I am vegan and they were happy to accommodate my dietary needs and not with just a salad. The chef made me an amazing vegan pasta, salad and great brushetta appetizer. Wow, shocked, surprised and satisfied are all words that come to me to describe DOC in Cabo. The procuitto was the best I've had outside Italy, thin to WIN and this was paper thin melting in your mouth. (Before I continue, I live in Chicago, married in Italy and my mother in law still makes the best Pasta...) Italian with a touch Mexican influence, eating simple and the best ingredients is what makes Italian good great in every country. Pesche aqua pazza stole the show but Le Cozze con gorgonzola was a up there. We had three pastas, all fresh and they were all fantastic. The pesto was great, love the touch with Potatoe. The Mexican wines were more than great. Casa Madre and Casa Grande can stand up to anything in Napa/Sonoma.. if you are in Cabo, try the local wine. Be brave. Dessert, have to have the flan, tiramesu and enjoy the homemade limoncella. Overall, great dinning experience and I can't wait to go back. Thank you for sharing your passion with us. read more

We came here on the recommendation of a couple who have been coming to Cabo for 18 years and are so glad we did. Everything was amazing and so authentic. I never thought I'd ever say that the best Italian food I've had was in Mexico. We were so surprised - and grateful- for the recommendation while we were vising this past October! We didn't have a reservation but they graciously sat us anyway. The ambiance was so nice and such a good change of pace of the hustle and bustle of downtown. I'm not one to call out anyone's mental capabilities but if you don't eat at this place your an idiot! We had a few in our group that said "why do I want Italian food in Mexico?" Why!?! Because it is flipp'n outstanding. Carlos and his whole crew did a wonderful job with our group of 19. We did a family style food service that was perfect. The meat and cheese plater for starters was awesome. Sliced tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and basil was nice addition. Doc signature pasta is a must too. They had no problem with our group size, we did call in the daytime though to coordinate. The deserts were good also. Trust me a must when you come to Cabo. read more

Great service and great food. We ordered the meat and cheese platter. The white wine mussels and the creamy white sauce truffle gnocchi. It was all spectacular. The only down side is the busy passing street with smoky and smelly cars. We were sitting on the patio thinking it will be nice to see the active night live downtown. Who would have ever imagined- the absolute best Italian restaurant in Cabo! We got there and by all appearances it's just a hole in the wall. The manager seated us and ended up taking us through an amazing food and wine experience. We couldn't read the menu and finally asked him to bring us his recommended wines and food. He started us out with appetizers and then pasta. The short rib ravioli was to die for as well as the Doc pasta (if you like spicy). He then brought us the red snapper. It's the whole fish baked in a salt and egg white crust. The waiter filleted it at our table. I wish we would have found this place at the beginning of our vacation instead of the end, so we could have gone more than once. We definitely will go back next year! read more

So surprised to find authentic Italian food in Mexico. It was unbelievably good. I orders the DOC pasta and he flavored were incredible. Too spicy for my tastebuds and I love spice.
