B & W is a small father and son business, the type of business I like to deal with.I called and spoke to Bobby who was friendly receptive professional and very knowledgeable.I explain the situation and he explained the possible fixes with range of the cost. Bobby arrived at the promised time and went to work, immediately found the issue being the thermostat. Felt like our 25 year old fridge was no longer at its best - taking long to cool to temp and over recent years needing to dial it to a higher setting to keep milk from going back early. Did get assigned a 4 to 6 p.m. window on Friday afternoon. Got a confirmation just before 6 p.m. that Ian was on his way. Glad that Ian made it - he determine that our fridge coils really needed cleaning in the back (I've only cleaned underneath regularly and only discovered recently that there was a lot to clean on the back, which I did just the exterior. He took care of the insides I think near the coil and compressor and determined that our starter was fading. I think it was 1.5 hrs of work and parts for $250. May seem like a lot, but perfect for us to keep a 27 year GE fridge running as well as it has been. We'll know now to have the fridge cleaned when performance dips rather than bumping the setting colder.

Billy from this company called me last night he was hired by LG to repair my washer and dryer Is…read moreunder warranty until 2026 When He called me last night from the gym, he request my paperwork, and said he call me back when he was done working out , when he called me back, it was extremely different attitude, He was rude to me and said he was not coming out to my house unless I paid him cash, Billy said I did not have a service warranty contract with LG and that even if I did have an extended warranty, they were not worth shit that I wasted my money and time on it because they do not honor it, and he would not honor it!!! he told me that I would have to pay cash for his time and parts and service, after him yelling at me for five minutes on the phone about my warranty. He then told me that the phone call was being recorded and I told him I was glad to hear that it was being recorded, but, in Illinois it is illegal to record a phone call without giving person prior notification at the beginning of the call , so I hope you did record it, so it can come out on how rude this man was to a fellow veteran I did try to explain several times that I had an LG premium Care extended warranty and he told me that I was screwed that they did not warranty it and that it was a waste of money and that he would not honor it again he repeated this to me several times before I ended up hanging up on him i'm not sure if Billy is military related but whether or not he is a veteran. He had no real reason to be rude and nasty to me. I don't know what his problem was, but I would never recommend this company or this person to go into anyone's house he is very unstable . Beware of this man belly and his company. his eggs are not all in the basket if you know what I mean.
