We went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The interior is somewhat small, not a huge amount of seating. We only waited about 20 minutes for our larger party to be seated, so not too bad! Service was attentive and quick. The classic diner food was very tasty!

Located in the heart of Titusville, the Downtown Diner has its own parking lot that offers easy access. Very relaxed atmosphere with a view of the kitchen make it a fun place to people watch. We were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. I loved the menus that offered large size font, and not sure if that has to do with the demographics of the area but it sure made it easier to read! Some cool historic photos on the wall make for an interesting read. The restaurant is clean and our server was super friendly and efficient. Once our order was taken we literally had it on the table within minutes. Nice offering of fresh food, breakfast and lunch, right off the grill with healthy options alike. Open from 6 AM to 2 PM daily. Check their website for any changes to the hours. Great food, great service at great prices. Check it out!

Great place been coming here for 5 years Reasonal prices isn't great service. Particularly a fan of their pancakes and large crispy fish fillets available with breakfast and lunch dishes The diner is attached to a motel. OK the motel looks a little bit sketch or at least like a mom and pop hotel from 1974, but the diner is clean, friendly and tasty. I think some of the booths even have USB ports to charge your phone while you wait. It can get rather crowded rather quickly on the weekend, but they cycle people through pretty fast thanks to their very fast but friendly service.

Really good food and service! The menu offered a good variety of items and drinks. Nice bar type atmosphere with comfortable seating options. Easily accommodated our party of eight.

The Downtown Diner is attached to a hotel and definitely has a local type vibe. The service was friendly and outgoing and only enhanced my overall experience. The food is good and what you would expect from a mom-and-pop diner. I went with an omelet and would definitely recommend it.

A very popular spot, even at 10:30 am on a Tuesday!

I thought I'd reviewed the DtD before but alas, I was mistaken. Cozy and friendly with excellent food, it's our new go-to when visiting Titusville for rocket launches. Some great choices including breakfast greats biscuits and gravy, several types of pancakes, eggs Benedict, pork chops, fish, and chicken and waffles. Give the Downtown Diner a try. You won't regret it!

I love local diners like this. We had a table near the front and I noticed that the staff frequently greeted arriving patrons by name. Pretty cool. The service was very good and prompt. You can see the kitchen staff hustling behind the counter. Our order was filled quickly and it tasted great. They kept our coffee topped off and check-in with us periodically. It was a popular place on Sunday morning so parking was getting full by 8:30am. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Titusville.

I appreciate coffees that balance flavor without being too sweet and this delivered! Also tried their double chocolate jumbo muffin - nice moist and fluffy, really highlighting the chocolate flavor again without overwhelming sweetness. Tons of fresh cookies, fresh baked scones. Breakfast sandwiches, etc I had a breakfast cup and it was very good. Consisted of biscuit, sausage gravy, eggs, cheese, topped with a ton of bacon. The morning glory muffin was great. Very delicious. The meat quiche was also delicious and very flavorful. The cinnamon bun was huge, but cold and dry. They do not serve it warmed. Only wrapped in cellophane. All of the brown sugar was at the bottom of the bun, in the cellophane. When asked if they could warm it, the staff member pointed to a microwave on the counter. The microwave warmed it some, but didn't help the flavor, or the lack there of. Without spreading the icing, they gave you in a cup with the bun, it would've had little flavor at all. Overall it was good. However, better customer service could be improved. This place is not cheap. Two black coffee's, a breakfast cup, slice of quiche with a muffin, and a cinnamon bun was 40 bucks. Plus a tip on top. It's more like a Starbucks with more choices. However, Starbucks will warm up your bun.

The street view does not do this place good justice - once you enter you find yourself in a sizeable coffee house with plenty of seating or counterspace to use. The menu was not extensive, but it wasn't short-n-sweet either. It had all the mainstays such as lattes and Americanos, along with breakfast servings from eggs and ham/sausage to delicious bakery items. We choose to have some bakery items... My wife had their blueberry muffin while I had their iced oatmeal brownie - they were decadently delicious. So much so, I may make a surprise trip to this place one morning to bring back these delectables back home. Service was friendly, helpful, and our coffees came out hot and fresh. The only nit was that there were no napkins anywhere to be had, not entirely sure why. Anyway, we will be back and most certainly I will...

On a complete whim, after spotting enough billboards to convince me today was the day, we pulled into Dixie Crossroads. Right off the bat, the building welcomes you with an outdoor lobby attraction: clusters of people leaning over railings, completely transfixed by giant koi fish like they're watching the season finale of a prestige drama. Inside, the vibe is an immediate breath of fresh air--warm, open, and buzzing with the happy chatter of people aggressively bonding over seafood. We were seated immediately near the front door and handed our drinks, accompanied by an unexpected divine intervention: a complimentary bowl of powdered doughnut holes. Let me be clear. I have zero memory of what we actually ordered. It had fish in it, presumably. It was great! But those powdered doughnut holes? Absolute sorcery. We had to channel every ounce of our marital self-control not to inhale the entire bowl before our entrees even had a chance to show up. Great food, wonderful atmosphere... but those powdered doughnuts are the real reason to make the trip. Greatness with sugar on top. Literally!

Fast, curious, light-hearted, anticipatory, and the server helped us successfully peel and eat the rock shrimp. Even the hostesses were pleasant. Atmosphere: 3/5 We were seated in an inside area, not close to the window. So, it felt a little dreary with the lighting. Nothing negative, but I perceived it to be an average atmosphere. Value: 4/5 Really good value. The food was affordable to almost cheap on some items. I was very pleased with the pricing. The food was seasoned, the portion size was nice, and again, the service was great. It was also a nice nostalgic experience for me. Opportunities for Learning: 4/5 The Dixie Crossroads has been around for decades. And the founders are pioneers in the peeling of rock shrimp, particularly in FL, so the restaurant story is amazing. Additionally, with the variety of seafood, there's much to discover and learn about the menu, rock shrimp, and the founding family's story.
