medical exam, they were able to schedule me in the next day and were on time. they were able to provide me with the blood test for TB instead of the skin test, which is the only test that most USCIS approved physicians provide. for me the skin test would have come out false positive since i got the BCG vaccine as a baby, and resulted in my having to take a chest x-ray... the blood test is expensive but i'm so happy i did not need to go through the whole x-ray thing as happened to some of my friends who were forced to take the skin test. the doctor also went through my recent medical records so that i didn't have to pay extra for any lab tests that had already been done in other facilities. i never felt rushed, and they took the time to answer my questions. i really appreciate their service and would go back anytime.

That may be the general guideline but I have a family history of colon cancer. The recommendation for colon cancer screenings for people with a family history is every 5 years unless something abnormal like polyps are present. I gave her a document of my medical history that I always bring to new doctors (first saw her in 2016) and I have a section on my family history. When my current PCP referred me to a GI for unexplained abdominal pain, my GI doc said I should be having colonoscopies every 5 years based on my family history. I stopped seeing her in September 2017 because I moved to Fremont and found a great doc at Sunnyvale's One Med location (though sometimes I go to Palo Alto because I work in Menlo Park). Overall I thought Susan was a caring doctor who listened to her patients but maybe needed to review my records more thoroughly before deciding when I needed a colonoscopy. I think she might have been inexperienced so maybe her recommendations will be more accurate as she becomes a seasoned doc.
