We got the beef kabob and it was delish! Tons of flavor and more food than I was expecting beef was a tad tough in the thick places but still a great find

Well, the reviews really speak for themselves. I think it's a little misleading to call this a "kebab" house. Really, the beef kebab wasn't all too bad. I liked the spices on it and it was tender. The unfair part is that it's one small-ish kebab skewers per dish, and of course you way over pay for it. I think at least 2 skewers would be much more fair. But, like I said, I really actually didn't mind the beef skewer, and together with the pita bread, lettuce and sour cream it was decent. I enjoyed the Greek Salad as well, though that was about as basic as a salad could get and once again cost too much. This is a small hut food stop in the Lost Continent section of Islands of Adventure, and it definitely seems to get lost indeed amongst all the other meal choices and things going on at the parks- for good reason.

We stopped by Doc Sugrue's Desert Kebab House for a quick snack before lunch. The kebabs were not ready so we picked up some of their appetizers and fruits available. Reviewing the menu, we selected the hummus and pita, along with a fruit cup. The order was approximately $12.00. The fruit cup was relatively large, enough for my daughter and I to split. The fruit was fresh and scrumptious, especially on a hot summer day! The Hummus dip was good. Pita, carrots, and celery were provided for the dip. There isn't too much seating available. There are several tables with covered seating, however, raindrops to drip through the ceiling, so, be careful covering your food appropriately if you're eating at those tables. This is a good quick service spot if you're looking to avoid sit-down restaurants or mobile order locations. It also has some of the healthiest options available inside the Universal theme park.

For the price, the kebabs were pretty small - I feel like they could've put more on the skewer since there was a lot of unused skewer. The taste of the chicken was good and the wait time wasn't bad, but it just seemed like they could've given a better portion size instead of leaving like 70% of the skewer empty.

Ordered a chicken, they gave me a beef

Service is trash as fuck, waited 45 mins for my food, the guys behind the counter don't know what they are doing. People who came after me by 45 mins, are getting their order (exact same as mine), before me. Like what's going on here. Food quality was okay, but they gave me beef when I asked for chicken .

Excellent option - specially the Greek salad (hummus included) and the beef kebab. As any other food stand/food cart/restaurant in a theme park, a little overpriced. They really need to take better care of the dining area (tables located nearbt): a lot of pigeons are waiting to ruin your experience. As a rule of thumb, remember NEVER TO FEED THE RATS, and take care of the leftovers after you finish. During my visit, the garbage bin was full and spilling over. They (Universal employees) need to pay close attention and clean it more often!

The food here isn't cheap, but it is one of the few places at Universal that you can get a really good quality meal.

This mall does feel like a backroom, or liminal space. They are as advertised, a local Italian market, deli, and bakery. The trifecta, if you will. It's got a huge parking space area and located next to a gym. They offer a lot of Italian goods from cheese to meats to pistachio spread to snacks. The meat counter offers hot sandwiches and they even have a sandwich of the week. They have a bakery counter and to no one's surprise, many items will be sold out if you go at the end of the day. This was disappointing for me as I really wanted to try their pistachio sfogliatelle. So we got two huge sandwiches, which they cut in half for you, and some baked goods and coffee. They have a coffee counter and the lattes are good. We tried the sandwich of the week, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with caramelized onions, fig jam, and provolone. This was a 8.5/10. It was good, rich, and fatty. Not a light meal sandwich. Definitely had half of it and felt very full. We also got the Soprano, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with pesto, tomatoes, prosciutto, arugula, and fresh shaved parmesan. This was a 9/10. Lighter on the body than the other sandwich, but it was still filling and I can only have one half at a time. The sandwiches came out to about $30 for both, but that's almost four meals right there for that price. For the baked goods, we tried the Nutella sfogliatelle, pistachio creampuff, and a pistachio cannoli. A sfogliatelle is a laminated pastry that looks like a lobster tail. This was delicious and crispy and sweet. I wish I could have tried the pistachio one. This was a 8.5/10. The pistachio creampuff surprised me. This was a 8.5/10. I thought it was going to be too sweet, but it was good. Pistachio flavor could have been stronger. The pistachio cannoli was a 10/10. This was insanely good and perfect and I should have bought five of them. We tried the cookie butter latte from the cafe. This was a 9/10. The cookie butter was well mixed with the espresso and the espresso was strong and high quality. Overall, this place was a 9.5/10 and I will be back. I mean those prices and that quality moves it from the "let me try" list to the "let me be a regular" list.

I came in, looked the menu up and down, and shortly afterwards a gentleman behind the counter eagerly took my order. Then, a few minutes later the sandwich was done to perfection and wrapped tightly. That was great customer service. Plus, they had a question and communicated to me that they had a question. This doesn't happen at all local delis. The store is clean and well stocked. There is much more of selection here of premade and/freshly made desserts, dinners, etc. Will be back for sure.

It looks small from the outside but its pretty big on the inside especially when the extension is the produce seafood and meat are located. It is clean inside but there is a stench when you reach the produce meat and seafood aisle. The shelves and items are organized and neat and somewhat easy to find things in particular. The freezer section to em need to eb restocked since a few areas were almost empty with items. I was in a hunt for a small bottle of LKK Hoisin sauce and they offered smaller bottles for about $3 I think. They have reasonable prices on some items. And some are similar priced to other asian stores nearby. They do sell the viral fruit ice cream pops that come in those containers where it holds the popsicle stick. I was not interested in them so I passed them by. This store is not busy or crowded like Lotte or Enson. This place has a good variety of cute kawaii dishwares. I would come back here again but I prefer Lotte / Enson for more variety.

The hot bar with the daily specials (they change daily- please don't expect the full menu, as it is fresh ingredients!) opens at 11am, and the food is hot, fresh, and delicious. You can also order catering sizes of some items- I called on a Monday for a short notice potluck the coming Thursday, and got a small, 50 pc catering order of Lumpia. The lumpia came with sweet chili sauce, and I was able to also buy a bottle of banana ketchup. Everyone loved the lumpia, and it was a great way to share my heritage. I am a mixed heritage first gen Filipino American, and even though I don't speak Tagalog because my father never taught us, I felt welcomed immediately and the foods I have gotten here made me feel like I was genuinely back with my family and the foods I grew up with my paternal family serving. Small order rice $3 / $1-$1.50 Drinks - $1.89 / $1.59 - $1.79 (stickers are posted on cooler) It takes energy to even inform the young guy about him over charging. So the price hikes has been affected with the hot dishes and so forth. I am not sure about dry goods. A small kare kare which is not all oxtail meat btw is $9.50 - I think if its all oxtail charge that but if I see pcs of cubed meat then you are cheating customers. The serving grandma who serves and packs food barely uses gloves and at times I have seen her fingers touch the food. They need to train the lady to use gloves when serving foods. I have noticed they do not sell or cook much food on weekends any more perhaps the pricing. Sisig is $9 from the cooler section. It needed more onions when I bought it last time. This is one of the best sellers btw. I will still support De Guzman but the price increased has slowed me down going here. My go to are the chicken afritada, dinuguan, kare kare, palabok, bilo bilo, mechado and caldareta. The pineapple chicken is not bad either. The house made lumpia are not good. I prefer brand name frozen lumpias. So far they are still closed on Tuesdays until further notice.

I wanted to get vegetables, but we went to a different aisle first since it looked cramped. We got groceries like dhal, cream of wheat, and others. It looked clean and organized. Once it got less crowded, we went to the vegetables area and got what we needed. However, I noticed some signs warning customers not to sample anything. Honestly, if kids want a small piece of fruit, go to Publix where some stores offer the kids to take a free fruit. The meats area was pretty nice and they had a good amount of chicken, beef, and lamb/goat pieces. They can get pretty pricey though. In fact, many groceries were quite expensive. That's why I avoided buying some of my favorite Indian dinners in the frozen food session. Even though the store looked clean and maintained, it looked pretty sterile. While there were some TVs showing Bollywood, there were no audio. Mostly families talking to each other and kids as well. And it looks like the kids can get rambunctious over there as there were signs warning parents to control their kids and the "you break, you buy" signs as well. Staff were friendly enough though. The store is in a building that also has a food court, and even a lighting store. There are even other restaurants located in the strip too. While I like Apna Bazaar for their meats (especially lamb), it's pretty pricey and mundane compared to other places. I think Patel Brothers and House of Spices provides a better experience at even lower prices. But at least you can get good meats and enjoy some non veg cuisine at the food court too. Overall: C+
