We had great experience coordinating with FUSE to repair the ice maker on our Viking refrigerator…read more They were very responsive to my initial request for a quote, including a call from a supervisor to hear more about the issue and try to issue a more informed estimate. (Ultimately unsuccessful, but I appreciated the effort.) The technician, Bek, was on time, courteous, and very open about explaining everything he inspected. In just under an hour, he was able to diagnose the problem and replace our ice maker, which he had on hand. One small critique-- it caught me a little off guard to see a tip option on screen when making my payment, but in this case I obliged, considering how well the whole appointment went. I guess that's just tipping culture these days! ‍

I hired Fuse Service when they were Switch Service and they fixed my dishwasher. Vlad, the…read moretechnician, found out that he needed to order an additional part to fix it and would need to make an additional trip. I assumed he would charge for the follow-up visit, but there were no additional charges; I really appreciated his honesty. Recently, I had a text dialog with Russ and found out that Fuse service's HVAC systems as well. I agreed to an annual maintenance plan, but didn't plan on having them out until fall. A few weeks later, while I was out of town in July, I got a message from my Ecobee thermostat indicating that the A/C wasn't working. I texted Russ about this and he showed up after 6PM on a Saturday, the same day I texted him about the issue! He figured out what was wrong right away and just folded the service call into my annual service plan which was, as before with the dishwasher, very generous and much appreciated. I'm literally excited to have Fuse Service as my go to place for appliance repair and HVAC maintenance. I'm used to businesses asking me to write positive Yelp reviews and I don't mind that. But, Fuse did not ask me to write my review.

So, that seemed a little outrageous. Contacted nick and from the onset knew that this would be a different experience. Let the glazing begin! Cannot say enough about nick and the business that he runs. Was a pleasure to work with him diagnosing the issue (he took a look at the photo l, asked me to retrieve the model number on the stove/griddle and saved me that absurd 210 fee) - gave me variable pricing between generic and OEM parts, and was quick to schedule service rather than having a lead time of weeks out like the other companies were requesting. On top of that, he went out of his way to take a look at my dishwasher as a courtesy as it was giving us an error just before he left our home. People like nick remind me that there remain honest and hard-working service people out there. Super glad that I found his company and would not hesitate to have him out again to perform any repair as needed. Thanks again, nick!

Technician was assigned through warranty company…read more The technician arrived to diagnose an error in our dishwasher and was under prepared to manage the repair meaning: 1. Took 30+ minutes to remove supply and drainage lines in order to move appliance 2. Forgot to turn water off under cabinet causing flooding and was not prepared with rags or buckets these are things I had to supply Once problem was discovered they explained that parts would need to be ordered The following week, without proper notification, the technician stated they were on the way and would be there in 20 minutes Upon actual repair the observations were the same as above and now comes the additional issue of the gasket being warped because of the tugging and pulling. The dishwasher will operate but will no longer hold water. Again, no rags no buckets no control over water all over my kitchen except for rags and buckets I knew I needed to be prepared with to mitigate potential damage. The technician stated it was because our water supply from was from the hot side and was too powerful. I called a licensed plumber right in front of him and they looked later, and stated there was no issue. Also should note I have a home inspection report that is under 12 months old which cited no issues In summary, The initial service call was $105 ($100 plus needed me to pay bank service charge) Plumber is a friend and did not charge me for his time A new dishwasher was required a comparable dishwasher installed was $750 And either a repair or entirely new cabinet needs to be estimated
