I went in with a one month old fracture for follow up x-rays and second opinion. I loved how I was taken care of by the super friendly and most helpful staff. The doctors were super caring and referred me to the best orthopedist ever. As they also offer primary care I will stay with them. First time at DOCCS, took my daughter in for pain in her back. I was lucky, had only a short wait. We saw a PA named Stefan Hartmann--ask for him if you go to DOCCS; he is just great. He examined the back, ordered an x-ray, and discussed it with us, we had a consult with Dr. Sahai, who is also great...I feel really good that we know what is going on, and how to avoid and correct the problem. The PA referred me to specialists he trusts in the area, which we may not need, but is good to know. I feel empowered and relieved. Saw Erin tonight and for the third time she was rude and insensitive. I work with patients in a medical facility so I have to make sure that when im sick it's not strep or anything contagious. When she came in to see me she asked "do you think you need antibiotics every time you have a cold ?" Then proceded to tell me that her daughter is 22 and has never been on antibiotics. I exolained to her that if the strep is negative and I don't need antibiotics then that's perfectly fine and she continued to ask repeated questions about if I know what a cold feels like and have I ever had a cold and not taken antibiotics etc etc. All in all very rude and poor customer service skills. read more

Staff is very nice, BUT too many staff are NOT wearing masks!! Including patients in the waiting room, as well as the nurse and physician assistant that treated me. We were all literally just inches away from each other for half and hour for the treatment breathing the same air - I was wearing a mask and they did not. I would give them a zero if I could. The place was deplorable, it is in dirty and bad condition. The wallpaper peeling off the walls, dirty furniture, floors peeling. I felt like I needed a tetanus shot when I left. After 3 tries still have not sent my doctor my records. The PA said the doctor thought I had appendicitis, I said I don't have my appendix. Then they sent me for a CT scan and put me on a very heavy dose of antibiotics which made me sick. I would steer clear of this facility. read more

BEWARE! !!! How this place is open and opperational is beyond me.. Dr. Sahay is the most unprofessional physician I have ever met! My grandfather died last week and has not been able to be cremated due to this woman refusing to sign his death certificate despite being his PCP. After 3 days of calling the medical examiners office, office of vitals and statistics, the funeral home and the hospital where he died ... I quickly learned who was delaying my grandfather's right to rest in peace.. his good old PCP. I called day after day being put on hold for 20 to 30 mins.. only to be told good thing you didn't call the day before because the wait was up to 40 mins. Debbie is pleasant.. the younger receptionist needs serious customer service training.. but needless to say why should anyone be placed on hold for that ridiculous amount of time. The funeral home stated that the office staff confirmed they had received the death certificate they faxed over early in the morning only to find out at 5 pm that they never received it and it needed to be resent. Needless to say the funeral home has the same opinion as I do of this place! What happened to my grandfather was very cruel and caused my grandmother additional stress and suffering. We had over 15 family members including myself who all flew in from NJ expecting to have my grandfather cremated 3 days ago and a memorial service on Sunday which none of us will be able to attend since the physician was inconsiderate enough to sign the death certificate on the 7th day of his passing.. leaving the cremation to take place on Monday when we're on the plane. I have been a Registered Nurse for many years and currently work as a Director of Nursing and have never witnessed such a mess!!!! If you value your health, time and money please go to a provider that will take the time to investigate your health issuses and not shove pills down your throat or conveniently avoid signing your death certificate. Recently brought my 96 year old MIL in for Overall not feeling well. Both the PA Jason Moneymaker and his EMT Kevin were very accommodating and thorough. Although we were there for 3 hours I felt they did their very best to make my MIL comfortable and help diagnose her chest congestion, plugged ears and fever. Went here at 5am, only patient in the place. Front staff friendly. Saw a PA, she never even examined me. I told her some of my symptoms and she told me what she thought it was and wrote me a prescription. I have been to 3 different urgent cares around Melbourne and this was by far the worst and most expensive. How can you diagnose a patient without examining them. Spent 130 dollars to sit and talk to a PA for 5 minutes and get a prescription for something I didn't even have. Stay away!!! read more

The website indicates that they offer annual wellness exams - so I scheduled one so I could establish a doctor in town (I just moved here). They confirmed my appointment in writing via email - then 3 hours before my appointment I received a call cancelling and was told they don't offer this service. Unbelievable. This place is THE WORST!!! I had an appointment and waited for 1 1//2 to spend 10 minutes with the doctor. Next visit AGAIN WITH AN APPOINTMENT and waited 2 HOURS to spend 15 minutes with the doctor. Today I had an appointment for 9:30 for an ultrasound. I saw the ultrasound tech walk in at 9:30. I sat there for 20 minutes and then I walked up to the receptionist and told her that I hadn't eaten since yesterday afternoon (per the instructions) and if I wasn't called in by 10:00 after waiting for 30 minutes, I would walk out and that's exactly what I did. I WALKED OUT!!! I'm over this place and didn't care for the abrasive, non empathetic Dr. Sahay anyway. Worst service ever, front office staff was really sick the first night and the PA moved like a turtle and acted like she had no idea what she was doing. Their was one lady being seen in front of me and it took roughly one hour to be seen, then another hour to do the check up. I had to return tonight just for a quick follow up and was told I'll have you back in a second, after waiting about 30-45 minutes I asked any idea how long till we would seen, she respond well you have two in front of you so who knows. read more

So I was told I would receive a bill in the mail. First, they didn't get back to me until 10/27/19, almost a year and a half later and only because a good samaritan returned their bill when they kept leaving off my apartment number. So I called them, they had no record of correcting the address themselves and said I had another bill from the doctor that I also wasn't paying. The bill for listening to a condescending doctor was $115 and the bill to sit in the "examination" room was $140. The bill for the room also has the wrong date on it. read more

I just got back from an urgent care visit. The receptionist made me feel very unwelcome. I was taken back by a "medic" because they apparently don't have a nurse. The scale did not work, so we "had to guess" my weight. The BP cuff did not work so we had to get others. The medic did not have a manual system because she left her stethoscope at home, she advised me. She was at least nice. I was put into a room where a man came in -- ostensibly a doctor, but he did not introduce himself to me. He told me that he didn't know why I was there and told me that if I have GYN issues, I should go to a gynecologist. He did not refer me to the women's health section. He said that I should take OTC pain killers for 3 days and maybe take a bath instead of a shower. He burped loudly during the visit. I was the only person there, but I was still there for more than an hour. A mother with a sick child came is as I was being taken back. It was not busy. I felt stupid for going in, humiliated, and I got no help. I did, however, have to pay my $35 copay -- they made sure of that. I called and asked for the practice manager when I got home and was told 1st that they weren't sure they had one and then that he doesn't come in until maybe 10:00. I had to ask to leave a message for a return call as I was not offered. This visit was really upsetting. I would not recommend that anyone go to this clinic...it was an awful experience. read more

Amazing place !! So happy my insurance carrier found it as an in network place for me. Coming from out of town I was worried I would spend $$$$ getting help. They were easy to find , bright , clean , professional and I felt confident while there. Staff was professional and helpful. A special call out to Megan the P A And Becky Joe the nurse. Megan was so friendly , professional , intune, good listener , educated. Becky was funny and down to earth! Overall, I got the help I needed and individualized attention. Glad I found it in an emergency type situation. I would highly recommend going here if you are in the area of Melbourne or half an hour from Cocoa Beach area. I've been to DOCCS on quite a few different occasions. I do have a primary care physician elsewhere however, this is convenient when I cannot get into see my PCP. This post is specifically to share my experience at DOCCS yesterday and today. I was prescribed a medication yesterday I've never taken before. It made me dizzy. I took the second dose today and the dizziness has increased and now my heart seems to be palpitating. I called DOCCS walk in clinic to change my prescription. The phone was answered, I explained what was going on and the lady said, "okay, please hold." I continued to wait for 20minutrs until I asked my boyfriend to drive me over to DOCCS (since I cannot drive due to the dizziness). When I walked in, I had been on hold for 28 minutes. I explained what was going on and the receptionist immediately questioned the receptionist next to her about why I was on hold for so long in a very unprofessional manner. The 2nd receptionist said she would be with me in a moment. When she finally got to me, she had me write my information down and said she was going to bring some patients back in just a minute and she would pass the note along to the nurse, if I would like to have a seat. I waited for 10 minutes before the receptionist went back. She came out and said the doctor was with someone but they would take a look at it, then immediately walked away. I was confused-I wasn't sure if I needed to wait or if they could just call me. So I got up and asked the receptionist if I needed to wait. She rudely and a bit loudly said, "do you not want to wait?" I said, "I'm just wondering if I need to wait or if someone is going to be calling me." She said, "I just said the nurse will be out to talk to you." I understand it's the holidays and the office is busy however, my boyfriend is a nurse in a hospital and he would never speak to a patient in this manner. The people in the waiting room are here because they do not feel well. The way today was handled for me, did not help me to feel better or reassured that I was going to be taken care of. read more

Who spent 5 minutes examining me and the rest of the time chatting about his life and career moves with my husband. Office staff was rude and unhelpful as well. Instead of coming here I recommend using the Internet Dr. On Demand service. Way cheaper ($40 versus the $130 spent here) since there's no real exam here the end result is the same for less money and time! read more

Arrived and waited 45 minutes for them to bring us to another room to wait. The doctor just looked at my moms ribs and did X-rays, they said they were going to call us and never did. We have called this morning to get the results and the RUDE secretary, Debbie, said the doctor was going to call us between 4 and 430. No ca of course. We then called about 6 times and Debbie kept putting us on hold each time for 15 min before we Hung up. She was so rude she even picked up the phone and hung up on purpose multiple times. After a bad fall last nite-thought I broke my foot, I called Doccs this morning and they stated they could take care of me - that I wouldn't need to go to a hospital. I got there, hobbled in, signed in as "new patient" and waited and waited- over 45 min before the receptionist called me up and apologized that she didn't realize I was new and here's some forms to fill out. Well the entire place went in before I did, and as I hobbled to the examing room and then hobbled to the xray room at the end of their office, I kept wondering...don't they have a wheel chair I could sit it, my foot really hurts! The doctor read the x-rays, stated it looks like a break but want to confirm w/radiologist and to call back tomorrow and recommended me to see an orthopedic/foot Dr. In the meantime I was to drive to a pharmacy 15 min away to purchase a boot to wear. Called my friend who had similar injury last year and she was "shocked" that they didn't have a wheel chair and that they didn't have a boot or crutches there for me to use. She had gone to Premier Urgent care in Suntree and they practically met her at her car with a wheel chair and provided her w/ boot and crutches when she left. read more

Went to Docs with my wife for a fall. Waited for half to be waited on. We were taken to a room were is was dirty and clutter. Arms on chair ripped, cabinets open with no one there, blood on floor and wall. Than taken to another room to wait another half hour to see a PA not a doctor. She was taken to x-ray by someone who had no ID or name tag. When she returned the result was to go see her regular doctor. Called to have report sent to her doctor only to be told to wait. After a 15 minute wait was hung up on. Called back and waited 15 minutes again. Please if you care about someone really think about were you want to go. Read other reviews on them . We all must make our decisions on who treats us. read more

Left confused about where to go with the problem I was there for. I was told to go to the emergency room if it got worse. However no info on what kind of doctor to see other wise. I tried to get some kind of direction as to whom I should see 2 days later and was informed if I had a broken bone they could refer someone. Since I did not have a broken bone they could not assist me any further. I also agree that the chairs are really dirty...ground in and old. This just has to make you think if that is the waiting room how sanitary is the office. I will go to some place else next time. read more

I went here on March 7, 2019 and had Xrays done on my elbow. It was completely discolored all the way around my arm and my elbow had a huge lump on it. I slipped and fell and landed directly on the ball of my elbow. The discoloration was about 10" in length and all the way around. I do not have insurance so I paid my fee, they said I needed X-Rays so I had to prepay that, no problem. I sat for another two hours and was finally told there is no one available to read the X-Rays. What??? I was then told that they would have someone read them when they are available and they would call me. I left and went home with no treatment just waiting... My elbow began to get progressively worse over the next few weeks. I finally called them back to tell them I feel as though it's worse. I informed them no one has ever called and 4 weeks later it's still huge and the pain is worse. They said for me to drive up and they would go over the X-Rays... I jumped right in my car and drove up and when I arrived I was told there is a long wait because there are patients ahead of me. (I'm sure no one waiting longer than a month). I showed the receptionist a picture of what my elbow looked like the day the X-Rays were taken and lifted my elbow to show her what it's like today. She shook her head and said hold on I'll get the doctor now. The doctor calls me back within 2 minutes took me right inside the door and said my X-Rays are negative, grabbed the ball on my elbow and shook it and said maybe I have gout... What???I asked to please have the report saying it's negative. I drove straight to the ER and the Emergency Room did X-Rays and came back and said I have a fracture and the elbow is full of fluid because it was my body trying to protect itself around the fracture and produced fluid. I was then told it should have at a minimum been wrapped and compressed. I was then told the fracture had started to heal since I have been walking around like that for a month. I was told now I will have to see an orthopedist to drain the fluid and assess the partially healed fracture to see how to correct this. All this facility was concerned about was getting money then just wanted to send me away. I will be trying to find out if there is any recourse I have read more

just got out of the docks after over a year hiatus and nothing changes. you are still getting an appointment and not getting called in until 45 minutes after you been there. my appointment was at 2 PM . i signed the sheet at 1:50.....at 2:30 approached the counter to tell the receptionist that I had an appointment at 2:00 PM and had to go back to work.. she basically said "I am sorry ... do you want to re-schedulle ?" "no ma'am i want to make sure I don't get charged for this. I was here and on time " I will be looking for another family doctor thank you. the thing is Dr. Sahay didnt have not one patient in the sign in sheet but me ...so why do they have me waiting ? I am done !and BTW all I needed is to be cleared to have my dentist remove a tooth . so for a tooth surgery i need to be aggravated. I am done. there goes 2 patients me and my wife. I took my young son in for what I thought was a nasty bug bite, it turned out to be an infection. Instead of waiting for results the doctor prescribed 2 different antibiotics that would cover all the possible infections. He showed me how to apply the medicine & helped keep my son calm. I think this was an excellent experience & it was so fast!! The only thing I wish they would've called me with the results of the culture, I had to call them. read more

Mrs. Sahay is the worst doctor I have ever been to, she belittles her staff and patients, she claimed that I was ruining her reputation because I was unable to control my diabetes. I would avoid this place like the plague. Sahay referred me to a doctor that almost caused me to go blind and wound up costing me $80,000 for an emergency operation. read more

Once she finally made it into the examination room, I was given the 'bums rush' and got less than 15 minutes to speak with her. Good staff but in serious need of facility makeover. First the good news, the front desk and all staff I encountered were very nice and extremely efficient. The Dr was friendly the seemed very knowledgeable . The largest drawback of DOCCS is that the furniture and facility is in very bad condition. The tile in lobby area is so old that it looks permanently dirty. The carpet, paint, furniture etc looked like what was done to the place when it opened maybe 40 years ago and has never been replaced. The carpet is worn and to the point of looking permanently grimy due to age. Perhaps this could reflect good prices...but folks please, please, please fix this place-up. Good location and good team, you and your customers deserve better. DOCCS seems like it would be a good location for emergency care (aside from facility condition), however I was not a fan as a potential for primary care. They are highly focused on efficiency and get you processed quickly but I felt like I was on a speed date for the whole process. Probably great for processing emergencies, not what I want for my primary care. read more

I went there a couple months ago because I do not currently have a primary care doctor. I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and pink eye and prescribed amoxicillin and eye drops. I took the entire dosage of medication and did not get better. After a week of suffering through the sinus infection after the medication was gone I decided it was time to go back. Unfortunately this time was not helpful in the slightest bit. I had a different doctor than the previous visit. Before the doctor even MET me, he assumed it was "pollen." He came in with a paper about "controlling your allergies" before he even heard my story. Afer talking for over ten minutes about how it MUST be pollen, I finally was able to explain to him what my symptoms and story was and he said, "oh no. It is pollen." After I insisted that my body does NOT react this way to pollen, he said that the pollen counts were high because of recent rain and to "PROVE" to me that he was right he had me follow him to a computer as he looked it up. The pollen count was only at a 6.2 at the time which is pretty normal for Florida and not "super high" like he insisted. To cover himself he brought up the pollen count of New York City and said, "Well see! NYC is super low so obviously ours is higher in comparison." First of all, I don't live in New York City, second, 6.2 is NORMAL in Florida. He brought be back to the room, refused to listen to me, laughed and said "You have what I love to call rainitis," gave me a paper about "controlling my allergies" and sent me on my way. I was in tears when I left because at this point I had been sick for almost a month. So I suffered through this another week and finally went to a different Urgent Care Facility. The doctor there was quite helpful and told me my ORIGINAL sinus infection did not clear after receiving such a weak dosage of amoxicillin and prescribed me a stronger dosage of a stronger antibiotic. Unfortunately, even after taking that medication the damage was done after having this illness for so long. It has now turned into bronchitis for which I am now taking a DIFFERENT medication. According to the doctor who is now helping me at the different facility this can sometimes happen. Especially when you take such a weak dosage to begin with (or get ignored or written off by a doctor who laughs at you and says you have "rainitis.") I will NEVER go back to DOCCS and I will NEVER recommend ANYONE ever go there. I have now been sick for TWO MONTHS and I whole-heartedly believe that if that doctor had LISTENED to me rather than laugh and me and tell me I have a made-up illness, I wouldn't be sick now. read more

Waited 15 minutes just for the front desk lady to appear and check my mom in and when she finally came out, she was nice enough but smelled badly of cigarette smoke. Went back with some other lady (cna?)... who knows as she barely spoke to us or introduced herself. Then saw the PA who I think just graduated from school, came off as very unknowledgeable with no sense of urgency or true caring. I'm sorry if my mom's pain was not "urgent" or a "priority" enough to him, but that is my loved one and it was a priority to ME. Being a nurse, this experience was totally unacceptable and is an embarrassment to health care. We ended up just going to the ER after realizing there was no definitive diagnosis and no one knew what they were doing. Words of advice for this facility- treat everyone as if they were YOUR mom and don't minimize the reason a patient comes to see you. read more

We brought our son in for an infection on his finger. The doctor did a scrape test and sent the labs out. We were told that the results would be back in a few days. Weeks passed and still no results. We kept following up. We called again last Friday and was told that by the individual, hereinafter referred to as "R," that she would return my call with an update on that following Monday. On Monday at 6pm, still no call and R wasn't even working that day. We followed up, yet again, and learned that they had just sent the labs out that Friday. Again, weeks after his initial appointment. We were advised that they had initially used the wrong lab code and that was the reason for the delay. My feeling is that the labs were never sent out the first time because when we called, no one could find record of his labs. We followed up again last night and after being left on hold for over 15 minutes, we finally spoke to a physician's assistant who told us that we could bring our son back in but there likely wasn't anything that could be done without an answer from the lab. After having just heard that it would likely be a fruitless appointment, a second physician's assistant told us that we could bring him in again but we were going to be charged for another appointment. At this point, I would have waived the follow up appointment fee if I were running their business. Bottom line, weeks have passed, his finger isn't better, and we still have no results. I would never recommend this place due to terrible customer care. read more

Terrible. Wait time was horrible. Was sick and had the worst sore throat and didn't want to suffer so I asked for something for the pain and she said she would give me a shot for the swelling. What does that do for pain? Thanks. Told her I couldn't swallow pills and still gave me all pill form. I walked away with a pill form steroid and pull form amoxocillin. read more

An employee of ours went there after getting injured at work in the evening. Our employee stated to the receptionist and to the PA that he was hurt at work. They charged his health insurance. I as the HR administrator called the next day and sent them workers comp info. For one week now I have been trying to get paperwork from them with our employees restrictions. They gave me story after story and then wanted him to come back for another eval. These are the most unprofessional staff members I have ever dealt with. Manual was the PA and I spoke with Leann, Brenda, and Debbie. Stay away. read more
