Doc's Smokehouse 2191 N. US Highway 1, Titusville, FL 32796 3 Stars I briskly walked balladromically to the front door, inhaling the gorgeous aroma of slow-cooked smoked meat. Aubrey is the server. She was fantastic. She gave off a vibe of warmth and friendship and was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. She received a 40% tip today for her professionalism. Kudos, Aubrey! Thank you for being so dedicated to your job. I asked Aubrey for some smoked chicken wings, smoked meatloaf, and some smoked Mac & Cheese. I was beginning to see a pattern. There are two other restaurants of the same moniker that are connected. However, upon a call from my Editor, the person at Doc's Smokehouse in Titusville said she didn't think so, though she was relatively new, so don't quote her. The other two are in the Upper Midwest, so I would hazard to guess that unless Doc came down for some sun and decided not to leave, they are not related. Now, I like me a good dry wing, but one bite in and I found these to be so dry, I was spitting out cotton balls. Not really, but you get the point. I think these might have been left under the lights a bit too long or overcooked. Either way, they had superb flavoring they were just drier than the Gobi. The smoked meatloaf was above average. You got a good sense of the smoke. It was smokey on the palate, but not so much that it lacked flavor. The complex flavor of the meats, herbs, spices, and smoke came together in joyous harmony, dancing on my palate like a well-rehearsed symphony. The side of mashed potatoes was likewise delectable. As I approached my last dish to be sampled, I allowed the smoked meatloaf to leisurely exit my senses and then and only then did I sample the Smoked Mac & Cheese. This was almost as good as the Smoked Meatloaf. It was creamy and smokey, the pasta was cooked to perfection and it was above average. Nothing wrong here at all. If it hadn't been for the arid wings, this would have been a 4-star review. Smoke is the theme here, from the name to the menu. I'm all for that, as I love good slow and low-smoked meat. The Big Boy says, "Smoke 'em if ya got 'em and head to Doc's Smokehouse. You won't be disappointed."

I couldn't finish. That was the leftovers

I'm happy to see that they were open today so we stopped in. It's locally owned mom and pop and it's been here for years. They have a pretty basic breakfast and lunch menu. We came during breakfast and both my son and I ordered the All Star breakfast which comes with 3 eggs, 2 bacon strips, sausage patty, your choice of grits, home fries or hash browns and either 1 pancake or small order of French toast and includes a drink of choice. It all came out in a reasonable time. Eggs were cooked perfectly along with everything else. Their version of home fries is much different than what I'm used to. It's basically sliced potatoes that are fried with no seasonings. It was different. My son's pancake was really good! I will get the pancake instead of the French toast next time. We washed it down with some yummy sweet tea.

From start to finish, their professionalism, creativity, and organization were evident. The food was excellent--well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Service was organized and efficient, and everything flowed smoothly throughout the evening. Our guests consistently commented on how much they enjoyed the meal. What stood out early on was the tasting experience. It was not simply a presentation of menu items; it was a true collaboration. The team took time to discuss our vision for the event, the audience we were expecting, and what would best fit a corporate milestone celebration. They offered thoughtful ideas and guidance while remaining open to our input. The process felt like a partnership built on trust in their expertise and experience. One of the most impressive aspects was how they executed the décor around the catering displays. We shared general concepts tied to our industry and company identity, but we did not provide rigid instructions. Honeysuckle took that direction and elevated it beyond expectations. The incorporation of industrial elements--bolts, metal plate accents, and tools reflective of our fabrication and welding background--was creative, tasteful, and perfectly aligned with Dutchy Enterprises' brand. It was a complete and welcome surprise to see our company identity brought to life so thoughtfully in the food presentation itself. We are very grateful for the care, competence, and initiative Honeysuckle Catering brought to our event. They delivered not only exceptional food, but a cohesive and memorable experience that reflected who we are as a company.

The vegetables were very overcooked and the Mac & cheese had no flavor and was also overcooked. I would have given them 2 stars but they got an extra star for pepper vinegar. From the first bite, the flavors hit perfectly. The meats were seasoned and cooked just right, layered with fresh toppings that brought balance and texture to every mouthful. There's a richness to it, but it never feels overwhelming--just straight-up satisfying comfort food done right. Now, I'll be honest--the bread was slightly on the soggy side. But here's the thing... it didn't take away from the experience. If anything, it soaked up all that flavor, and once you leaned into it, it worked. Every bite still delivered. Pairing it with a Coco Rico? That was the move. The coconut sweetness cut through the savory flavors of the sandwich perfectly--it's one of those combinations you don't realize you need until you try it. Even though I ordered pickup, the experience still stood out. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and gave off that genuine "you're family here" vibe that you can't fake. 10/10--absolutely recommend. The quality in every item offered is undeniable; ultimately that's why I continue to visit. However, I have to express my distaste for the costumer service. I came in today and I got great service from the blonde guy who rung me up. However, the rainbow haired barista seemed to be very stressed out with the Sunday rush. Multiple people received both their drink and their food orders before me, and while I don't mind waiting, I asked to just confirm that my food was being worked on. The barista was very curt and especially not happy to deal with me when I had to ask again if my smoothie was being worked on. I totally understand the breakfast rush can be stressful, and dealing with a long list of orders can be a lot to deal with, but I was not impressed by the communication skills of the barista. I also didn't appreciate how she was speaking to her coworkers. Regardless, the food and coffee speaks for itself so I will be returning! I just hope that she's able to learn to communicate with kindness, especially when nothing but patience and understanding was given.
